I'm not sure if he got it from there, but Richard Ramirez loved satanism and read the satanic bible many times. He even met the author and read a lot of his books. The things he says sound like La Vey. And meeting him apparently ment a lot to him (I read the book by Phillip Carlo and he wrote about their meeting)
I love the personalities and chemistry on this panel. They're all so patient, measured, naturally curious, good-humored, and of course, intelligent. So often panels like these end up being talk-over contests among oversized egos, but these dudes seem genuinely interested in each others' contributions to the conversation.
That’s what I like about this as well. These four men are a great example of what a well balanced individual should be. You don’t have to tear someone down , insult them , talk over them to be superior . There is no need to be superior . It’s very refreshing to hear intelligent and respectful conversation especially during these times .
I agree! I like the way they simply respect and enjoy one another's approaches, opinions and views. The content may be dark but the analysts definitely aren't.
He went through hell as a kid. Not making excuses for him cause a lot of us had bad childhoods and we don't rape and kill. His dad used to tie him to a cross in a grave yard and his crazy cousin blew his wife's face off in front of him when he was 13. He said he gave up on love and happiness a long time ago. I believe that happened as a child. It doesn't surprise me that he turned out the way he did.
Yeah his dad was crazy too,in the book it said when the dad would lose his temper he would bang his head with something or against a wall till it bled.
@@Ac2091-x1f Yeah that is terrible. He had it bad from the start. Anyone with a fragile mind would end up homicidal, if not that then suicidal for sure. Some of these serial killers parents should have sat right next to them in prison or on their laps sitting on the electric chair.
@@bevmillard4486 I agree 100%. I don't think these killers get any kind of brain scan from a doctor when they are first caught. They only have so called "experts" talk to them and evaluate them. That's all fine and dandy but they should also be checked for brain injury or abnormalities. Way wait until they're dead to study their brains.
A Charles McKay poem I really like is; “Oh, you tears, I'm thankful that you run. Though you trickle in the darkness, You shall glitter in the sun. The rainbow could not shine if the rain refused to fall; And the eyes that cannot weep are the saddest eyes of all.”
I was living in the San Fernando Valley when he was prowling and killing people. It was a nightmare. I remember that summer was so hot and everyone was locking their windows because he would enter through them. The only thing I absolutely love about his story, is he tried to carjack a woman in a Latino neighborhood and that was the wrong thing to do. The men chased after him and started beating him. This group of Mexican Americans held him until the police arrived. LA RAZA indeed.
Ditto. I remember that summer windows closed and front doors. We had kept everything unlocked and open. I had my bed under my window and I would cry at night because I thought he was going to get me. I was 8 or 9 years old and remember that yeR so vividly.

