The best part is that they're still around. The latest album is Sunburst.

T man, these guys are awesome. Been a fan since Crazy Nights came out when I was in high school. Was fortunate enough to see them at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago a few years back, real small place, up close and personal. These guys are the nicest, most gracious and humble people. Was an awesome show. This whole album is great as well as the Lightning Strikes album. Thanks so much for the video. Keep up the great work!

Bought this cassette in 1985 when this was originally released. The guitar work just floored all of my buddies that were learning guitar at the time (We were 15-16) . Akira put ALL American guitarists on notice when he played on this album. Solid rhythm, bass is noticeable and strong , drums are tight. RIP Munetaka.

IMO possibly the most underated classic 80s metal act. Immaculate masters of the craft. Super eclectic, they can deliver anything from a Rush-like prog flavor to classic Iron Maiden and into the dark territory metal beyond, seamlessly and flawlessly.
In The Mirror, Crazy Doctor, Like Hell, Lonely Player, and Butterfly are all fucking bangers that you won't regret reacting to.

T, Loudness is probably the most famous Japanese metal band and their guitarist, Akira Takasaki, is probably the best to come out of Japan and is a top 15 guitarist overall (Much better than Eddie Van Hahlen). Other songs you might want to hear from them include Never Change Your Mind, Exploder and Dream Fantasy (Make sure you get the version in English for that last song.) Another great Japanese metal band is EZO. You might want to check them out.

T, Loudness and X Japan were the first two Japanese metal bands to hit the U.S.A. back in the day and blew us all away. Now, they're both legendary grandfathers of rock worldwide. You can't miss with either.
