India has top quality trains like Vande Bharat express, Tejas express, Gatimaan express and world class metro system which I know South Africa does not have. Considering that why would anyone take Taxis and buses in India?
Hahahah, you are quite right. South Africa does not have a train system, people burned it all down 🥹🔥😖 We tried the train from Jaipur to Ranthambore (coming up in the next video) and we were blown away how nice it was!!! So affordable, clean, blankets and pillows, tea. So safe! We loved it and woul take a train any day again in India!!! There is a reasons Elephant rides needs to be supported because its a difficult skill our ancestors developed of taming wild elephants and probably the family of people knowing this need monetary support. You are hypocrites because you love chicken and meat on your food plate and showing care about animals in other countries. Why don't you start animal care from your own food plate. Some wise man has said that "The change you want to see in the world start with you".
Hi! Thank you for watching the video :) The change starts with me that is why I don’t ride the elephants. A lot of people aren’t aware of what the elephants go through so I’m merely sharing what I’ve learned through travels. No doubt it’s a difficult skill, but unfortunately more often than not it is very cruel what these elephants go through. 1. An elephant is not made to be ridden. It does not have the back of a horse. Even though it is large it is very damaging for him if someone sits on him. 2. To be tamed their spirits gets broken, breaking the spit of someone or something is never a skill which should be celebrated. I do understand that it provides an income for people but like slave trading it is perhaps an income which has become out dated and cruel. I agree with you that it will be much less harmful to animals if they weren’t farmed, slaughtered and eaten. In full alignment with you there. I try to limit my meat intake and and try to make sure it is from ethical farming. But I do agree with you that it would be a lot better for the animals if I did not eat them and I’m definitely not on the pure and righteous side of the fence when it comes to that, I agree. As a travel content creator I do think it is important to share information and lessons that I’ve learned and the viewer can use their own opinion or judgement what they would like to do with that.

As an Indian, I would kindly request tourists, foreign or local to stop using horse riding as a method of climbing the Kufri hills in Manali. I did it once and felt really bad for the horse and swore myself never to use them. They were not the typical large horses and the guy would kick the horse on the belly if it did not obey him. Besides it's the dirtiest path you can take to climb the Kufri hills so better to avoid it altogether and choose a different mode of transport.
READ THIS ⬆️ Thank you for mentioning this. I really hope people read your comment and make the right decision. If people aren’t aware and don’t know they wouldn’t know not to ride these animals. So thank you for sharing this. Same goes for the donkeys in Greece and horses in Indonesia :)

This is a very fair comment. I think it is about the life that the animal lives. If it is free roaming chickens who had a good life and slaughtered in a humane way then I wouldn’t consider it abuse eating chicken. But there are definitely chickens who are abused and kept in big facilities. But I agree that it would be better to not eat the chicken. I try my best to make informed decisions about consuming animal products with the info that is out there. @@Kalki0025 that sounds amazing! I was so surprised by the natural beauty of India and the wild life. 😀 all the fresh water and beautiful mountains!
India is so big that I think many tourists don’t know that half of the places exist. And the media and mainstream travel usually only show the golden triangle or Delhi. Which is so sad cause I agree with you there’s so much more to INDIA.
But one would have to visit a few times to enjoy all its wonders!! I’m still shocked how big it is 😂😂
Jammu Kashmir is not stereotype 😂😂
Plz visit.. Mathura, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Kushinagar.....of Uttar Pradesh..👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for these recommendations! Everyone in India has been so wonderful recommending some great places we should visit, will make sure to visit these.
Keen to read more about Mathura, Ayodhya and Kushinagar! Never heard of them before!! Thank you!
😅no I guess