The split screen of his face and the slow-mo of his expressions in the one segment were SO helpful! More of that, please! And I know you "aren't an editor", but that was perfect! And ignore the haters, you guys are great!
@@TheBehaviorPanel I'm late to the party on this video but I just wanted to say that I appreciate you taking the time to edit this video the way you did. It must be time consuming. Thank all you guys for having such high standards for your videos. I wish all youtube videos were of this quality.
I wish the interviewer would have asked him easy questions to gain trust and ease into harder questions. He was so abrasive. Not sure how he thought he would get anywhere like that.
I see your point, Miriam, but respectfully disagree. I think RR would have completely toyed with a reporter who went in with a lighter touch. RR didn’t trust anyone and would have only ever revealed the barest minimum of himself regardless (just enough to maintain his image) - he saw others ONLY as a means to fulfill his own needs, so it would have just played to his ego to go into the interview with a softer approach. I honestly can’t think of any modern day journalists who would have gotten much truth out of RR; Bill Kurtis maybe, who used to do extensive work for A&E. Someone like Oprah who tries to engage & be empathetic but firm would have been stonewalled by RR; he may have given someone like her a longer rant and more of his ridiculous pontifications, but I doubt those would have revealed anything he hadn’t already said. RR would have immensely enjoyed messing with a more kindly reporter sitting across the table - for example, one who played sympathetically to him would’ve end up getting manipulated big time and RR would have been gleeful about it. This reporter was wise imho to make it clear he wasn’t buying into any of RR’s bullsh*t. We know RR opened up to Detectives Salerno & Carrillo (particularly Carrillo) and I think that’s because he knew they didn’t buy his facade. Carrillo has said he quickly learned that in some ways RR was pretty simple; sex & violence were melded into one entity in his mind and that drove his crimes whether he murdered or murdered & raped. For all of RR’s ramblings, that’s what drove him. In a sense he was not complicated at all but I do find his psyche fascinating; I hate the man & the unfathomable pain he caused, but his psyche is interesting in terms of great videos like this one. I actually think the reporter in this scenario (Mike Watkiss?) was pretty ballsy & effective and I respect him for that. He was in a small closed room with RR and from every clip I have seen, RR was not shackled. Sure, there were guards right there, but we all know RR could pounce like a cat and had those monstrously huge hands that could inflict damage in a heartbeat. RR had nothing to lose by that point and I would have been terrified. RR was clearly trying to stare down Watkiss and I think it threw him when he couldn’t. Watkiss held his own and I don’t think RR expected that. As someone else has mentioned, that was also the style of journalism at the time; the era of Hard Copy & Inside Edition. Again, I mean no disrespect to you whatsoever. Just a different opinion.
I was picked to be on his jury. The judge would not let me off. He creeped me out so much, he emanated evil. I stood up in the jury box and started crying. The judge then directed the bailiff to escort me out.
@Dirk Diggler Not scared. Triggered. Kidnapped by a brilliant, insane rocket scientist rapist/killer. The case was so crazy the woman detective on the case quit her job, changed her name, and moved to a different state. I did not realize it was Ramirez at first. In good conscience I could not be unbiased.

