The last tip is sooooo important. I’ve already been doing this for awhile and I can see how much my content has progressed already. It also helps so much with sound problems. Gotta do those other steps now!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'll be back in the broadcast chair tomorrow as usual! Celebrating breaking 2 million views and 50,000 subscribers this time tomorrow! Thanks for the support you legend! #earlygang!
Idk if I’m biased but I really enjoy my content 😅 I love writing down stuff I’ve been doing wrong and looking to improve. It’s one of the ways I improved my mic quality, camera quality etc. Can’t wait to keep improving 😊 Happy streaming everyone!
@@StreamScheme It certainly is a lot easier with your top of the line tutorials eljay :D From the bottom of my heart I'd like to thank you for all the improvements you've helped my to make ❤❤❤
Good stuff as always. Thank you for the advice. I'm glad you mentioned thinking a big raid will make you a star and how that's just a fantasy. Big raids are great. I average 5 viewers, sometimes getting up to 12 or 13 playing Mario Maker 2. Once PangaeaPanga raided me for about 500 viewers. Did I get 500 new fans? No. I got about 20 new followers and a few new regulars. I consider these numbers a success. A much bigger streamer gave his audience a glimpse at me and a few started watching. That's the value of raids.
I'm a lil music producer, and I must tell you something that I learned since I started making songs (almost 7 years now). *If you think that you're on your highest - you're not! You just started to float. Don't let your limits stop you, because you will be better and better.*
@@mkirbymusic I did not start streaming yet, but I want to. My analytics told me that for 99.99% I will start from 0 viewers, so I'd like to learn about Twitch etc. And what about you? ☺️
@@GLODZIO I have done a few streams over the past 4 months but haven't committed yet. Since I'm already growing my content on TH-cam, I'm leaning towards using Twitch since I can bring a few viewers over from my TH-cam channel already. I have streamed on YT and on Twitch with about the same amount of unique viewers coming by to check it out. However the few times on Twitch I haven't had any chatters but TH-cam I did each time.
Watching back my own content has been HUGE in spotting problems/highlighting good things I do. I think it’s one of the best ways to really gauge how entertaining you are right now, and can give you good ideas to grow as an entertainer. Anyway, have a good one man! Thanks for the vids!
I love how you can tackle a topic and explain how to overcome challenges. Your can-do attitude is truly inspiring and motivating in comparison to other videos that say, "this is why you will never make it as a streamer."
Damn, that magic question is seriously what I've thought for a long time and I'm trying to get to the point where I would really enjoy my own content I'm just not too good at planning yet but I feel I'm getting better
This channel has helped me so much and it really feels like a weekly meeting I need to have with myself on keeping my content fun and enjoyable not just for chat, but myself. Raids aren't really the key to success, it is you as the creator building a fun environment and community that people want to take part in. Out of every 10 follows I get on twitch, 1 is usually likely to stick around and come back every stream. Work on building the community one person at a time, from there, it can only get better.
The last sentense is absolutely epic: Even if you fail a few times... Every step you take towards making good content is just making you better creator. - Resonates with me man. I got a lot of work in front of me. Thanks for great advices!
Dude, I've been watching your videos for the last two weeks....a million thanks to you for your content!! I just decided a few weeks ago, that I was going to start streaming live music on Twitch and I have never done such a thing before (i play in bars and hotels and such, but livestreaming? Nah)... it's forced me to learn incredible things and you have been so helpful in the clarity of my vision for my channel, I've streamed a few times, but still learning how to navigate Twitch properly. Just needed to say a huge thank you for the A+ advice. You're great!
After my streams I take 20 minute break and then I sit down and watch my stream replay over and over. I’ve been slowly adjusting settings and how I interact with the chat. 100% correct Eljay. (Coming from a streamer with 0-5 viewers lol.)
just yesterday I streamed a game that wasn’t oversaturated for the first time, and gained 7 followers in one stream to reach affiliate on twitch! Although I’ve been watching your videos and have known for a while that I shouldn’t be playing valorant or overwatch for stream growth, I never tried a different game because I didn’t think I would enjoy it. All it took was one stream and a few new chatters for a new world to open itself up to my streaming career! Thank you!!!
The last advice is the best advice. The more I watch my videos the less things like: listening to my own voice or looking at my own face makes me uncomortable. Now that I am used to it I can be more appropriately critical of my stream and just listen and watch for improvements. great video as always!