Hello!!
Thank you so much for visiting the video! 🤗
We wanted to after Leh but we ran out of time :(
But it is high on our list to visit next time!!
Are you from Kashmir? Have heard it is out of this world beautiful!🤩
I am not kashmiri but I have visited back in 2015, I am from kolkata, but do try visiting south India specially munnar , ooty, and andaman nicobar island has one of world's top 10 beaches the "radhanagar" beach , you can have it in your list, and there is lakshadweep island, which is budget maldives but little hard to get to, hope you come back in the winter which is the ideal time to visit India except the northam mountains, I am sure as your channel gets popular people will shower recommendations of places in India. You gotta be selective here else you will only get places which the bbc portrays of us😂.
@@hustler5396 ah Kolkata! I really want to visit Kolkata as well!!
Thank you for all the great recommendations and for taking the time to write. I have actually never heard of Andaman Nicobar before... I just googled it now. WOW!!!!
It is insane! I never knew India had a place like that. I'm adding that to the TOP of my list for the next visit, WOW! Thank you for that recommendation.
Yes, when visiting in winter I really want to visit Jaisalmer. We tried to go when we were in Rajhastan in June but it was just too hot. Everybody said we should rather come back in winter again to visit there.
Hahaha, I agree. When visiting India some planning beforehand of where you want to go will definitely give you a much more pleasant experience and view.
But it really upsets me how the media often only show the rougher parts when showing India, I never knew how incredible India was until I met a girl from India and she showed me pictures and I was like... no!!! Thats India??? Theres snow!? And Islands!?
I've had a very warped perception of India until a year ago, like so many other people in the world.
You have an incredible country and some of the kindest people.
@@KinfolkTravelsglad you like it,
India has a very different vibe, foreigners either like it or reject it , because it is very very chaotic, keeps you on your toes all the time , adrenaline rush all the time, which some people love and some people hate😂 the hustling culture of sellers, it is annoying even for us when we visit different states of india it's not a special treatment for foreigners 😂
😂 rajasthan will burn your soul in summers,
we are working hard to spread awareness about the litter , it is tough you know with such a huge population where people fight for a plate of food daily, they will give a damn about all these topics of waste management, but things are changing for good, the cities are getting revamped, with proper waste management, like cybercity of gurugram, bangalore, some parts of Mumbai, indore (cleanest city of india), also north n south of india are like two different countries, everything from food clothes scape , language changes
India can definitely be quite overwhelming when arriving. But if you have a plan of where you want to go then you can discover the beauties.
Sjoe, Rajhastan was so hot!! 40 degrees at 6pm.😂 was living in aircon 24/7.
I’ve heard from someone else as well that 10 years ago INDIA was very different and it’s come a long way in the last 10 years. And in the next 10 years it will be light years ahead again of where it is today with all the improvements happening everywhere.
I mean if India could be the first ones to land on the South Pole of the moon 😮 then you guys can do anything and I’m sure it will just go up and up from here on out!!
There are many places to visit . We are very hospitable, we Indians have our own ways to do things. Seems like you get more views from western people by showing all the negative things about India. If you can’t take it or adjust like we Indians do then please don’t complaint and don’t come. As when we travel to your countries we don’t complaint about anything we don’t like in your complaint. Have been to your country and really had terrible time with thieves!! But never complained in social media or in any platforms like youtube!! Many South African earn money here in India playing in INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE for your information. Have seen many fellow blogger from your country too..I will definitely subscribe and support your channel and watch your videos so don’t worry even after this comment of mine. Please do read my comment when you get time as your time very valuable unlike mine !!!
Hi! Thank you for the comment, watching and subscribing.
We loved India and can’t wait to return! I try my best to give a rounded and honest view. Highlighting the positives but remaining honest to the audience who plan to visit destinations to know what to expect or prep for :)
Any country has its positives and negatives, I’m really really sorry that you experienced thieves in South Africa. It really upsets me when I hear that and when people do the effort and spend the time and money to come and visit and then some people spoil it for them and make them feel unsafe. I’m really sorry that you had that experience.
In India we were treated so well, the people were mostly friendly and the majority of the time we felt safe.
Yes, we have many cricket players living and enjoying life in India. I loved indias love for cricket.
Your time is also valuable and I really appreciate that you spend time watching the videos and commenting. Really appreciate it!

Thank you for mentioning this. I really hope people read your comment and make the right decision.
If people aren’t aware and don’t know they wouldn’t know not to ride these animals. So thank you for sharing this.
Same goes for the donkeys in Greece and horses in Indonesia :)
Thank you!@@KinfolkTravels
Are you from which country?
Hey!!
From South Africa :) 🇿🇦
Those groceries were like 25$ not 111$
Hi! That’s what it came to. 🥺
I know you can probably get it for $25 in India. But we went to an international store that was a biiiit more expensive. Not something I’d recommend unless you are missing home and wanting to get some comfort food from your home country at a price :)
And Indian man try to take first impression of you😂😂
Hahahaha, and should I ask what those were?
Visit rajasthan
We did! But it is so big we only saw a very small part of it. Really want to go back there in the winter 😬🇮🇳
Bharat is not chaos
Organized chaos. :)
The guide is wrong here. There is no such thing as Islamic architecture. It is Persian.
Thank you for watching! I googled it now because I don’t know much about architecture styles and I see that it is often referred to as Islamic architecture online as well 🤗
@@KinfolkTravels As an Indian, I can tell you that most Indian guides are not up to date or well-versed in architectural styles.
It’s a shit hole I travelled and lived in india for 21 years. It’s the most depressing time of life.
Oh no I’m sorry! India can be quite hectic but there is so much beauty there as well and some lovely people. We really enjoyed Ladakh area which was more relaxed.
You can put better standard music in background. other than any "C-Class" bollywood 19's music..Even indians unknown of this music.. and feels vomiting by such music. thank you.
Hello, thank you for highlighting this. I used music from epidemic sound which was beautiful to me and what I felt suited the video.
I don’t have much knowledge regarding Indian music and am sorry if it offended you or a bit outdated. I did not know.
Is there a specific part of the video where you disliked the music then I’ll make sure to not use that again.
Thank you again for highlighting it
@@KinfolkTravels I don't know what you thought.. but if i was a vlogger visiting variety of countries i would welcome things positively without putting them into specific container. Kindly, "Atithi Devo Bhava". 🙏
@@Owleyes__ let me know if there is a specific part of the videos music that you disliked. :)
Too much preaching, hypocrites
Sorry that you experienced it that way. Only trying to give information to give the most rounded and accurate information to other travelers so they can make well informed decisions :)
Thank you for watching!
I HAVE A QUESTION! YOU SAID IN THIS VIDEO THAT WE DON'T TAKE ELEPHANT RIDE BECAUSE OF ANIMAL SUFFERING AND ABUSE, BUT I SAW YOU EATING CHICKEN IN YOUR ANOTHER VIDEO. ISN'T KILLING AND EATING ANIMALS A SUFFERING AND ANIMAL ABUSE? NO OFFENCE!
And tourists in India can also make informed decisions with the information about the elephants in this video.
Thank you for watching :)
