Thanks for an honest review of Delhi. Most people sugarcoat it. Also, Delhi Airport lacks modern equipment which can check everything inside the bag. So you have to open the bag and expose everything.
That is the most funny thing I've heard. Of course, Delhi the city is quite crazy. But, "the modern equipment" in Delhi airport is called "X-Ray". Even small airports have it. At the Delhi airport, they ask you to unpack your electronics and some other items (in addition to X-Ray), because we are surrounded by crazy countries.
Delhi was quite an experience. Love India! But I don’t think Delhi was one of our favorite places in India, but surely an experience. Hahaha, our bags were such a mess after packing our every single cable every time 😅 but rather safe than sorry. Thank you for watching!
@@KinfolkTravels I think Delhi has its charm too. Especially the monuments and old Delhi street food. Plus, for many logistical things, Delhi is required. But, yeah, in no way it represents the totality of India and a couple of days are more than enough for Delhi.

I’m sorry to hear that :/ I can imagine April being quite cold. Was it full of snow? What did you do there, wasn’t a lot of places still closed? Hope when you go back you enjoy warmer weather. In July we didn’t need heaters it was warm enough ☀️
@@KinfolkTravels Indeed, quite a lot of places were closed but there were enough places opened....I didn't miss anything really. The lady host at my hotel told me the Dalai Lama often visits few days after his birthday....Maybe it could be an interesting time to visit. I need to visit again because I want to be able to discuss with the Head of Lamas at Thiksey. He is a very learned monk and he will probably have some secrets to share with me hopefully. There was some snow at one point and I managed to have photos of Hemis Monastery under the snow, which is something very rare.

I’m so glad! Someone else also mentioned it. I was not aware that there were discrepancies on the map. May I ask what the differences are with the maps as I wasn’t aware. :)
We recognize POK(Pakistan occupied kashmir) as indian part, so we want to be align with indian map although pok is controlled by pakistan but we are committed to take it back and we reserved parliamentary seats for POK people
Hope you will enjoy your journey and must visit uttarkashi (my hometown) uttarakhand

You gotta visit the following places
1- BANJAR/JIBHI - KULLU, HIMACHAL
2- SHIMLA - HP
TRUST ME YPU WON'T REGRET IT
Thank you!! Adding them to the list!
Bus to Leh bus via Himachal will give you views that you can't get on a flight. You don't have to do it at one go from Delhi.
You can spend time in Manali and Lahaul in Himachal and then take the bus for 10-12 hrs Max in one go.
I can imagine the views must be incredible!
Really want to go to Manali still. 🤗 heard it’s beautiful!
@@KinfolkTravels Manali itself is crowded... Go ahead and explore Lahaul Region which is on the way too.

1:55 or you can use UPI enable apps to do digital transactions.
It doesn’t work that well for foreigners with non Indian bank accounts :(
@@KinfolkTravels I saw Karl rock using it in his videos. That's why I Suggested it. 🙂
Which camera??
This was mostly filmed on GoPro Hero 10, iPhone 10 and 11 as well as insta360.
U should visit Turtuk Village in ladakh, pangong lake in ladakh
We visited Pangong lake, incredible! Coming up in the next video.
We planned to visit Turtuk but they mentioned that a lot of times foreigners can’t really enter or go very far in so it’s not always worth the effort and drive for foreignersp
Nice video
Thank you and thank you for watching!
Nice👏👏😊😊😊
🤗
Thanks for an honest review of Delhi. Most people sugarcoat it. Also, Delhi Airport lacks modern equipment which can check everything inside the bag. So you have to open the bag and expose everything.
That is the most funny thing I've heard. Of course, Delhi the city is quite crazy. But, "the modern equipment" in Delhi airport is called "X-Ray". Even small airports have it. At the Delhi airport, they ask you to unpack your electronics and some other items (in addition to X-Ray), because we are surrounded by crazy countries.
@@rextro4799 and a few crazy people who support them inside as well.
Delhi was quite an experience. Love India! But I don’t think Delhi was one of our favorite places in India, but surely an experience.
Hahaha, our bags were such a mess after packing our every single cable every time 😅 but rather safe than sorry.
Thank you for watching!
Rather safe than sorry. It’s effort, but if it ensures safety then all for it and glad they do it.
@@KinfolkTravels I think Delhi has its charm too. Especially the monuments and old Delhi street food. Plus, for many logistical things, Delhi is required. But, yeah, in no way it represents the totality of India and a couple of days are more than enough for Delhi.
Come to santinal Island one most isolated island of India
That looks very interesting! But are visitors allowed to go there?
@@KinfolkTravels No sis...no one's allowed there....but you can explore neighboring islands😊Do visit cellular jail there

India is actually a continent with 28 different countries.
Actually India along with its 7 neighbours are known as Indian subcontinent.😊
Agree! It is so crazy how you go to different states and it feels like a different country! 🤯
❤ from great 🇮🇳🙏
You have an exceptional country 🤗

That is so high on my list right now, want to try and do it this year still. The pictures, the things people have said about it. Sounds like paradise!
You visited during what month please?
This was in July 2023 ☺️
@@KinfolkTravels I was there in April 2024 and I stayed in a Homestay on Sankar road. But I really felt that the rooms are not heated enough. They have a personal heater for each room but it’s not really enough to heat the room properly and because of that I really suffered a lot at night when it was really cold. I want to go back in July too when I believe it should be a bit warmer. But you are right, Leh is really a very very special destination…..out of this world…
I’m sorry to hear that :/ I can imagine April being quite cold.
I was mostly attracted by the monasteries because the way of life of the Buddhist monks has always fascinated me. Hemis Monastery and Thiksey were among the special ones. I need to visit again because I want to be able to discuss with the Head of Lamas at Thiksey. He is a very learned monk and he will probably have some secrets to share with me hopefully. There was some snow at one point and I managed to have photos of Hemis Monastery under the snow, which is something very rare.
You should Visit to Kargil as well
Thank you! Will add it to list 🤗
