His memories and tragedies were being extracted to motivate an army of Batmen Darkseid was going to use as his elite military force. Scott Free was dead, like all the other New Gods, only Metron had followed the Apokoliptian Gods back to the material plane to inhabit a human body. Shilo Norman was Scott Free's human apprentice on Earth when Scott was making a living as an entertainer, specifically an escape artist. Lastly Darkseid's Omega Beams have been shown to do a lot more than disintegrate. He can change genetic makeup, mentally dominate weaker wills, teleport, resurrect those killed by the Omega Beams, freeze in time, etc. It has also been established in the third volume of Batman/Superman that Darkseid could time travel if he wants but chooses not to for the shear folly of it. Not too hard to make the leap that Darkseid can use the Omega Beams for time travel.
I would like to see you tackle the Rene Montoya/Specter tie in. That was by far the best one in my eyes. Probably the most esoteric and intrinsic as well. It would present the biggest challenge.

Thanks for putting up a ton of content - a lot of of folks don't make videos on a lot of the topics and stories that you do. 2 points of constructive criticism - change the ad system if possible (too many in one video and they often interrupt you in the middle of reviewing complex plotlines) and go for a script that can help you avoid stuff like overusing "basically" and other similar words. Wasn't it Superboy Prime and Monarch? In this case, Captain Atom was the Monarch and when Superboy Prime broke his containing suit, the explosion blasted all the universe away. I believe this happenned on universe 51, which was the one Batman killed all the villains after the Joker killed Robin, making it a paradise Earth.
I would personally love and appreciate if you'd cover Batman's journey through time, because I knew that this happened, but I never understood what happened when he was sent away and how he got back. Thanks!

Darkseid hit him with the " OMEGA SANCTION " It's a specific ability Darkseid has and it was also used in "Seven Soldiers of Victory" Omega Sanction has always done what it does here. It's called " The Death that is Life " for a reason. Remember this story is a bit of a sequel to 7Soldiers.

It is very easy to lose track - my suggested request, please make a video streamlining all the story lines in the order of the general Dark Knights metal concluding the story within all the different archs: Idea is an 2-3 hour video that streamlines all justice league/batman/superman/superson/ etc/etc.....