Has anyone looked at the results of his head injuries that he suffered at a small child? How much of his condition or behavior was impacted by physical injury? He was not only tortured and abused as a child, but he was knocked unconscious as a 2 year old when furniture fell on him. What a lost sad individual. Puzzling for sure.
@@leavesongrass IDK, I think that it would be interesting to know the nature of his head injuries in conjunction with his mental health. It is a very strange case even for a psychopath
I'm learning so much from this channel, the other day a woman was murdered in Puerto Rico and her ExPartner posted a Facebook message in which he used distancing terms and I said to my husband, He did it and I explained all the points you guys cover here and how guilty people distance themselves from the actual crime. Days later it was announced by the press he was the killer. I just love this channel, sometimes it's a lot to digest but it's extremely helpful.
I appreciated how Scott put the small clips in while he was explaining the facial movements. So much easier to understand what exactly which movement he was talking about.
Nah, the psychopath stare does NOT look like a “connection” to women speaking as a woman. There is a certain “look” or stare men give when they want you. Then there’s this other look I’ve seen maybe 3 times in my life where I wanted to leave immediately. It’s almost like their eyes go black, they wont stop looking at you. And it’s this look of “attraction” to.....something, I don’t even know. Something they want to do. Not sex. Something else. Plotting. Malevolent. In a way you can’t even explain. Staring isn’t the problem. It’s the intention. The psychopath stare actually makes me feel sad.
I know the evil look you're talking about - I think it means they hate you for being female and want to destroy you because they're sexually attracted to you and think it's your fault and you're doing it on purpose to control them (that's my theory, anyway). But I think the point is that if someone is staring, they don't understand how social cues work or they don't care, and therefore they're abnormal and possibly dangerous. If someone doesn't know/doesn't care they're making you uncomfortable, what else might they do without regard for your wellbeing? Psychopath stares are creepy though, because there is usually malice behind it. My sleep disorder specialist (who's also a psychiatrist) said that when he was younger he had to do a stint working with sociopathic criminals, and he often felt actually afraid for his safety because they looked like they were about to leap over his desk and throttle him.
I have seen that look too but by a woman. I worked closely with her so after my conversations with her I felt something was not right with this woman. If I were to confront her her eyes go black and I felt she was actually staring into my soul...I changed shifts and never had to work with her again. She enjoyed playing head games too, she also had that little grin...weird lady.
@@Holly707 I feel like the eyes going black are their pupils dilating to pick up on information like the way a cat eyes dialate when they’re watching their “prey”. It’s so mf scary
@@kayleecaresyoga3350 Thank you for your interpretation because I have no clue how they do it. I think you may be right when I think back it seemed she was trying to read me and yeah, I agree, real scary.
It's the cold, nothing in there stare that creeps me tf out! The 'deadness' in the eyes..I cannot hold eye contact with those people. Recently my sister had a mental snap, beforehand I had that same creept feeling that there was a "nothingness" in her eyes, almost a sign of what was to come.
I have watched many of your videos in the evenings with my dog sleeping quietly beside me. When Ramirez' voice was broadcast, the dog came to her feet, hackles up and barking at the TV. This happened several times in the course of the video. I sent the dog out, brought her back in, replayed and moved around in the video and tested the response to his voice. Same reaction each time. The dog knows that Ramirez is dangerous even without context or understanding. I am keeping the dog because clearly she knows more than I do.
I really enjoy all the analyses in your videos but equally love how well you listen to each other and have fun. It is so clear that you chose to work with each other instead of being allocated to be a 'team'. Lots of mutual respect and more than enough trust to allow you to joke with and about each other. Reminds me of the very few really comfortable work environments I've experienced. That rapport is priceless and rare. And delightful to watch. Thank you.
I feel like any man or woman who saw this man as a sex symbol should be evaluated by a psychologist. If that doesn't scream mentally ill then idk what does. Fantasizing about a man who molested children and murdered people, that's a red flag.
There are lots of people like that, sadly- a strange attraction to the relatively safe (locked up) bad guy. So many women write to and get engaged to prisoners they've never met.
I agree that thinking him as a sex symbol is a bit much. In my own opinion I thought he was good looking (- the teeth though). Had he been a normal man (specially living in CA/LA) he had the capability of being an actor or model. I just can’t believe people would go as far as still wanting him though or marry him after knowing all of the evil he has done.
Love when Bowden hits us with the mythology, the arts, Jung, philosophy, reflecting out human psyche since the dawn of man. We all inherently know on a base level what Ramirez is, Mark helps us put into words what we already know.
You guys didn't analyze the most important part of the interview, when he says "I never cared for anyone. I never even cared what happened to me, really". I 100% believe him in that part. He seemed Genuine, and actually for a split second vulnerable.
On the HLN program How It Really Happened-TheNight Stalker his childhood friend said he asked Richard why did he do what he did? He said he got to the the point where he did not care about anyone or anything not even himself. He is someone you feel both revulsion and sorrow.
@@moonsiemeda5054 Thanks I'll have to look that up, but still in the very interview they are analyzing here Ramirez says "I never cared for anyone, and Never for myself really" these Professors should have included that part and Diagnosed it, it is the only time in any interview i've seen where he seems completely genuine, would have been benficial for them to analyze that in this one hour and sixteen minute analysis.. just my Humble..
@@lisa408t they described his intentions/ deceptions/ Reactions throughout the interview except for that key question, and response. Would have been great to get their takes on that seemingly genuine response. To me it seemed to be his only genuine response, that instant is where you see the damage he has in him, that likely fueled the damage he did to all the victims.. I've seen a few interviews where he is just performing the entire time, that instant where he says "I never cared for anyone, or what happens to me, I never did really.." was the most vulnerable by far he ever reacted, it would have been helpful to get their analysis on it.. for they covered everything else..
Remotes had 2 sons. Both ended up in the system as teens. I knew one. At 16 he was not a bad kid, nothing like his father. He was there because he had been in fights at school, likely because who his father was. He lived with an aunt( his mother was in jail I believe), once his aunt’s neighbors realized who he was, she was forced to move him out, landing him in the foster care system. This was at the time Remirez wanted “ custody “ , the ability to make decisions for his sons. I’m sure that chilled and confused his son. His son came up to me during that time and asked me “ do you know who my father is “. He was looking for my reaction, fear? disgust? acceptance? My response was a simple “ you are not him”. I hope this young man was able to overcome the legacy his father left him with. He deserved so much better.

