Thanks for the video. Excellent work. I just got the Air 2S. First drone. Awesome tech. I’ve been scouring the net for info on it. I might’ve missed it on your video but the button top right toggles between still and movie camera. Just found out today about that. Many of the vids explain how to do it via the app. That is a difficult way to do it. The button means that you can keep both hands on the controller and not be distracted from observing the drone. Thanks again for the vids. Look forward to more of them.
Being new to drones, this is one of the best videos I have watched so far because it goes over the basics of how to use the drone app. Now I feel way more comfortable using the app, thanks.
This is a great video tutorial! I just unboxed a new Air 2S today and have been looking at instructional videos while the batteries are charging. Yours is the most thorough and concise I've seen. Really glad I've subscribed!
I agree with the other recent comments in that I’ve flown the Air2s for 9 months now and still found tips I had forgotten or didn’t know in the first place. This was a great refresher (I think I watched it when you first posted) and if you wanted to do another 25 tips, I’d love to watch. Thanks
OMG subject scanning! I didn't even know there is something like that. It's a boon for us motorsport photographers who want to quickly follow an incoming car :D Even more excited for my Air 2s which is coming on Monday.
Awesome tips. Can you please show easy way to take picture, follow me mode and one important thing I need is to take my drone up while the camera is focused on me downward...
I have used the Original Mavic Pro for quite sometime and I am finding working on this new app quite a learning process. Your video is definitely accelerating that learning. Very much appreciated.
I would get rid of the part saying experienced pilots don't need to watch your video. I'm an experienced pilot and I learned several things. This video is so well done. It will be referenced often I'm sure. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Well done.
I don't know if I'm considered "experienced" at this point, I've had my air 2s for 2 years now and I started with the original mini. Crashed it a couple times, learned to fix it my self, got more flight experience and sold it. Then I upgraded to the air 2s. (After seeing the 3 I'm getting itchy for it though) but your video showed me a couple tips I did not know. Very good and informative video. Thank you! 👍
Just curious, mate - how have you mounted your camera for your videos, and where is it in relation to you? It appears to be almost above your head. Much appreciated. 😄👍
Great job explaining. I haven’t tried, but I’m wondering if the gimbal speed adjustment made in the advanced gimbal screen will also affect the zoom in/out speed?
Is there a way to abort the "home" location? for example, if I mistakenly press the aircraft icon rather than the controller and I then press home and I see the craft going to the newly chosen incorrect position, can I abort it quickly? Especially if I see the craft in danger. Thanks for the tutorials. They really help.
Thank you very much for such an informative video tutorial! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾Thumbs-up for that! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Have a great rest of your day! Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷
On the left, timer until battery is depleted. On the right, I believe it is AirSense new capability supporting RC, satellites, GPS and checks on front and back sensors. It is all safety measure to alert you if there is aircrafts in your flying zone and take precaution. Even though aircrafts fly at high altitudes, the drones can still go haywire and it is the responsibility of the remote pilot.
Great tips, and they were useful even to someone like me that has been using the Fly App since day one. Thanks doing another wonderful tutorial video..
Question about using the zoom. I can never get it to work in 4K. I always have to shoot 1080/60 then use a normal picture profile then the zoom feature works. I may try to see if it works with 4K/30. I always shoot D-log though.
Yes! Big issue for me with iPhone 12 Pro. Screen dims after only couple minutes in our 85F summer heat! In fact, screen went almost completely black yesterday and I had to use RTH button on controller to rescue the bird!
Just about to purchase an Air 2S so im very thankful to you for making this video. What type of phone did you use with your controller? Would you say the app interface is easier with an android phone or iphone, or is it all the same?
Hi, Great video, thank you. I wonder if you would know why I don’t have the zoom button displayed on my home screen and the pinch and expand doesn’t work either? All firmware is up to date……. Thanks in advance.
Good tips! I suspect the disable sideways flight is for follow, obstacle avoidance or manual fight to reduce the odds of flying sideways into something since the 2s doesn't have side sensors. I haven't really used it but that's my guess as to why it's there. Keep up the great work!
I don't have the zoom option for some reason,,,nor do I have the charging option for my phone in the settings... is there something I need to do to make them show up???
I’m not 100% certain if DJI sells the Air 2S aircraft only. I know they do with other models. But indeed the controller and batteries are the exact same for both models so if you can find one, you don’t need to re-purchase.
One question I have is when flying the Mavic Air 2s after engaging the return to home the gimbal will point the camera straight to the ground when it reaches the home point and begin to land. My mavic air 2 does not do that is there a way to change that in the settings? So far I haven’t seen anything about it?
Is it possible to use only one phone with the DJI fly app to fly either a Mini 2 or an Air 2S? I have had to use a different phone to get the new Air 2S to connect which sub optimal b/c my wife takes her phone when she goes to work. I can't find a yes or no to this question anywhere.
Hi there, Is there any way to let the drone fly a specif pattern? In hyperlaps can do something simular but i dont want the movment conected to gps coordinations. like i tell teh drone 30m up>3m left>15m right>etc .......
What would you do if you lose connection with your drone? I had a situation last summer where I flew to a distance beyond sight of my drone and I got an alarm for lost connection
Today I updated my fly app. (to Version 1.5.10) I was very hopefull that the issue that the Tripltek 8pro will not write the Videos in the cache is eliminated. I tryed and, yipie, it stored the Video in the App in a lower resolution. I tried it the second time and it was gone again. It was not cached. Oh dear Tripltek engeneers what can I do? Perhaps my comment would give you a hint. I use a air 2s.
Just moved from Mini 2 to Air2S…..didn’t know a few of those functions. Many thanks.
Thanks for helping me out with my Air 2S. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going back and forth with this video.
I've been flying the Mavic Air 2 for a year and I still learned a lot from this video. Thanks. I'm expecting my Air 2S tomorrow. Can't wait!
THE BEST 2S TUTORIAL SO FAR! A MUST WATCH

Your video is the only vid I've seen to mention the "sideways flight" on/off option. Thank you!
I’ve been flying for 6 months and you still thought me few new tricks I wasn’t aware of. Excellent work!!! Thank you!
The zoom trick with the wheel is great.
I've been playing an Air 2S for almost 6 months and I still got a lot out of this. Very helpful thank you.
This is a great video tutorial!
I just unboxed a new Air 2S today and have been looking at instructional videos while the batteries are charging.

