She put a palm against his cheek. "I'm no longer afraid, Usul. Look at me. I see what you see when you hold me thus." "What do you see?". He demanded. "I see us giving love to each other in a time of quiet between storms. It's what we were meant to do."

There is so much pain in this melody. I can feel it express the tragedy of Paul's family; the family that was on Caladan, and the family that is to come on Arrakis. When Paul and Chani kiss, it is not just a crucial moment for this movie but for the entire Universe, for it seals their fates, their children's fate, Paul's mother's and sister's fate, and all those that inhabit the Empire. It is a stolen kiss in a private moment, yet it resonates across the Empire and affects every person in it.

This film is 2 hours and 45 minutes long, but it doesn't feel that long at all. It's because of the slow pace at which the story is told in combination with this beautiful music by Hans Zimmer and the stunning visuals. You just never get bored and are carried along through the film. It's just a masterpiece and a once in a lifetime experience!
The kiss atop the sand dune is the moment where the story turns even more tragic...for those who read the books. This music captures that moment perfectly!

I love this track and feel like it encapsulates the journey of the entire film so breathlessly. Spoilers about how: Thunderous sounds at the beginning are the echoing nightmares of being one of few survivors of the raid on his house. Paul and his mom are striking out on their own with a single pipe representing him. With the low pipe tones they mournfully find some peace in and security with the Fremen in the aftermath of destruction. Yet they are isolated in the ever-present sand swirling around it all, guided by visions from the spice it contains. Then the strings come in as Chani takes him in, harmonizing with the pipe as he becomes more emboldened and empowered. Together Chani and Paul thread this needle of tentative love and become stronger together. The pipe is still mournfully searching and meandering in low tones, seeking a foothold and a way of redemption through the trauma. Some vocals kick in, indicating the faith of the Fremen in him is growing as he gains trust. They share their wisdom and hope together as he learns their ways. The strings, vocals, and pipe join together increasingly, coalescing around the pipe until many strings and voices surge together with the pipe’s rising intensity. His mom’s position as Reverend Mother and his growing influence among the Fremen synergize. At the end, their combined powers grow so mighty and concentrated around Paul that it becomes a blaring echoing horn reaching out into the galaxy. It turns into a synthesizer, forming the future to come from the earlier instruments. Individuality blurs into a fanatic movement with Paul an echoing pipe in the center. Meanwhile the strings of Chani tenuously ring out from an increasing distance, maintaining true to herself, wrapped up around Paul but disillusioned in the the turn of the movement. The sounds of the sands stretch onward.

Disney, Bob Iger, I hope you watched this movie and realized what Star Wars can potentially be with heart, vision and soul poured into the production and story
This track is so beautiful. It gives peace in restless, in deep anxiety and hopeless times. The peace of the dunes, I can feel it. The wispering sands are coming to live before my closed eyes, the sunrises und sunsets. The warm and lifespending colours. The water that spending life, everything survives in this hard environment. Mua'dib that shows the way. Dune and the fremen are healing from traumatic journey that Paul makes until his death. It lead him to growth, to personal development, give him so much inner strength and at last peace. With this music, we are presented with peaceful sleep, no more pain and sorrow. Everything will become clear and there is still hope. A so deep an powerful masterpiece played by such emotional Duduk. May Shai-hulud protect us.

A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct. This every sister of the Bene Gesserit knows. To begin your study of the life of Maud'Dib, then, take care that you first place him in his time: born in the 57th year of the Padishah Emperor, Shaddam IV. And take the most special care that you locate Maud'Dib in his place: the planet Arrakis. Do not be deceived by the fact that he was born on Caladan and lived his first fifteen years there. Arrakis, the planet known as Dune, is forever his place. - from "Manual of Muad'Dib" by The Princess Irulan
The main theme melody of Dune 2 that begins at 7:11 is borrowed from The Fifth Element Original Motion Picture Soundtrack written by Eric Serra. The Fifth Element cues from the great French composer Eric Serra which contain this signature 4-note melodic phrase are as follows: "Koolen", "Human Nature", "Mina Hinoo", "Leeloominai", "Protect Life", "Five Millenia Later". The Armenian Duduk is the featured signature melody instrument on The Fifth Element Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
I enjoyed the first film. The music was a bit too raw for my taste, but overall it enhanced the experience. Dune Part 2 was a completely different story. Yesss! When I first listened to the theme of House Atreides my eyes watered a little bit. So beautiful and powerful!
Vielen Dank Hans Zimmer !
This moves me. Like really moves me. I cry when I hear this.
This is the most beautiful piece ever, been humming this song since the drop.
Hans Zimmer has done it once again! The soundtrack for the first Dune was unlike anything that I've ever heard in a movie, and the soundtrack for Part Two is just as phenomenal, if not better!!! I can't wait to hear this in the theater next week!!! "Long live the fighters!"
The Spirit of the desert 🤩🤩
The Armenian duduk is simply a miracle, magic
One of the greatest soundtracks of all time!
Armenian duduk sounds just perfect for Dune Part Two 😍😍🥺🥺🚀🚀
This song reminds me of watching the sunrise in the Middle East after a long combat sortie. I feel sadness for the things we did to each other. I feel amazement at the beauty of sunrise in the desert. I feel a deep ache and longing to go home and be at peace.
Disney, Bob Iger, I hope you watched this movie and realized what Star Wars can potentially be with heart, vision and soul poured into the production and story