So I end every stream with “Make it a climb not a grind”. Thank you for giving us the ladder that we need. This channel is one of three that I always recommend for people to start figuring out streaming.
Love it! I really dislike the word grind! I feel it teaches people not to reflect and just repeat the same things! Glad the video is helpful as well, it means a lot! #earlygang
As somebody who's been watching julien since his vlogging days, can definitely say your respect for the craft shows. Man loves his cameras and production. His community started trickling in from the dink fam initially and they're an amazing bunch of people.
*Watches 'till the end to get the promised tip* I KNEW IT! I actually learned fairly early on to watch myself back in whatever sort of performance I was doing (if at all possible). My Drama teacher in high school insisted that we watch our own performances to be able to see where we could improve, what worked and what didn't, what line sounded flat and unfeeling and which one was full of emotion. Watching it allowed us to remember what we were feeling (emotionally, bodily, etc) and adjust accordingly. I know it's said not to upload vods to TH-cam, but I do so. I do very small edits, if necessary, and cut them up into chunks for upload simply because I know that Twitch will NOT keep the vod up for very long. That being said, I often wind up super distracted while editing and missing the point where I was planning on cutting because I'm watching my own stream and got sucked in XD
Not self promoting or gonna link but I’ve just been watching your videos. Been following your advice and posted my first TH-cam video. I feel like you and a few other creators in your niche gave me the confidence to press the upload button.
Glad to get even the tiniest bit of credit but honestly, it is entirely you and your own hard work! You did all of it, and you should credit yourself before anyone else! :)
I'm not sure how often you get this, but I absolutely love the process of going back through my past recordings and edit them. The ability to look back at your own content and self reflect as well as learning how to improve is very rewarding in itself.
I have been streaming for just over 2 months, and have now got my own emotes, i have loved meeting new people and always want them to feel welcome. Your videos are always a solid watch and i appreciate the time it must take for you to get these together!
That point at the end is spot on! I HATE the sound of my own voice, but I watch my streams (just as I used to re-listen to my old radio show) to see what works and what needs work. I DO have a feeling my next stream is gonna be good, or at least entertaining - as long as Twitch doesn't block the audio.
I believe you have a good kind soul at your core. You are so helpful to so many it really says a lot about you as a real person. Not just an internet personality. That's why I enjoy your content! You fucking rock. Thanks for the help!
This video spoke to me on a intimate level. The last part, the way you talked into the camera directly to your audience with such confidence and such trust in them, in us... man, it helps. It was like being understood. I felt like that. Thank you very much for you advices, and in general for your videos. I'm a (very) beginner on Twitch and despite being very far from you (I'm Italian), I find your contents so helpful. I know i'm trying my best, and despite my past if I'm being able to do it, to find the force to try to improve, it's also thanks to you. I wish you the best, man. I'll keep coming back on this channel, for the content and your company. And, again, thanks.
Was just streaming for 5 hours, but got 1 follower out of it! I've seen your videos and I think they really do help, I was kind of in the dark about what game I should play, my audio, looking back and learning from VODs, as I was mainly just doing streaming as a hobby. But now that I've seen some of your videos and learned from them, you give me the confidence that this streaming hobby of mine can grow and hopefully reach to others! Knowing that if I work smart enough, I can earn money while making people happy and doing what I love, makes me happy too! P.S. I really just started streaming because I thought, "Hey, I play games and have some youtube experience, why not try it out?"
I know it's a late comment, but I love how you say things as they are. you try your best not to sugar coat things, and even when you do say things harshly, you follow up with a confidence-booster. You weren't harsh of anything in this video, but at the end you've really boosted my confidence, which lowered because I've been worried about a plateau. Thank you for your awesome videos and advice, I wouldn't be even a fourth of the beginner streamer I am today without you. Thank you.
I find it hard to actually 'enjoy' my own content when watching it back for review, but that's mostly just due to having an abnormally strong dislike of the sound of my own voice. I think a lot of people don't really like to hear themselves talk, but it just gets to me more than most people I know. I do find the antics and shenanigans I get up to amusing and entertaining, though. In general, though, this was all helpful advice, especially that little pep talk at the end. Very much appreciated, thank you for sharing.
Your advice has gained me from 0 followers to me getting 9 viewers and 7 followers in three days of starting. Honestly thank you so much for this advice I never thought I'd have so much fun interacting with the chat they were constantly asking me questions and talking with each other
Great tips! Most of all, love your honesty tempered with the positive message. It hits hard, but it doesn't make you feel bad it helps get you rolling. Very well done. And yes, I was making notes and lists!
