So good 👍
Thank you 😋
FABULOUS VIDEO! Would love to see more of your new home as you continue to settle in and decorate. The garden and that mountain view are lovely!
Update video coming soon. Lots of improvements and changes. So nice and comfortable.
Hello! Great video, beautiful and clean water. Thank you!
Thank you too
Glad you stopped and listened to the happy and hysterical customer service steward at the Chumphon Lamprayah Terminal? Such a nice person! had a lovely chat when we were there 😃
We had exactly the same experience with the Lomprayah taxi in Koh Samui, a thirty minute walk with me carrying all the luggage from our trip, as hubs had hurt his back! We ended up getting another taxi which cost the same as we would have spent. I sent them an email about it but by the sound of it they make a habit of not ensuring customer satisfaction! Won't be risking that again next time we're over. Glad you told us thank you,
Another great vlog thank you
Thank you. I have to get the lady boy on video... I really appreciate the job well done they do... the taxi... whole other story...
glad youre enjoying south africa
Haven't been to South Africa yet...
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
We stayed at Pimmada Hut, 340 metres up the beach from Sea Scene - VERY BASIC!!
If you get the chance and spend time in Chumphon, the Khao Matsee viewpoint is well worth a visit and Pharadonphap Beach, close by - "During the World War II, Japanese troops invaded many areas in Thailand, including Chumphon province causing the fight between two sides. After the fight ended, the peace treaty was made here and thereby the name of the beach "Pharadonphap" which means "brotherhood"." - excerpt from Tourism Thailand
Thanks for sharing!!! Appreciate the history.
Koh Samui is the 2nd largest island in Thailand, Koh Phangan is the 5th largest island! Koh Chang and Koh Tarutao are the 3rd and 4th islands in size! I would of stayed on Kao Tao on the way too, it’s a beautiful island as well 🏝️
Thanks for the info! I get my island sizes confused 😀. We love Koh Tao too!!!
Great video,,, didn't realise you paired dived so much until I started watching your older videos,,, so wished we had jumped under the water while travelling through Vietnam . Keep on Keeping on,,,, So miss the people and the food!
We hope to dive a lot more. Happy to have started, so much fun.
Great way to get back to it!
Not even a day off and back at it!!! Planning a lot of adventures over the next 3 months!!!
Nice work on the video sweetheart!!!
Thank you!!
Nice video, I too did not realize the ferry was that near. Enjoy your time together and should see you in the fall! I was actually trying to set up short notice trip next week but had a serious family issue come out the blue yesterday. I will see how it shakes out after some appointments next week, maybe I will show up.
See you soon and hopefully everything works out for you.
I've subscribed to you both. Hope you guys will have a great time in Thailand. Me myself lives in Bangkok, moved 9 years ago. But looking for a villa in Hua Hin, for retirment.
We like Hua Hin a lot... has everything but not too much of anything, if that makes sense.
Wow, I had no idea the ferry was close. I thought I had to drive all the way to Surat Thani ferry. Do you think the ferry from Chumphon eventually goes to Koh Samui?
Yes, it does... stops at Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and then Koh Samui. Probably 3.5 hours total.
Wow huge sandwich
And good... and not expensive:)
Hi Kim & Dave, do you put Zoe in kennels when you go on your trips? Just asking as we have two dogs that we will be bringing over with us. I did see there is a kennels in Hua Hin have you used them before?
Yes, we use Pet Time exclusively for kennel and vet services. The cost is about $15 USD per day.
You guys have good appetites 😏
We love to eat.
hows the experience with the mosquitos?
Almost non existent. Thought they would be bad but they are not.
55 dollars for such a simple place, wow.
Should see the shit hole we paid $180 USD for in the US...
@@AlmostRetiredinThailand I compare a local offer with other local offers and not with those in other countries. In this respect, the $55 for this place is just as inappropriate as $180 in the USA. There are also Thai people who travel to Koh Phangan on their Thai salary.
2nd largest, bwahaha bwahaha
My mistake, back to geography class.
Nowhere in the Gulf of Thailand has ocean views. It's a sea not an ocean. Every North American seems to get this wrong in every video, why?
When you are standing on a beach and not looking at a map, feels exactly the same as every real ocean I have been to... thanks for the correction though.
