LAY HO MA! I hope you’re keeping well and cooking well ☺️ I don’t know about you, but this drool worthy recipe is gonna be a weekly staple 🍔 btw, if you’re new to the channel, welcome! I’m glad you’re here. For more info on the cookbooks or to watch the first entire class of the plantbased sushi masterclass, visit www.yeungmancooking.com happy cooking 🥳
Thank you so very for your channel....my cancer cell count is going down because of your channel & recipes! I'm grateful for you because I can use your recipes for Tempeh & TVP as well. Your cookbooks are #1 on my priority list when I get home!!!!💗🙏
Tried this out for dinner and my gf couldn't stop telling me how good this was. It was so good, I decided to come back to your video just to tell you how good it was... I never do that!
I just made this tonight and I was very surprised how delicious it is! I'm 60 and became a vegetarian last year! I know it's not vegan but I'm very happy I made the switch. I even built myself 3 raised beds and started a garden which is great. I've made 2 of your Ramen dishes and they too were delicious. I'm very thankful for you and all you do! My daughters already know what I want for Christmas (your cookbooks) so I seriously can't wait!
I’ve made a few of your recipes and I love sophisticated each one is but also easy to follow. I also admire how genuine you are about your craft and not pretentious like some Chefs.
I am seriously appreciating all of the extra tips you offer around technique. It makes such a huge difference in how your recipes turn out when I'm trying them. You are now influencing about 70% of the meals I'm cooking. (I think this means it's time to buy your books now!) But seriously, thank you for how much you've improved the quality and taste of what happens in my kitchen!
I made this today for my family and we just finished our dinner. It was a beautiful combination. Even my meat lover 5 yr old munched down the tofu patty. We are transitioning into veganism and your channel has made it easy. We tried and loved the Cauliflower fried rice, Poke bowl, and fresh summer roles. All the dressing were amazing flavourful bombs 💥 My next goal is to make the chilli oil and try out the ramen. Thanks so much for the inspiration 😊
“Have a healthy sense of pride.” Wil is serving us some life lessons throughout this video definitely. Cooking is a process of indefinite learning, as he shows us in every video he releases. But this time Wil is more verbally expressive. It's a nice feeling to follow through.
Aside from the fact that every single one of your recipes I have tried is so phenomenal and that even I can make them taste good, one of the other reasons I love, love, love your channel is because it is like watching a short movie, lol! The videography, your own presentation, the beautiful music, everything is so well organized. It is always a treat! I loved that you gave some awesome knife skill tips too, that is great! Thank you Wil, for sharing your passion! 😊👍💖
Your channel is THE best on the internet!!! OMG !! I am a Carnivore!!! And you have SO increased my palette and sides I serve with meat.... Also, I am more plant based now, thanks to you!!!!
I made this last night and OMG. This was delicious! I was afraid the tofu would be dry, but not at all! It was like eating a chicken fastfood burger ( as i remember it ). THANK YOU :)
Now you're teaching us how to chop vegetables, your channel is awesome man I love everything about your videos, from your teaching to tips to music to voice to spiky hair to recipes
This is very good!! I have a couple suggestions for anyone who might try the recipe: 1. I cut a block of tofu into four pieces as shown in video. Doing it that way, the half cup of flour mixture was WAY too much batter for four slices of tofu. Next time I might try cutting the block of tofu into smaller pieces which would create more surface area and might use up more the batter, OR starting with a 1/4 cup of flour. (Because I did like the fat tofu pieces!) It did require more than a splash of water for me, even for a thick batter, I also cooked mine in the air fryer for a bit of a healthier sandwich and it worked great. I might also experiment with some chili oil and other flavorings to kick up the flavor in the batter. But all that said -this is a delicious recipe, and super easy so I know I'll be making it again. Love your channel Yeung Man Cooking!
I am so glad to have found your channel! I have had to make huge changes to my eating habits & am trying to go mostly plant based & meat free. Being a Wisconsin cheese head, giving up the dairy has been hard but I am so grateful for almond milk & plant based butter. You are really helping me so much. I love crunchy. crispy meats so I love some of the recipes you have & am looking forward to more. My daughter has heart failure & lives off all the wrong foods like I did. Hoping I can get her to try some of your recipes & off all the junk. Thank you for sharing I wish I would have found this yrs ago.!
I just love your recipes not because of just the recipes are good but you have shown the cooking as a complete different dimension, attention to detailing in minute things.. I am just in love with cutting vegetables.. and to maintain a good knife coz i realize the whole power of cooking is in the sharpness of knife and how fine the veggies are cut. keep going.. we all love you 🤩 I tried your tofu bowl recipe, chickpea rice bowl and noodles recipe.. my husband liked all the dishes.. Love you Yeung..
Your recipes have really helped me. I have to cut back on protein, especially animal protein because of my kidneys. It's great to find tasty alternatives.
Hi , I absolutely love your channel. Proof that your the greatest for me is I never fast forward your videos. I savor and learn from all you say. Thank you for sharing your love of food with us 😊🥰😊
The simplicity of this recipe is pure genius! Definitely on the menu for the weekend. BTW. My sister loves her Cook With Confidence cookbook I got her for her birthday! We’re a continent away from each other but we come together over sharing what we cook from your book and your channel. Thank you, Wil!
In addition to the awesomely good recipes you cook, I love that you usually only cook up 1-2 servings. I live by myself, and cooking for one can be a challenge. Most other channels cook up huge amounts of food, and I have to monkey with the recipe to get it down to a yield that works for me.
Hey! I'm absolutely in love with your recipes and appreciate them a lot since I'm vegan and most of the recipies I see are not. I appreciate it so so much. Thankyou.
@@nicolaybastos Hi Nicolas! It is a Henckels’ Zwilling knife….I’ve got two and I love them. The only one who is allowed handling and whetting (sharpening) them is me…🤗

This took a bit of time (the careful thinly slicing of the vegetable slaw) but it was worth it. My husband and I both loved it. Yum! The slaw, like you said, was delicious on its own. Thanks for a great recipe. I’m looking forward to trying more tofu recipes. I love your program channel!
Everything about your channel is, inspirational. I never get tired of just watching your incredible, knife skills! Looks so Good!.. lighting, music, tempo, freshness, color, … and of course, appetizing, recipes!
Dude! Love it all, even the humor! I've made ramens, homemade ramen noodles, countless rice and noodle recipes, soups, chili oil, curries, etc. and I'm only a "mostly" vegan! But it's true that you really gain confidence because believe me I had zero confidence when I started. Not everything has come out great, but for the most part, I've made the most flavorful dishes of my life thanks to you and your channel (I'm really really close to getting an actual cook book, but now with 3, it's like decisions decisions!) In all seriousness, I watch a lot of youtube and mostly cooking videos and yer definitely the best and it isn't even close! I mean that sincerely. Keep up the good work and eventually, I might even get enough confidence to tackle the cheese cake! Macha swirls and all!! Much appreciation!!!

I just made a grocery list for the Labor Day weekend after watching these videos. I will be making several of Yeung Man's no meat recipes - the katsu burger, chickpea mayo, katsu fingers, pad thai, and coconut chickpeas and rice. I am not vegan!
