Hi Claire, just watching your video. I was born and brought up in Jaipur only settled in Australia from many years now. I am shocked to see the locals are doing such bad things to the foreigners these days. I am feeling very bad and sad. But apart from the bad experience I am glad that you have actually liked the Amer fort. It is one of our icon of Jaipur.
We are really sorry that you went through this in our country. You should have shown his face in this video so that local authority could take action against that person.
Hello! Awesome videos! Were you there in September? We are planning a trip there and I see the weather was good when you were there but everyone on the internet says that September is quite wet. :(
Thank you for all the tips. We went to the other entrance further up the hill and weren't haggled for tour guides. We arrived quite late about 5.30pm. the fort is very beautiful when they start putting on the lights. We had a dinner reservation at 1135AD (within the fort)
Stumbled upon your channel and you earn yourself a subscriber! Do plan a trip to south of Spain for similar -ish architectures. They are moorish down there but ngl it’ll blew you mind! Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada
Pardon for your bad experience, do visit Lucknow(city of nawabs) & Varanasi(the oldest city on earth) in Uttar Pradesh. Also best wishes & more power to your upcoming endeavors..🤗🤗
Usually the guide problem is always there either if you can go with a local it helps a lot and you may get a good guide too there are good guides and they know a lot and sorry that u get to experience the guide chaos
I love to see your videos . I think you will love LEH ladakh region , north of india is more beautiful, be it LEH ,HIMANCHAL or UTTARAKHAND .I am happy you planned for leh ladakh region. im excited to see your reaction of leh.
Prefer the less touristy places in the meantime till we fix this, India has a lot to offer, happy exploring! Personal recommendations - Kerala, Goa, Puducherry, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh.
It's a great decision to choose Ladakh as ur next destination. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. And sorry for the bad experience. Their state Govt should focus on these stuff.
Hi ! If you guys are going to ladakh then I would really suggest you to go to Jammu & Kashmir also. It's also a cool place to visit and the nature there is amazing unlike the busy cities like delhi & Jaipur here in India .
You guys too close from the festival called Navratri, it's a biggest festival in Rajasthan and some part of India, celebrating for 9days it's going to be start from 26th sep this year, Better luck next time 😕👍
Wow good to know! Planning to go mid October. Did you encounter much rain? Also was your scarf just to cover up or protect you from the sun? I’ve heard that Delhi’s air/sky is quite hazy
16:19 I don't know why people don't understand that spitting tabacco creates such a bad image of India. Such beautiful monuments are completely ruined by people spitting and people drawing on the walls. People are not at all civilised in India. And harassing the tourists and asking for them to take guide, buy their stuff and even photos is so disgusting. I don't know why people in India don't understand this. They completely ruin the wonderful experience that tourists have in India. ON BEHALF ON ALL OF THEM I AM REALLY SORRY GUYS.😓
Try to visit south india as well, u can experience many beautiful places, i'm from Hyderabad india. Make your choice of visiting places in south india like HYDERABAD, CHENNAI, BANGALORE, TRIVENDRUM, THIRUPATHI. You can experience another different world of india❤️ , best places like monuments, temples, beaches, IT HUB, Film cities, The best of nature.. once again thank you for visiting our country.
I am sorry for your bad experience. The guide and hawkers part is true for everyone which should be stopped by authorities but till then I would suggest you to just get 1 guide so not every other person is bothering you even if you really don't want to hear the guide :D.

Aw yay! Come along😍
I have been there in 2014. Amber fort have breathtaking view
We are really sorry that you went through this in our country. You should have shown his face in this video so that local authority could take action against that person.
Hello! Awesome videos! Were you there in September? We are planning a trip there and I see the weather was good when you were there but everyone on the internet says that September is quite wet. :(
Selamat menjelajah negeri nya ratu jodha, semoga anda berdua selalu mengingat kenangan indah saat berada di negeri ku tercinta Indonesia, 💝💝💝🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Thank you for all the tips. We went to the other entrance further up the hill and weren't haggled for tour guides. We arrived quite late about 5.30pm. the fort is very beautiful when they start putting on the lights. We had a dinner reservation at 1135AD (within the fort)

The reason it is called 'Hawa Mahal' is because the unique archtechture is designed to capture the wind, and provide a natural air conditioning.

trying to figure out what time of the year did you guys visit North India?
and how do you survive wearing a scarf all day as it looks quite hot/humid?
Hey there, thanks for watching. We arrived on 11 August and left on 08 September. Hope that helps:)
Wow good to know! Planning to go mid October. Did you encounter much rain?
Also was your scarf just to cover up or protect you from the sun?
I’ve heard that Delhi’s air/sky is quite hazy
Amazing video!
How much was driver and for how many hours did you hire?
Best TH-cam channel came across 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Please take a local friend with you these hawkers just stick around everyone
Most tourists won't have local friends. They shouldn't have to do that.
It’s a shame for sure😭. Don’t worry, we had an amazing time nonetheless🙏🏻❤️
Do you guys still lives in south Africa?
Yes, we go back every year😁
When are we seeing you in Jodhpur
In love with your video. Do visit South India. You will love it for sure.