The big smile when the interviewer jumps is his love of fear in others. I think that’s the last look his victims saw He didn’t give up on love he loves fear
s zade What I’m trying to figure out is if he’s psychopath, how come he displayed emotions. I ask this because if you read the book “The night stalker” by Philip Carlo, he said that when the sister went to Richard after he was found guilt, he broke down and started crying. That being said, I don’t think he had absolutely 0 emotions. All of this is just so weird.
@@michaelmarlonbestbae6078 Psychopaths DO HAVE emotions, the thing is that they're unable to feel empathy or remorse, they cannot really emotionally connect with others, are very narcissistic and cold headed, they experience fear in very low levels and get easily bored, so that's why some of them kill for the thrills. Some of them are master manipulators and are capable of successfully faking love, empathy, sadness, etc. to get what they want, they can cry on cue, for example. Despite everything I just wrote, yes, they experience some emotions but not in the way most people do.
@@michaelmarlonbestbae6078 he isnt a psychopath. Psychopaths have no emotions because they have brain absormalities. After they did a brain scan on him he didnt have any. Mark at the end is quoting BBC Crimewatch which concluded every week: "Don't have nightmares, sleep well" Good advice. People like Ramirez are vanishingly rare. Greg's disgust is palpable, and that from a man who has obviously seen a lot of the worst of human nature.
There was SO much helpful in this video: 1) Mark's suggestion to look up hannya was amazing and so accurate. He looks exactly like it. 2) Scott's visual aid by covering half of Ramirez's face did help me recognize the two different expressions. I suck at doing it on my own. 3) I cannot love it more that Scott loves cat videos. 😻 The feral cat reference was hilarious.

What’s interesting to me about Richard is how insecure he obviously is. I know narcissism stems from internal insecurity, but with Ted bundy and killers like him you don’t really see the insecurity that you know is there. With Richard, it’s all over him. It almost feels like he built himself into a killer based only on his extreme insecurity with not ever feeling accepted. I think he behaves smugly because he never felt loved, so it’s almost like a “I’ll stick it to them by being the outcast society had already deemed me to be”. He doesn’t feel like a natural killer despite his actions, he feels almost like a poser.
THIS. I think he saw murder as the only way to achieve notoriety/infamy (he claimed he was reading about serial killers since he was a child) I don't think he had the where-withal or the confidence to achieve it another way. The sad and unfortunate thing he achieved it at the expense of our fellow citizens who did nothing to him.
There could have been something like that going on in his head. I'm sure he felt rejected by society. I think it may be that his main problem was that he found doing these things to people sexually arousing.
Yes...and he killed people at their most vulnerable ..asleep! And attacked elderly women/children,etc...clearly he was a coward...and when he was caught...mentioned IF he had a pistol, that crowd wouldn't have felt so brave...yet they beat & chased a man they felt to be a killer & a very dangerous man... he was a total coward!