I recently reached affiliate and watched this to pick up tips to better myself as I grow because I love your content man, your tips and advice are without doubt one of the reasons I was able to reach affiliate. After watching this video I am pleasantly surprised to realise that I am doing all of these things already and that is an encouraging epiphany for me. The value I got from this video was your first point on what types of content there are because my goal has always been to create content that makes people laugh and escapism for whatever trials and tribulations they are going through in their life but I was not sure if that counted as a type of content until this video. Most importantly though I am someone who has constantly been told throughout my life that I will never achieve my goals because I am fat (true) with frizzy hair (true) and wear glasses (true), so no matter how good I am at content creation I will never make a career out of it. It took time but I have finally realised that all of that stuff should not stop me persuing my dreams and if I make it inspite of that, well then it will just be all the more fulfilling for me. So that is a subtext to my content, I want people to be able to watch me, see my flaws but also see how I do not dwell on them, I do not let them define me and, hopefully in the future, that I achieved my goals inspite of them. As I said I have just reached affiliate and it goes to show that good content does will out. I love your work man and can not wait to see more.
been watching these videos all day and I gotta say, this info is all really useful!!! I just hit Twitch Affiliate a couple days ago and growing from here is posing to be a real challenge. I really appreciate these videos helping small creators out!
Saw it coming a mile away and you are absolutely correct. There are obviously many more variables to consider but this is literally the most important one
Thank you! Right now I can't stream because I moved to a house with .25 upload speed and no upgrades as of right now, but I'm still watching your vids for when I come back. When I did stream you helped so much. The only thing I fear is when I come back to streaming, I feel like my community won't be there. Again, thank you for making videos!
I don't always enjoy my own content but I do enjoy a majority of it, I'm still pushing to improve it and help myself grow, I'm growing slowly but steadily and that's great for me, I love streaming and I wanna do as much as I can, I'm still really happy with what I've achieved so far, heck to be honest when I first for Affiliate that felt like such a big triumph, I know its not much but it meant a lot to me, and I know with enough work it'll only get better! Watched through quite a few of these guides and they've all be really helpful!
I've been going through videos like these quite a bit in the past month and have gotten quite inspired in ways to improve my content. Since the start of 2021 I've been wanting to improve my streaming content, so by means of your videos (and some others) I've been working on concrete, small steps to do so. Be it from creating a schedule and trying to stick with it, improving my audio quality by getting a proper mic and solidifying the direction I want to go content-wise (and I still have a way to go when it comes to casual gameplay, I've never really dabbled into that before). And from there, scripting and working towards my first bit of proper TH-cam content. It'll be an interesting road to travel, but thanks for the videos you've put out so far! They've been a great help :)
Damn, this was a good video, been watching a lot of these as of late, one thing I do want to mention that helped me hit affiliate (It took me about two weeks from my first stream) is knowing other streamers that are willing to help. I was in their streams a few times and every time it popped off a bit as I have a very hyper personality I can use when on camera, so when I was finally able to stream myself (stupid AUS internet had to be upgraded a bit) everyone I had been with for a stream before was super hyped. I will admit I have a bit of a TH-cam audience as well but knowing other streamers helped me A LOT! Anyways, thanks for all the brilliant videos, they have provided an endless amount of help with either teaching me something new or confirming a practice I already do is a good one to continue.
I love your videos, I’ve been streaming for close to 2 years now and am just now seeing some growth. I strive on improvement and your videos seriously motivate me like no other. Thank you!
I've watched one of my biggest TH-cam projects (which is an hour long) 6 times. I still love watching that video I made because it's so cool! I need to remember to always talk in the beginning of my streams and I think my streams will be way better.
thanks for the last tip. it is something i have been doing for myself but unfortunately every time i watch myself and see my mistakes; i tend to repeat the same mistakes although i have written down what my mistakes are. mostly dead air and sometimes going into what people call "gamer" mode.
