I was getting about same with 2.3 dci Navara TwinTurbo 190hp (2016) -6M , is yours automatic? is the Toyota Diesel 2.4 more relyable and "low'er stress" engine than the 2.8 toyota? How about city consumption?
Mine is Automatic. About the reliability, both the 2.4 and 2.8 should be very problem free and good engines. City consumption is bad, I usually get 13 to 14 l /100km+
@@whr_vlogsI literally just got off the car now and just got 7.4L/100km on a quick 80km drive. No hypermiling and I was cruising past everyone on the road. I think we have the same size tires too, 30.5inches. Mine might actually be heavier cause its a 10ply K02.
Great job. All I needed to know
You're welcome!

I've the petrol version. I want to know if petrol consumes more than diesel or its same type of consumption
How is the fuel economy? Is it much worse than the Diesel?
It must be worse i guess 20L/140-160 km@@whr_vlogs
I at 9.9l - 10l with OME lift, snorkel, 255/75/r17 KO2 and 50 kg in the back
That’s not too bad I think
What was your consumption at 120?
Around 7,5 to 8,5 l/100km. It's not much worse on 130.
I easily get 7L/100km on my Hilux 2.4 w/ 6MT without even trying. Can do around 5.8-6L/100km if I maintain around 80kph.
Mine can't go lower mostly because of the tyres I think. If I maintain 80kph it is the most frugal, but under 7l is impossible for me.