Really glad I've subscribed!
All of these work on the air 2 as well, good video
Those were great tips. I also like that you speak slow enough. So many TH-camrs seem to rush.
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed
Thanks. The Air2S is my 5th DJI drone but it's still good to get a refresher class.👍

Can plz make separate vedio of air 2s battery care and storage voltages
Thanks man I just got my, Never flow it yeah so those tips are nice👍✌️
I need to write it down. Too many tips and great ones.
Thank you
All great stuff to a pretty newbie. The press Fn and move the wheel (normally for gimbal movement) for zoom will REALLY help.
Great video. I’ve had several different drones, but this guy was a little different. This video helped out a lot! Thanks.
Thank you! Greetings, from Vienna, Austria, Europe. Get mine next Friday.
OMG subject scanning! I didn't even know there is something like that. It's a boon for us motorsport photographers who want to quickly follow an incoming car :D
Even more excited for my Air 2s which is coming on Monday.
Thank you. Very handy tips 👍👍👍
Thank you. That was very helpful and informative. I watched it twice. Have a nice day! 😀
This is the best tip so far since I bought this drone
Excellent video. Had my 2S for a week now and haven’t played with the menu, so thanks for the info.
New drone and this video was great for getting used to it.
Excellent Video Sean!! Great information!! Thank you.
Great information--very useful--Thanks
Thank you very much
Awesome tips. Can you please show easy way to take picture, follow me mode and one important thing I need is to take my drone up while the camera is focused on me downward...
you hit it out of the park great video thank you
I have used the Original Mavic Pro for quite sometime and I am finding working on this new app quite a learning process. Your video is definitely accelerating that learning. Very much appreciated.
Did obstacle sensing disable when we do quickshots ?
Great tips. Thought I was quite familiar with app but learned a few new things. Tnx for sharing.
What’s a good way to take timed photos while doing a point of interest 360???
Excellent tips , learnt allot.
Greetings from Sunny Cape Town South Africa
Solid video! Thanks for all the tips!
Nice shot!! From Indonesia. 🇮🇩👋
I would get rid of the part saying experienced pilots don't need to watch your video. I'm an experienced pilot and I learned several things. This video is so well done. It will be referenced often I'm sure. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Well done.
Thank you very much it’s always appreciated when I hear people enjoy it

Great tips for a great drone!
can you do a video on binding the air 2 s with the smart controller?
Great work!👏

Yet another amazing tutorial!! Thank you. With we were closer and you had on hands classes.

Excellent video
Thank you
Thanks so much! Love this drone!
I am learning something new everyday...
always good to refresh our memory. Thank you
Thanks for the helpful tips. Question: Why is the battery level icon displaying feet and inch values?
Minutes and seconds.
Taking notes from you. My Air 2S is still on the way. Excited!!
Thank you very much for such an informative video tutorial! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾Thumbs-up for that! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Very useful tips! Thank you very much!
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed
Great video can’t learn enough keep it up air2 s army out
Hi. What’s the circle icon on minute 11:46, next to RC signal icon?
On the left, timer until battery is depleted. On the right, I believe it is AirSense new capability supporting RC, satellites, GPS and checks on front and back sensors. It is all safety measure to alert you if there is aircrafts in your flying zone and take precaution.
Even though aircrafts fly at high altitudes, the drones can still go haywire and it is the responsibility of the remote pilot.
@@WM-eg4gh yes, it’s in between the RC signal indicator and Sensors indicator…..
Nicely done tutorial and very helpful...thank you.
Thank you
Very good summary and tips, Thank you!

wow, I am using Iphone XS and dont have that problem. I have more of the issue with the drone heating up pretty quick and just noisy fan.
Thank you very much
Great tips...

Thank you for the tips.

Who else loves Air Photography?

Yup
Great video!
Thanks 🙏
does this drone have camera orientation ?
I don't have the zoom option for some reason,,,nor do I have the charging option for my phone in the settings... is there something I need to do to make them show up???
Very helpful. Thanks!
Great info, thanks!
Nice job!
Thank you
I have the Air 2, can I just buy the Air 2S (like a replacement) and use the same controller and batteries ?
I’m not 100% certain if DJI sells the Air 2S aircraft only. I know they do with other models. But indeed the controller and batteries are the exact same for both models so if you can find one, you don’t need to re-purchase.

Can u drop the link, I wanna download the app
good information
The zoom feature doesn’t work when drone is set to D-log it seems.
where do i get this app from is it called DJI FLY app ????
sweet
What would you do if you lose connection with your drone? I had a situation last summer where I flew to a distance beyond sight of my drone and I got an alarm for lost connection
In theory if there is a disconnection the drone should just come back to the point where it took off from and automatically land
Bypass doesn't enable
I'm wondering why?
Today I updated my fly app. (to Version 1.5.10)
I was very hopefull that the issue that the Tripltek 8pro will not write the Videos in the cache is eliminated. I tryed and, yipie, it stored the Video in the App in a lower resolution. Mine does not have the 1X on the screen
Moi je vais acheter ça comment on fait
At the point of air sense it just says manned aircraft what about unmanned ones