This channel really does help alot i went from 0-50 followers in like 6 months im currently at 68 with not that fast growth and i get like 1-2 people who come back once in a while!!! thanks man
The ending is great advice. It's fine to draw inspiration but you gotta be yourself and be willing to think critically of your own content. Just looked over my last stream and saw how nervous I tend to get. Definitely gonna use that tip to keep improving and try to relax. Also helped me notice how my mic is pretty far away and makes that empty room sound, simple stuff like moving it closer and retweaking the settings goes a long way. Thanks dude!
really loving your videos must say i feel I'm doing pretty well but I'm watching as many tips and tricks videos as I can and listening to the advice trying to improve! focusing on my Audio as much as i can with what i have to work with as i think audio is probably the most important! Also trying to make sure i don't miss people in chat especially new people, been streaming about 5 months and hoping to hit affiliate over the next week must say you videos are awesome and so helpful! im trying to be as engaging with people and also try to help them with the game as much as i can!
After using your tips I've gone from 0 to 41 followers and 0 to 6 average viewers in only 8 streams! Thank you SO MUCH Eljay I'm having a blast streaming!
thank you for all your videos ive watched them all since i found you, i started streaming in october, got affiliated a month later. and now to my shock i have over 150 fallowers and a few subs! like holy moly, THANK YOU for your videos they have been massively helpful. i know i have a LONG way to go, but i strive to be the best me online, honest and fun, a safe place for others to just relax and have fun. Please keep up your amazing work. PixelPrincessCleo xxx
This has helped and kinda motivated me to watch back my stream vods. Maybe that's what will help, I do watch it but sometimes I get busy and seems like if I want to grow, need to make time for my streams and really see the flaws. Thanks for the advice
Really insightful tips. And also another reminder to really plan out my streams a bit more than just the topic. ... I also loved that little 'video idea' hint thrown in there. Inspired by watching you play Valheim, I was just contemplating the other day about starting another channel for game guides.
Check out my video on TH-cam Growth! It covers A HUGE amount of the creation and growth process on that front :) Glad the video was helpful, thanks for the kind words!
This was exactly the type of video I needed right now Been struggeling a lot with how to make my content better, these tips should definitely help! Thanks Eljay, always an inspiration
The more I think about it, the more profound it becomes to me. I guess I've really struggled with what to do to make my streams entertaining, but I think I already know that I wouldn't last very long rewatching my streams. I'm going to be doing some serious planning. Thank you so much Eljay!
I really appreciate the kind words, I hope I can continue helping :) Do you mind if I screenshot this to tweet? I've had people comment and say the final tip was "obvious" or a "cop out" and I was hoping to show to some that just because they do it or don't believe in it doesn't mean it isn't helpful for the majority of people. I'll blur your name entirely of course.
Honestly I started streaming almost 3 weeks ago, and your content has helped me a LOT! I've somehow already hit affiliate and I honestly want to give some of that credit to you. Because without YOUR content, I would be like a fish out of water.
Hey Eljay my five streamers are nickeh 30, sypher pk, deyy, vanity, and Ron (stable Ronaldo) When i overview my streams I feel entertained with my self but I don’t have tons of people to socialize with. I have a hard schedule but I have figure out I need to add a on point schedule and add more quilts in my camera and widgets. Thank you so much for these tips and I will use these. I’m going to come back when I have put these into aspect.
This video does make sense; I know that I’ve been recording my streams then editing them to upload to YT. I know there are sections within my stream I sit there and go ‘WTF am I doing’ and other times when I’m streaming to ZERO viewers that I have reactions to things and I’m like that’s ‘good’ content - Twitch has become very saturated I feel in the last 12mths; I’ve seen streamers that have started 3-6mths after I did crack that 5k followers in next to know time and yet I’m still struggling to hit 400 and we both produce the same kind of content; I sit through hours and hours of twitch streams and the YT videos just like this one. I am constantly adjusting and I stream varies games and yet struggling to break that 1-3 viewer cycle, I might get ‘lucky’ and be raided by another small streamer, get a couple of followers from that then have them hang around for a little bit to then them to go. LUCK has a lot to do with Twitch I feel but I guess I’ll just keep doing me and slowly adjusting and try get good content
Was able to drop into a stream of yours earlier today. Love you engagement and saw a lot of what you talk about on here coming through in the stream. These videos are great, thank you for making them!
So many of these videos have been exactly what I need - I've got my Uni dissertation coming up soon and the plan is to use twitch to deliver it, then who know what happens after that! I've done a couple of streams and have really enjoyed it!