Hans Zimmer been cookin' with that spice!
GOAT movie GOAT soundtrack
Its been 10 months since the movie released, I cant believe time flies so fast.
The Last Samurai, Gladiator, Dune Part Two
currently watched twice in cinema/theatres on the big screen planning to watch again on big screen at least 2 more times. nothing short of brilliant my favourite film of all time.
The scene where Paul manages his first sandworm ride, the crowd erupted in cheers and applauses in the theatre. Last time I saw this happen was back in 2012. Only very special movies can get the audience to feel so motivated and involved.
me too bro
@@seukfuhiwhat movie was that? The dark knight rises?
@@Adriana-eu6tyNope, Skyfall (James Bond séries), when Bond finds back his 1965 Austin Martin. Saw it twice in theatre, and both times, people began applauding as it happened.
Unfathomable beauty leaving bewildered tears on my face.
It’s almost too beautiful
Dune 2000 was my entry point to the franchise when I was 12 years old or some. Now I'm ready for Part 2. Long live the fighters!
The Dune miniseries was also my introduction to Dune. I saw Part 2 a couple days ago at the IMAX early screening and it was fantastic! Hope you enjoy it as much as everyone in my theater did. :)
Long live the fighters!
Dune 2 was my entry point to the franchise when I was 8 or 9. Loved everything about the houses, the spice, Arrakis and the world around it.
This music from the movie and the movie itself was amazing!
@@TimeandMonotony I did see the mini series, but I was referring to the Dune 2000 PC game!
@gastonsepulveda9187 Oh whoops! There's so much Dune media haha
When we look back at soundtrack trilogies that make history in the cinema sphere, we gotta talk about lotr, godfather or others... Zimmer just made a banger that in a very few years is going to be considered a masterpiece
Hans Zimmer is an amazing composer. His music makes Dune epic, I can't imagine anyone could have done the film any better justice.

I cry everytime I listen to this.
After the end of this movie I sat silently in the theater through the entire credits. It chilled me even more than the ending of Oppenheimer.
The transition from thumper to music was amazing in the movie. This is the best soundtrack to listen to, I'm so moved.
Very delicate indeed & loving the Blade Runner vibe
The main theme melody of Dune 2 that begins at 7:11 is borrowed from The Fifth Element Original Motion Picture Soundtrack written by Eric Serra. The Fifth Element cues from the great French composer Eric Serra which contain this signature 4-note melodic phrase are as follows: "Koolen", "Human Nature", "Mina Hinoo", "Leeloominai", "Protect Life", "Five Millenia Later". The Armenian Duduk is the featured signature melody instrument on The Fifth Element Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
Makes the hairs in the back of my neck stand, words cannot describe how amazing the movie and soundtrack were
This song makes me cry now.
I enjoyed the first film. The music was a bit too raw for my taste, but overall it enhanced the experience. Dune Part 2 was a completely different story. I was absolutely blown away by this movie and this time around I really felt Hans Zimmer's music. It not only made the atmosphere much fuller, but it straight up carried some of the best scenes. Everyone who worked on this film simply did an amazing job.
I think this piece of music and the cinematography are the best aspects of the film.
Immaculate. Beautiful. No words can describe. This will forever be a timeless film and score. Shivers all down my body. Thank you!
Tragic, yet beautiful
Waited years for this song. Zimmer is a true genius who knows how to touch the human soul through music.
Psychedelic Romance and Jihad. Long Live the Fighters.
Everything about this movie and this soundtrack is incredible. The world needs more Villeneuve and Zimmer 🙏🏽
I'm glad to read that others feel the same way. Listening to this music brings tears to my eyes or gives me goosebumps all over my body. I thought I wasn't completely normal anymore. I'm 56 and then reactions like that.
What point does he trigger at us?
The longing for peace, for the beauty of nature...?
I'm going to travel 1.100KM to watch this in IMAX. And I can say upfront, it is going to be totally worth it!
It totally does.
Ганс Циммер гений нашего времени. Спасибо ему за эти шедевры!!!
I've seen DUNE 2 twice at my local theatre and going to book in to watch it a third time at IMAX in the city. This movie has really impacted my soul in ways I can't put into words. This track tugs at something deep inside me.
An absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack. This was the scene where Paul and Chani share their first kiss. Not going to lie, it was one of the most beautiful and romantic scenes I've ever seen in a movie.
Best movie in decades.
I was spiritually moved
this track makes me crazy, feeling like wonderful universe journey
Simply a sensational symphony of audiophonical brilliance, ethereal elegance wrapped in the love of every note. It's back to the drawing board with my music!
Amazing melody and composition
