I’ve seen a few people valve rods break where the hammer hits it. I was thinking this new fancy stuff is just going to compound this issue. Is there a fix for that in the works?
Hello. I have a fx impact m3 sniper .30 with the old power bolck (early 2022 year) but I have a friend who owns the same with the new power block. But I do not see much difference with the power (same setting). Can you explain to me the difference between the two? THANKS.
I did not you him tighten the "plug"... Gonna fix my kit today !! Thanks Huma air ! Just wonder if the tungsten hammer needs the spacers i guess not because 2 was already tight on the M3 people also said you only need one. If you put 2 on the M3 the chance is likely if you put the power wheel to 16 you won't get the micro adjuster to 5 anymore...
11:55 minutes valve head travel length was before 6mm to 6.5mm in previous model right now 5.5mm ?🤷🏻🤔 In my experience I install te barrel first so that the top housing is aligned properly before tightening down the top guide plate. And with my finger I touch each and every before tightening weather it’s aligned or not. ✌🏻

My kit is the one where the valve housing has no o rings where as the other or previous one had four. My block has 3 o rings that go in bottom of block and one in the top of the block. My question is there is no orings on the new housing that goes through the plenum. The kit included 4 total o rings but all those go into the block. Just trying to understand how it seals from housing to plenum since the new housing has no orings. Thank you
I’m wondering if you should use power tool on aluminum not good for owners of the FX will use power tool and strip the screws. Always use quality hand tools. Great job thank you.
They should have the common sense to use tools with torque settings so they don;t strip or else a low powered one so you can crack off by hand and unscrew by power. Mine is excellent and does not have the power to strip but brilliant to unscrew all them millions of screws.... it was also as cheap as chips, usb charged.
Tell me Ernest my friend,how is the issue with FX IMPACTS solved,many people has it,when gun sits for a half of a day or couple of hours and velocity gun drops around 50-100 fps,then it stabilizes after 5-10 shots,its the problem with oring and the valve since MK2,have MK4 same issue...
Ernest- i installed the power block kit and tungsten hammer on my M3 .30 (8 months old) - my C1 sticks out 8.4mil from block. the C1 is screwed all the way down on the rod until it is stopped. Is this correct? i cannot make it any shorter to reach your stated 5.5mil?? Help- thanks, great video.
Ernest i wonder, how did you install the transfer port inside with 2 O-rings mounted on it and there is one o-ring inside the power block, those are 3 sir, i have problem replacing the oring inside the barrel housing in the power block...its insane just, i need your help please is there any method or tool, ty
Finaly got my kit... but though i was verry carefull and lubes al the rings and everything that had to slide in i still crewed th big o-ring where you screw the plenum apart from the front side. Damn those edges are sharp... I gonna have to buy one here in the local store because it could take a while to order it from fx... To bad it is saterday evening now shop is closed for 2 days... pfff
I recently added the 35 tensioned barrel kit, which is awesome. I was about to add the Huma Slug Power V2 Cal .35 Tuning Kit. While taking the bottle off, the air in the rifle drained by itself? Red flag? Anyway I proceeded to add the springs and when loaded the bottle, air was rapidly draining. So I thought maybe the AMP reg. had a Huma Gen 3 that I got for the 35 cal., so thought I'd install that once I checked the O-ring in the block. The O-ring had a hole in it. So I replaced it. Also, you'll notice there is deterioration or corrosion on the threads. Is that causing the leak out the power block?

Too many upgrades since the impact was first introduced that I can't krep up with them.(most of them are thanks to Ernest if I'm not wrong) I guess it has just been around a year and here is a new upgrade. I can't even decide is it good or bad. Do the upgrades show that this gun is open for improvements or is it poorly designed that it gets so many upgrades? Anyway I have a Mk1 and try to stick with it as much as I can and see what else will FX come up with.
Most upgrades are incremental, some have bigger impacts to performance and or efficiency like this power block. FX is constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Airguns. If you like to do the same then the impact is a worthwhile investment. I have thousands and thousands of rounds of slugs and pellets and I personally haven’t had a problem with my MK II yet. It really is an incredible tool.

I have just upgraded my gun with first version of power plenum, Huma regulator, dual hole transfer port and pellet probe yesterday ( I ordered them almost two years ago and I just had opportunity to install). As a result %30 increase in power is very satisfying for me and I am happy with my FX and upgrades however, from the time I bought the parts to the moment I assembled them, Fx released power plenum 720, power block and so on. So I just hope these incremental upgrades are not just to make more profit. Economically I can't keep up with them and spending that much also doesn't seem reasonable for me anymore.

The "normal" 720 plenum has no O-Ring inside since the O-Ring is positioned on the valve housing. So whats the new part number of the Power Block compatible Plenum? Can someone please shed a light?

FX offer terrible service and low quality products! Here's a real response from FX Support after I purchased a faulty "Power Block" version of the Impact and the dealer refused to help: "The support will be closed for summer holidays 16:th of July to 15:th of August" This is 100% true!!!!
That's just Europeans. How faulty could it have been? The only change is in the silk screening on the block and the stainless valve housing has fewer milling operations around its circumference and a slightly larger bore, the block is the same except rubber ball magazine retention pocket count is down 2. Now that i have one, i shouldve kept the old block on and spent the money on slugs. A heavier 14.4g huma hammer weight and stronger hammer spring is all i needed to get 1000 fps 31 grain slugs. Fx is really good at marketing right before an update is coming out and clearing out old parts. Wait a year before you buy anything new from fx (as ive learned). Unless you just enjoy tinkering like i do.
FX needs customers to have a whole workshop? That should be highlighted on the manuals.🤗

Is that a metal O-ring inside the Plenum or a regular O-ring? I just got mine today, and I got 4 O-rings but those go in the the block. Thank you
Inside the plenum where the valvehousing goes true is a normal rubber oring . So 4 orings is right , 3 for the block and 1 for the plenum .

Powerblock is only to generate once again more money, whats wrong with the original block...no problem to operate on the desired pressure.

Tried 3 times and leaked anytime. 3 new valves and delrin valves.
It looks like you have to take the whole gun apart. You probably better buy it all assembled.
