As an PCM user most of this is pretty decent criticism of the memes and everything. Although the entire flair up statements and similar statements are a form of inside jokes. I also appreciate that this wasn’t just criticism against pcm for not agreeing with the slight at this point) right majority. Or the yeah nazis and extremists that are (hopefully ) a minority of the subreddit. Anyway nice video 👍

No matter where you stand, if you look at who and what gets upvotes; it's clear to see that most far right extremists (which is growing due to this "community") have had to flee every other community and now just circlejerk from what I see as "libleft bad".
This is such a ridiculous take. Inside Out is a great movie. One of the most creative ways of showing early adolescence that I’ve seen. Pixar hasn’t been able to surpass the quality of it ever since. Other than that, the video was pretty good. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed or even chuckled at a meme from that sub.

ok so I wanted to make a video that makes unfunny political memes funny (by making them unrelated to politics as the majority of those memes is just some biased stuff) and this video explains what I don't like about these kinds of political memes quite well. when you wanna say a joke, your intention is to say something funny. however, political memes are often just statements "disguised" as jokes which in my opinion defeats the whole point of it being a joke (you could argue and say that memes aren't always jokes, but tbh whenever someone says word meme a funny piece of media is probably what almost everyone thinks of).

I've been on the sub for a while, and a lot of your points are valid. I usually sort by new, because the stuff that gets a lot of updoots is usually, as you said, lowest common denominator garbage. That being said, I disagree with a few of your points but the video overall was good. Also the unflaired thing is more of an inside joke than anything.

Do you know literally *anything* about the 1930’s German economy, I’ll give you a hint, the term ‘reprivatisation’ was coined specifically to describe what Adolf Hitler and the nazis were doing to German industry. Privatisation and reprivatisation are inherently right-wing economic ideas. I need to say: pcm is not perfect. A lot of low effort memes are made, sometimes there are deinformations and even naciz, but i have a really good time with this comunity. When you are literally anywhere, where are political memes, most people are really taking their own opinions too much seriously. This means that if you make a joke about some political ideology or something like this, the people who believe in it are going to down vote it. On pcm, noone really do that. its only comunity on internat, that is political and noone is really offended.
