A real bittersweet ending. Paul tries so hard to avoid the future where he starts a holy war. But then that subdued tone "Lead them to paradise" and cutting to the fremen loading up for war was just perfect.
at 2:09 we start to hear Caladan's motif played on what seems like a Baliset. At first being played in fragments. Then the melody continues until it becomes whole again at 3:09. Perhaps somewhere in Paul's mind he still thinks of Caladan. Yearning for peace but still knowing he can't go back.
I was thinking the melody building up is mirroring prescience - we've heard it so often throughout the movie that as soon as the first 3 notes play, we know how it will play out. Now we just wait for it to slowly peak.
Just saw the film.. Must say it's the movie of the year for me.. Keep you on your feet and understanding the thoughts and emotions and motivations for every character. Close your eyes and you'll be brought to the sand dunes and moments in the movie.. Hands up to hans zimmer! Love it!

I really like how this sound so cold and strategic in rhythm like something you’d listen to when playing chess… it grasps the nature of LISAN Al GAIB… how the manipulation, deception, and plotting throughout the movie gave birth to the legend. Not just a messiah - but a man with a taste for power to rule over the entire galaxy with an iron grip Perfect music to listen to while forming the galactic imperium in stellaris as I plot through the politics of the galaxy and rise as the sovereign ruler of all worlds
Something that I found pretty cool is Lisan Al Gaib uses similar motifs as Paul’s Dream from The Dune Part 1 Sketchbook tracks. As Paul’s Dream ultimately does come into fruition Lisan Gaib is a quite the cathartic resolution.
This is how you make a sequel soundtrack! Same themes but new compositions. That is what I hated with Avatar 2. It sounded like they copy/pasted it from the first. THIS is the shiat 👍
To be fair, James Horner died before he could make the Avatar 2 soundtrack, so the new guy was probably more interested in giving tribute to Horner's original score.