Normally true crime doesn't bother me at all and I can sleep. But dang. Something about this guy just speaks to evil.
those split screen views of his face are mind blowing. I have always been fascinated by Richard Ramirez because I lived in Los Angeles during this time. Please can you do a questions and answers session for subscribers where we post questions in the comments section? Thanks for another great video. I reckon it will attract even more viewers who are interested in this.
when he said that I wanted to burst out laughing because it's like driving up to a drive-thru and instead of just ordering a meal, reciting literature to the staff instead...
“ this is what a psychopath looks like when he tries to act like a psychopath” you see the problem there is that if someone is truly something they don’t need to “try to act themselves” meaning it’s a lie or an act meaning not sincere so either he’s a psychopath or he isn’t.
Yes, serial killers are punished but Governments kill in wars and that makes it legal; that is the difference. Some believe the Government were involved in a lot of the serial murders too.
@@mollyoxy morality is subjective. Laws r based on the predominant cultural morality of the times. But even that changes. Blacks were legally slaves at one time and women couldn't vote and we're essentially second class citizens at one time. I'm talking about the USA of course.
You guys are seriously Awesome! It's my birthday today and I was so excited to wake up this morning see this upload - Best birthday present ever. Thanks so much.
Scott and Greg are spot on! IHad a relationship with a narcissist. When you meet someone and everything seems too good to be true that’s a red flag. A big red flag
I find it interesting when you guys compared Richard to a middle school kid. I teach in a middle school and definitely see some of his behaviors in our students, especially duper’s delight. I love working with this age group, but boy some of them think they are the best thing since sliced bread. Thank God 99.99999% of them do not turn out to be serial killers.
Amen. Alot of them use their circumstances to justify their behavior which is not good enough. I was severely abused. I was bullied (and still am to this day) and though I have my moments where I feel like I want those others to just go to hell, I don't ever think being cruel to them will change a thing or make them feel what I feel. Nothing will. I just want them to leave me alone and that's all there is to it. Anything beyond that in terms of any kind of harm is something they were born with that most of us cannot understand.
With regard to Richard's statement that "I gave up on love and happiness a long time ago", I find it fascinating that absolutely no one asked him that question. He just blurted it out. It was like those desperately earnest people, who you just met, who dump their entire private life onto you, out of cintext making it weird. Hes obviously an attention seeking damaged person.
I think it was something he heard and was repeating it. He did that a lot. He had many excuses for his rage. I've heard that phrase before. He is the creepiest out of all of the psychopaths.
Every Thursday (or sometimes Wednesday 😂) I get notification around midnight (because of the time difference)... every Friday (sometimes Thursday) it’s a struggle to get up for work, but it’s all worth it! Thank you guys🙂
What I would like is for you guys to show a quick snapshot of the interviewee when you describe something. Such as flashback to Richard Ramirez showing Duper’s delight. That would be really helpful to see it in real time as you say it. Thanks. Also have y’all done Susan Smith?
As someone who has spent nearly 20yrs in the service. I am picking up many things these men are ignoring. This man is terrifying. His lack of education is only the beginning of what makes him so threatening.
Hi Jo, what sort of things did you notice? I noticed that he appears to be very immature, smiling like a naughty child when he’s asked why did he do it, which I guess most criminals have - the inability to assume responsibility for one’s actions or having any awareness of others. I couldn’t see The stare in one eye that Scott talked about, when he was talking about the asymmetry (which we all have) - do you know which side he was talking about?
@The Behavior Panel I absolutely love the rapport, comraderie, mutual respect, pranks, and fun you have with each other! It's contagious, and one of the main reasons I watch! It draws me in; I feel part of a close group of friends or family. And, I learn cool stuff too. 😁 Thank you for being real, genuine, and vulnerable.
I haven't yet watched this video. it's just starting. I lived in So. California when Ramirez was known only as The Night Stalker. I visited the library earlier in the day, in the neighborhood where he attacked in mission Viejo. I remember very well how terrifying it was. We literally almost never locked out doors, and again after he was caught, there were times we stopped locking them again. We used window locks to be able to have our windows open just enough for fresh air, without allowing anyone to get in. I remember crying with relief when he was caught, and even didn't blame the people who beat him while waiting for the cops... Truly a terrifying time. On with the video, in a new light this time. Thanks gentlemen, for covering this.
My Abuse ex, that I still have a DVPO against (that the judge recently renewed for 5 years, versus the usual one), had that stare. It's truly frightening when somebody looks at you like that in person. It's like their eyes almost change.
Conversation (or introspection) aren't Ramirez's metier, he is animalistic. His early experience of life has distilled him down to a simple killing machine. He doesn't really pretend to understand his motives, nor does he care. What oozes from him is the unadulterated joy his actions brought him. Ted Bundy s interviews show exactly the same glee, but in his case just veneered over with cleverer manipulation. Ramirez truly believes everyone is a 'held back' killer because he hasn't any empathy or imagination to give him insight into anyone else's internal life. He is an emotional black hole and this enabled him to act without restraint or remorse. Only by getting two psychopathic killers to interview each other could you perhaps gain insight because 'normal' interviewers' revulsion overrides their desire to hear or understand the truth. I can see Ramirez would just love to tell us all the grisly details of his crimes, just don't expect his feelings to come into it, he told the truth when he said he had none.
Chase comin in and KILLIN the looks. A few episodes ago he came in looking like a college hipster, and now a sun kissed California DADDY. Can I get an amen?

