PTU transfers pressure between green and yellow hydraulic systems, powered by L and R engines respectively. Yellow also has a second electric pump. If there is pressure differential such as between engine starts, PTU activates. If doing single engine taxi on L engine, the Yellow electric pump can be run to avoid the PTU barking.
The startup sound of the A320 has a huge sense of occasion for me. I travel on flights rarely, but when I do, I love the A320's gentle startup whine a lot!
That sound is not the flaps its the PTU or power transfer unit. It controls and regulates the blue green and yellow hydraulic systems on all aircraft but the planes you can hear it the most in are the A320 and A321
i think its the just the humming sound in generaly syyncing with eachother because of the factt tehat we arent perfect and one throttle stick is proabably ever ever evfer so slighter high than the other allowing a slightly hight throttle for that engines which cause them to sync then unsync

The TPU (the dog barking under the cabin) is one of my favorite sounds, it makes me excited I'm going to fly!

So this was Air Asia A320 at Kuala Lumpur, they use CFM 56, sounds nice!
No it's a v 2500
an a320 has two engine option teh cfm 56 and teh v2500 i think thoguh its more common for the v2500 or the cfm 56 is used on the a321
Most iconic part of a320, the dog bark
The sound in 0:48 was the sound of the electrical pumps ?
It's the sound of the hydraulic PTU system
The electric hydraulic pump comes on at 0:36.

Where is that continuous humming sound coming from that is in sync with the engine throttle input? Is that the Engine Driven Pump?
i think its the just the humming sound in generaly syyncing with eachother because of the factt tehat we arent perfect and one throttle stick is proabably ever ever evfer so slighter high than the other allowing a slightly hight throttle for that engines which cause them to sync then unsync
Is that PTU Sound?? 0:48