I got 40 live views, 2avg views, 4 followers, 5 unique chatters, 20 unique viewers and 7 max live viewers on my 7th stream thanks to you and a few others but mainly you. :)
Thanks for the tutorial man, last video you posted I was douting my stream but now I have gotten a few more viewers giving me people to talk to when I'm live and I love it, even just 1 or 2 people joining my streams makes me super talkative, time to put these steps into use aswell 👍
listen to this man and pay attention...he speaks the truth....ever since I have started watching him and applying these teqniques stream has grown....most important be yourself and watch your content and always be critiquing yourself...most importantly keep goin thank you for these videos my dude!
Love your videos man I just started getting sorta serious on the twitch streaming the past couple weeks. It's mostly out of hobby on top of gaming but your videos have helped alot with the way I think about it every time I go live.
Thanks for this video, it's exactly what I needed right now. I've mostly been working on being more comfortable on stream mainly having friends and family help keep my average up. Being given a actionable set of steps I can work on will really help.
Thanks for the video eljay! Do you have any advice for when you should be switching between planned content which is designed to be entertaining without chat, and talking to your viewers? I find sometimes having a great conversation with my viewers can really help my stream and get everyone involved but once the conversation comes to a natural end I sometimes feel lost as to how to transition back to what I was doing or into a different conversation
I'm not sure if you've covered a video on the particular topic however, you also have good verbal technique which you may want to do a video on. you continually remind people in your videos that a super helpful tip is coming up but you'll also throw other pieces in as either quality or filler content. The same technique can be applied in twitch streaming as well if someone pays attention. especially as you get bigger when people start doing random giveaways in their stream it keeps people enticed that they might win the giveaway. Also a trend that is becoming much larger in the twitch community is finding other streamers you like especially if they're small or mid-level streamers and you raid them allowing your followers to see content that you may find interesting. some people think of it as trying to give away their followers however, I would pick things that you find interesting but are not necessarily in the same field as your own content.
It's called Looping! Open ended loops are the KEY to retention rate! I cover it in a video I have about TH-cam growth but maybe an entire video could go well! "How To Keep People Watching" maybe? Thanks for the tips as well! :) #earlygang!
You know just last week I posted to reddit asking about planing streams and I was looking for information. I didn't just want to hit "go live" and wing it anymore. I got nothing. So thank you very much for this it's just what I needed to start improving my streams. I really think this is the most important part about streaming well audio then this.
Hey I am glad! I have another video all about keeping yourself talking which is secretly about planning your streams but wrapped for a wider audience, it is worth a look!
@@StreamScheme that's awesome! I do really fine with talking but I feel like I have no direction. This really helped me hone in on that. BTW I have been watching these videos since I started streaming and they way your stream has evolved over that time is just amazing man. It's really cool to see were you came from and how you are now. You didn't just get up one day and were amazing at it. You worked and grew. It's just nice.
Dude you are great I have been using so many of your tips for my streams and I feel like they all work. I have been pushing forward and trying new things to see if they stick and make the live streams better every day. You are an inspiration and keep up the good work!
Not the first time hes done that XD he did that not too long ago with his "how to plan a stream" video it was kinda creepy honestly but I just put it down as coincidence 👁👁
I've been watching my VODs because I'd just wanted to make sure the sound and video and other technical things had worked fine... but then I found myself being genuinely amused by some of it, clumsy as it was. It's given me confidence to keep going. I made myself laugh, and that's the first step, right? Yes, sure, absolutely.
I’m often at the top of my category, but only because Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is a dead category. It’s easy to be at the top of a dead category, but you get like no new viewers from it. After three weeks of streaming in it I think I got 1 new chatter from it. Being in a dead category is bad for growth even if you are at the top of it. I’m learning this one the hard way.
Where I stand with this is I always want to improve I know I am not at where I want to be the stream I'm doing today will be my 6th one but each stream is slowly improving thanks to you, issacwhy, BigT, DougDoug, Ludwig, and etc. and anyone else raids only work if you yourself are a good content creator I'm not good enough yet but in the far future I will be and thats all I need

That's so awesome to hear! Kudos to you for branching out like that and being able to find some success in it. It's a really big deal!
Yep, I have known his content for a while! Truly an amazing creator both on TH-cam and Twitch! I look up to him a lot! #earlygang as well by the way!
The last couple sentences about not wallowing in self pity and stuff like that hit home. Thank you for saying that.
*Watches 'till the end to get the promised tip*
I KNEW IT!
Just hit affiliate yesterday after a month or so of streaming! Thanks Eljay and Stream Scheme for all the great tips!