I'm not sure if he got it from there, but Richard Ramirez loved satanism and read the satanic bible many times. He even met the author and read a lot of his books. The things he says sound like La Vey. And meeting him apparently ment a lot to him (I read the book by Phillip Carlo and he wrote about their meeting)
I would love to order the mug, but I don’t get why Chase and Mark are in the wrong corners there...?
Could you do something about ED kemper or about one president?
I love the personalities and chemistry on this panel. They're all so patient, measured, naturally curious, good-humored, and of course, intelligent. So often panels like these end up being talk-over contests among oversized egos, but these dudes seem genuinely interested in each others' contributions to the conversation.
Agree with you . They are restrained and so easy to listen too
They have been dubbed The Fab Four🌟🌟🌟🌟
That’s what I like about this as well. These four men are a great example of what a well balanced individual should be. You don’t have to tear someone down , insult them , talk over them to be superior . There is no need to be superior . It’s very refreshing to hear intelligent and respectful conversation especially during these times .
I agree! I like the way they simply respect and enjoy one another's approaches, opinions and views. The content may be dark but the analysts definitely aren't.
Very well said, I completely agree!
As a child he had several head injuries, concussions. That’s also a huge factor on his madness.
@@judibooty2091 Right. Many serial killers have a history of head trauma of some kind. That could very well play a part in their behavior.
There was joy in his face. He knew he didn't kill 15 people, he killed more. And he seemed happy to be able to say this.

A Charles McKay poem I really like is;
“Oh, you tears,
I'm thankful that you run.
Though you trickle in the darkness,
You shall glitter in the sun.
The rainbow could not shine if the rain refused to fall;
And the eyes that cannot weep are the saddest eyes of all.”
Lovely poem and so true

@@TheBehaviorPanel That was so uncanny. Why does his face look so different on each side? What is that called?
“It would be improper …” I’m glad he’s so moral all of a sudden!
I wish the interviewer would have asked him easy questions to gain trust and ease into harder questions. He was so abrasive. Not sure how he thought he would get anywhere like that.
He's also playing to his audience, and wants to be seen as a tough interviewer.
This is what journalism/interviews used to look like. Hard hitting questions almost immediately.

Yes, totally agree.

I have watched many of your videos in the evenings with my dog sleeping quietly beside me. When Ramirez' voice was broadcast, the dog came to her feet, hackles up and barking at the TV. Greg Hartley has commented numerous times in your videos that if you meet someone who makes you feel really good it should be a red flag... Id like to hear him expand on that
Oh Mark, you are such a kind soul for reassuring us in your last comment.
Great dive on him. He was one of the scariest looking creatures in the world. Those eyes. Definitely one of the worst. I was a teen in LA we were all terrified by him. He’s definitely in the collective consciousness. “Duper’s delight.” YES “Self-amused broken toy.” Good one. “Too weird to know he doesn’t need to act weird.”

Thanks for the upload.
These men work well together, I like this show
They do seem to harmonize quite well, and with so much respect for one another. It's commendable.
I was in California visiting my grandmother when this serial killer was on the loose. My grandmother had bars installed on the outside of all of her windows she was so terrified. She lived alone at the time. I thoroughly enjoyed this video, really appreciate the work and free education. Thank you
Aww bless her heart, she must've been terrified 😖❤
Mark at the end is quoting BBC Crimewatch which concluded every week:
"Don't have nightmares, sleep well"
Good advice. People like Ramirez are vanishingly rare. Greg's disgust is palpable, and that from a man who has obviously seen a lot of the worst of human nature.
I can’t recall life before this channel
Lol!
Me either, lol
Same!
You went to bottom right with your eyes.. big red flag for an interrogator. I would focus on on 'can't recall' it's hiding time.
Hahaha! Thanks TABB!
There was SO much helpful in this video:
1) Mark's suggestion to look up hannya was amazing and so accurate. He looks exactly like it.
2) Scott's visual aid by covering half of Ramirez's face did help me recognize the two different expressions. I suck at doing it on my own.
3) I cannot love it more that Scott loves cat videos. 😻 The feral cat reference was hilarious.
Hi Krysta, yes, I also looked up the Hannya mask - as you say, amazing similarity, like the ‘tortured artist’
The split screen of his face is a brilliant visual. I can't believe how one side of the face can be so different to the other - as if they cannot possibly fit together, but they do!!! Incredible 😲
Time stamp?
Watching Chase’s reactions to anything Mark says is the best .

