I am happy that I have it now, and I am sure I will be using it on several projects in the future. Rivet Nuts or Riv Nuts or Nut Serts are still kind of new to me, but I like the idea of being able to put a nut in a blind hole and/or being able to take something apart if needed in the future.

Used one today. It was very hard to compress and pulled the threads out of the rivet nut. Not sure why? Maybe the sheetmetal was too thick? I ran a 1/4-20 tap through it and the bolt held. I only got 23 more to go! Need to figure out if this is gonna work or not.
