- Having a connection with nature in our modern world can be hard. In this video I share some of my own thoughts and practices on why (re)connecting with nature is so importand and how I try to live a happier life living more in balance with this beautiful planet. Nature is so beautiful and we can go back step by step towards a more natural way of living.
This video was a project from the heart. Maybe you will find some points that are relevant for you and share your best ideas with us :)

We ARE nature. The more we try to separate ourselves from the rest of it, the worse off we are. I wish the rest of humanity could appreciate that.
I agree 100% with your statement! 🌳
Quite a pantheistic thought
As a swiss simpleton myself, i appreciate this content!
Thank you so much for all your thoughts and suggestions! I think it is very important to reconnect with nature and pay a little more attention to our "true" existence 🤗✌🏻☘️
You are so right! ☺🍀
This morning I finally went outside to have my morning coffee in the garden. Im massively anxious about a million things so found this difficult to do, however gosh was it worth it. Your videos challenge status quo and this is just amazing 🤩
There is almmost nothing better than drink a nice cup of coffee outside in the garden / in nature ☺ I'm so glad to hear that and thank you for your kind words! 🍀
I love Switzerland, I live in Lebanon. Nature is amazing here. I spend a lot of time in nature !
☺☺ That's awesome!! Greetings to Lebanon and a great weekend 🤩🍀
You're on the right path.
☺☺🙏
I love the beautiful snowscapes in this tribute to nature! I’ve lived my life in a place where snowfall is extremely rare. The few times I’ve experienced it have been moments of unimaginable magic and wonder that I remember quite vividly, but they were not even close to the grandeur you've captured in your video. Thank you for sharing your spectacular winter scenery!
Thank you for your kind comment ☺ Snow truly is such a beautiful thing to witness!
✨🌲✨
Great, Swiss Simpleton! Hope to meet you one day. 😄 I love this video, I find everything about it to be true. We are part of nature and tend to forget it. Connecting with nature means connecting with ourselves. And what could be more important? Connecting with nature gives us inner peace and happiness and we can find comfort and strength. 🌿🍀🌳
Couldn't have said it better ☺☺
You could keep a nature journal. As simple or complicated as suits. Sometimes I like to just sit outside and write a little list of everything I see. Another for everything I hear. etc.
That is such a great idea! I love it ☺
More people should embrace and preserve nature as you do. Our resources, everywhere, are dwindling. Important video on a personal and global level.
It is truly sad to see how our doing negatively affects our beautiful planet. It is no longer give and take but only take as it often seems to me 😔 I hope that more and more people will step by step adjust their thinking and views so we can have this beauty around for many more decades to come. Thank you for your comment, I wish you a happy sunday ☺🍀
So synched with what I am reading, Tree of Life by Gregory Haynes. It is only now I am old that I see the world with a different lens. The inner work I am doing is about the first dream I ever had. It's a tree, I was 4 years old. I did have that connection since I was small but I hid the animism when I tended my social life more; like talking to trees; saying hello to squirrels in the forest, or asking permission to take a rock from the riverbank....Such things. So good for you that you have the sensitivity to Nature at the prime of your life. Cheers and regards from the North!🙏
I will put that book on my list! 😁
Beautiful to see that you also embraced nature and walk through it with open senses. I also see that living in modern society can make us hide these connections that we have in us. Glad that you can express them freely now ☺Cheers up north and have a beautiful week!
Thank you and have a good week, too.
Great video! Keep it up ❤😊
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
I subscribed ❤
Glad to have you around! ☺🍀
Me too❤
You saying the truth😇

Hello dear felix,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, there was some very interesting (and important!) food for thought. My goal is also to live more independently and to eventually have a garden where I can grow vegetables and herbs 🥕🥔 Yes, it's also possible on the balcony, but unfortunately you are clearly limited 😕I would also like to have chickens, and I am also interested in beekeeping: bees are so infinitely important for this planet and I would like to support and care for them. I, personally, am definitly drifting more towards nature the older i get, not drifting away from it.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us😁🤞
Ps: the shots of your garden in summer are so lush and beautiful - now I'm longing for warm temperatures and sun ☀️😍
That sounds like some amazing plans for the future. I hope that both our futures are filled with lots of harvested vegetables and big gardens ☺🤩 I also love your idea of having chickens and bees. That would be absolutely wonderful!
Thank you for commenting, I wish you a happy weekend very soon 🌞🌳
10/10 video!!! I totally agree with the drift away from our connection to nature, it's so sad to see, but that's why being intentional with how you spend your time is so important. I had a 'no-nature' phase as well during my teenage-uni years where I gamed a lot and had no real desire to go outside but coming out of that made me realize how important it is (I still game here and there but it feels so much more balanced😅). There's just too much abundance and temptation (social media and other distractions) out there now, we have to safeguard our time. I will check out the tree book, I don't care if trees are hippie😂, seeing just simple green leaves on the trees in the summer makes me so happy lol. Amazing drone shots and B-Roll btw!! (Also I highly recommend yoga outside!!)
I definitely went through a seemingly very similar teenage-phase haha 😁 and you are absolutely right. We have soo many opportunities to spend (or waste!) our time with nowadays that intentional living is super important but also poses a great challenge.
Thank you for you kind comment! I hope you'll like the book ☺🌳
Very insightful, thanks!!❄️❄️❄️
Glad you enjoyed it! Happy sunday ☺🍀

Is running a youtube channel really a slow life? Sounds pretty fast to me? 🤔🤣