My brother is a psychopath. After years of him abusing me, I grew to know: never trust a charming person. Nobody is thst great, and if they are, they're up to something.
@@annamariam1077 he was 5yrs older than me. The abuse really picked up when my parents separated and we lived mostly with my mother. I was 12, he was 17/18. From 12- 16 he beat me, screamed at me, trashed my room, stole money from me, rubbed beer bottles on my face and tried to get me to do drugs. The worst was he tried to kill me. His excuse was, and I quote, "mom and dad made me a nerd." He beat my mother too. My father did nothing to help as he was afraid of him. Things came to a head when he threatened to bomb our house. My mother's bf at the time threw him onto the ground and sat on him until cops arrived. My mother still makes excuses for him. "He was an angry teenager ." Ummm, no, for most of it he was an ADULT. she would say, "his father wasn't around." ..... we have the same father, and im not a psychopath.
He never apologized. He doesn't attempt to have any relationship with me. He calls his 4yo AUTISTIC son names. He hasn't changed, despite my mothers claims otherwise.
Oh and a few years ago, he was mad at my father. So he went on a rampage and took an ax to my father's chickens. He killed half, left some half alive.

He has emotions. he is saying to hell with emotions. He owns his psychopathy to belong to a "gang" exclusive group. But he is a broken human and has been all of his life. evil is a his armor.
Agreed...I’ve never believed the psychopathic idea. Humans can go from light to the dark in a spectrum at all times. This dude was at his darkest moment. So sad. He was right about one thing. He is a product of his society . We’re pretty broken as a species. 😞
Yes 100% agree. The misery he meeted out was his cry for help, but also his middle finger to the world. Probably a highly insecure person whos self loathing freed himself from his conscious, which led to violent acts which created some significance within himself.
@@rockinroberta9925 You are not 100% correct. Personality disorders are partially due to genetics and how the xhild was raised. Ramirez was considered by many psychologists to be a pure psychopath. Which means he fit all but two of the criteria needed in bith factor A and Factor B pychopathology. This guy had no remorse, no real fear, little to no empathy, he was impulsive, etc. He broke the mold of what psychologists believed a serial killer was. @@camillahunt3247 I believe what you were trying to say at the end of your comment is that Richard broke the macdonald triad which Ted Bundy broke and he gave psychologists a different, more complex perception of what a serial killer should be. They pretty much covered everything about serial killers except that no one knows till this day if it's nurture or nature (are they born or made evil).
You make a valid point but it's still no excuse for what he's done. Let's not sympathize with people who killed, raped and tortured innocents because they "felt" like it. He's not the only one with the problematic past, he simply chose to kill and he deserved even worse than what's came to him. Also let's not put Ramirez and "emotions" in the same sentence..

@@moonsiemeda5054 i agree, i think he also thought that it was the only way to achieve pleasure too

I watched a doc about him and had intense nightmares about him for a long time after. His face, demeanor, and of course the horrible acts he committed just seared into my subconscious. Normally true crime doesn't bother me at all and I can sleep. But dang. Something about this guy just speaks to evil.
those split screen views of his face are mind blowing. I have always been fascinated by Richard Ramirez because I lived in Los Angeles during this time. I remember vividly the nights we were in early with doors and windows locked. 30 years later i have watched docs and learned more about him. He is the only serial killer I kind of feel a bit sorry for honestly. I am in no way condoning his actions as he terrifies me but I do see a hurt person inside and with this video I am seeing some very interesting things as evidenced with the two sided face. Very good video.
I see a hurt person inside people like The Iceman to Amber Heard but I keep my sympathy for victims of these people
It is alright to feel sympathy for who ever. It is fine to feel whatever we feel, or not care for something if we don't. People keep on apologising for their feelings because of significant others that can not accept we are all different.

That's a cry for help albeit a little too late to me. If only somebody anybody showed him love than again, what's done is done and cannot be undone.

We used window locks to be able to have our windows open just enough for fresh air, without allowing anyone to get in.

its the eyes of sociopath