Made me get teary eyed at the end there!!!! Everyone please take notes!!!! He knows what he is talking about!!!!!! Much love as always!
Hope it helps, I am just doing my best, others know far more than me like Devin, Nutty, and Gaming Careers!
I believe you have a good kind soul at your core. You are so helpful to so many it really says a lot about you as a real person. Not just an internet personality. That's why I enjoy your content! You fucking rock. Thanks for the help!
Hey thanks mate! Just doing my best :)
Man I needed to hear that last bit. Thank you, you're awesome
Hope it helps! :) #earlygang as well!
Your advice has gained me from 0 followers to me getting 9 viewers and 7 followers in three days of starting. Honestly thank you so much for this advice I never thought I'd have so much fun interacting with the chat they were constantly asking me questions and talking with each other
Honestly this helped so much, I re-watch my stream after every time to take notes.
Great tips! Most of all, love your honesty tempered with the positive message. It hits hard, but it doesn't make you feel bad it helps get you rolling. Very well done. And yes, I was making notes and lists!
You got this, Rev! :)
It felt a bit obvious but glad it hit home with people, a few have been a bit intense and said it wasn't a good tip but I think it pretty important :)
Sadly a big break will hurt your community most likely, have you considered YT and discord events in the mean time?
@@StreamScheme I have a discord server with 50+ people in it, I'm planning on hosting a tournament for the game I stream in a few days actually.
Every video you make gives me so much to think about! I feel pumped and ready to improve my content even more!!!
I love your videos, I’ve been streaming for close to 2 years now and am just now seeing some growth. I strive on improvement and your videos seriously motivate me like no other. Thank you!
Keep it up! It is nothing to do with me, just your own hard work! :)
The last two minutes of this is the single best advice i think i have gotten from this whole channel.
You saved my day! My day at school today was absolute horse shit, I haven’t started twitch yet but I just love watching your videos!
Hope your week goes better from here :)
Great advice about watching your own vods. If you can't sit through your own stream, why would anyone else?
One Billion Percent! Also, hey metal! :)
@@StreamScheme Hi dude!
This channel really does help alot i went from 0-50 followers in like 6 months im currently at 68 with not that fast growth and i get like 1-2 people who come back once in a while!!! thanks man
Just hope I can give everyone a good place to start and grow! Thanks for the kind words! #earlygang!
Hi, I'm French twitch creator and I began few weeks ago. With your advice I'm already past 50 followers and still growing. Thanks mate!
Keep it up! :)
Can we get Eljay to be the new motivational lizard, cuz damn that last like 30 seconds got me inspired.
I miss that Little Lizard, Damn DMCA stopping us from motivating on Twitch!
Keep it up mate! I appreciate the kind words, seems like you’re working hard! :)
@@StreamScheme cheers man just realised i put 5 months i mean weeks 🤦♂️
After using your tips I've gone from 0 to 41 followers and 0 to 6 average viewers in only 8 streams! Thank you SO MUCH Eljay I'm having a blast streaming!
Sounds like you're working hard! Keep it up :)
@@StreamScheme I am, just finished streaming. Now I'm at 48! Affiliate tomorrow!
@@StreamScheme IM NOW AT 102 FOLLOWERS YOUR TIPS ARE AMAZING
thank you for all your videos ive watched them all since i found you, i started streaming in october, got affiliated a month later. and now to my shock i have over 150 fallowers and a few subs! like holy moly, THANK YOU for your videos they have been massively helpful. i know i have a LONG way to go, but i strive to be the best me online, honest and fun, a safe place for others to just relax and have fun.
Glad I could help! You got this :)
Glad it was helpful! I think sometimes the videos that do best are the ones I needed myself, so I really hope this does that! #earlygang as well! :)
Me too tbh, its hard not to get disheartened when you dont see much growth but its important to self assess and see where you can self improve :)
@@StreamScheme yOU AINT SHIT
I honestly have to say that this is one of the best guides on improving your stream on youtube!
Thank you, Eljay, for you time and effort!
It could've been a lot better, looking back there is so much I want to change! But I am glad you like it!
That final actionable step is so powerful! I'd never considered that, and I think that it's such a valuable technique!
@@StreamScheme I’d be honored! Go right ahead. (And you don’t have to blur my name if you don’t want to 😉)
I get better in each of my videos. Or at least when I stream. Because I review and re-watch EVERY single stream I've done and it helps every time.
Sorry not quilts quality
Damn, last time i was this early, i was getting hyped for the 16 seconds til stream countdown
Good to see you again man! #earlygang! Always the hype man! :)
I feel that the content is going to help me improve my stream on a deep level. Thanks again for making content like this :)
Was able to drop into a stream of yours earlier today. Love you engagement and saw a lot of what you talk about on here coming through in the stream. These videos are great, thank you for making them!
Hey thanks! I appreciate the kindness, last night we ended up just chilling around when you dropped in but I’m glad you were still having fun!
So many of these videos have been exactly what I need - I've got my Uni dissertation coming up soon and the plan is to use twitch to deliver it, then who know what happens after that! I've done a couple of streams and have really enjoyed it!
I seriously have a notebook open and I'm taking notes as I'm watching this video. Possibly one of the most helpful videos on this channel.
I really appreciate the kind words, I hope I can continue helping :)
@@StreamScheme I hope I can learn to look critically enough at my stream to actually improve it. It's so difficult to watch front to back sometimes.
These vids really help. I don't even cringe at my own voice, so I'm looking forward to actually making interesting streams
I appreciate all of your help on your videos, they have helped me more than you know! :) Continuing to grow & learn every day!
I'm so glad! You got this!
Thanks so much for the advice. Just the simple sitting down and rewatching streams helped me notice so many things i can work on improving
Hi! I just started streaming last week and your tips are helping me! Thank you so mucho! ♥
Happy to help! Hopefully I can keep it up for you! :)
Thanks for this video, it's exactly what I needed right now. I've mostly been working on being more comfortable on stream mainly having friends and family help keep my average up. Being given a actionable set of steps I can work on will really help.
You got this! I am really glad I can help! :) #earlygang!
Practice! It comes to a natural end and you go, "Oh guys I was thinking about this earlier...." and bam, you are good to go! Just practice!
@@StreamScheme thanks! I'll keep working on it and preparing things I can Segway into
I'm not sure if you've covered a video on the particular topic however, you also have good verbal technique which you may want to do a video on. you continually remind people in your videos that a super helpful tip is coming up but you'll also throw other pieces in as either quality or filler content.
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE WATCHING MY CONTENT! Reliving those moments with my friends is always a blast and always leaves me with a smile.
Ive been thinking about this question since i started streaming regularly a month ago. Thanks for making this video
Glad it was helpful!
Teared up at the end. Love you eljay! Thank you for inspiring small streamers!
Your content has really helped my stream!!! I hope you're feeling better and hopefully tomorrow's stream goes well for you!
Glad to hear it! I reckon with such a nice community, no way tomorrow can go anyway other than amazingly! #earlygang!
I really needed to hear that last bit, thanks man. These videos are helping so much! I'm gonna watch my last stream right now.
You got this! Glad it helps :)
After watching your videos my content has gotten so much better... thank you!
I love how confident with myself you make me feel. Thanks man!
That last bit was something I really needed to hear! Thank you :D
Thanks dude! I've compiled a list of things I need to do to improve... You're such a big help for the community!!! :)
Happy to help! I don't know if I am really doing much but hopefully people can take away parts to help themselves :)
I'm a simple man. I see the notification, I'm here. Time to watch the video xD
Hope it helps, Yin! #earlygang!
@@StreamScheme Who's a creator I really look upto who I take inspiration from...You Eljay! Another fantastic video my friend keep it going.

Good luck! :)
I use the paint splatter overlays and I absolutely love them!!

Yeaahhh! #earlygang! Hope this helps!
Dude you are great I have been using so many of your tips for my streams and I feel like they all work. I have been pushing forward and trying new things to see if they stick and make the live streams better every day. You are an inspiration and keep up the good work!
Its like you have my brain in your hands, I was just thinking this last night.
Loving the videos & very helpful my man
So glad to be helpful mate! Good luck! :) #earlygang!
Absolutely yes! Seeing those glimmers and enjoying your own content is absolutely the first step! Keep it up! #earlygang
Yep, it’s a balancing act. Active and alive but not oversaturated :)
PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS
Where I stand with this is I always want to improve I know I am not at where I want to be the stream I'm doing today will be my 6th one but each stream is slowly improving thanks to you, issacwhy, BigT, DougDoug, Ludwig, and etc. and anyone else raids only work if you yourself are a good content creator I'm not good enough yet but in the far future I will be and thats all I need
