- It's a great time to be Lowe's and a bad time to be my wallet! These sets are awesome and the whole KNECT system I think will be a great way to condense your tool bag. Check it out!

Retired electrician here. Wow it would’ve been nice to have those 40 years ago‼️
What a time to be a young electrician!
"Unwired" Nice name for a retired electrician. I'm also a retired industrial electrician, retired 12 years ago and I'm 74, still using my tools. Still buy tools as well. These Klein sockets are pretty cool.
@@dcrickerson7611 we full time in a 5th wheel. My tools get plenty of use👍
Would have been nice 20 years ago! 😂
I used to build quick connect screw drivers with the handles from Klien 6 in 1s. I'm glad to see Klein innovate.
i don’t understand why younger people don’t go in to the trades we have so many tools to make jobs easier
As a mechanic who works on Brunswick pinsetters from the 1950's which is 100% SAE......Klein's about to get my money.
Thanks. The tools are multiple times described as"Sick" . .too bad. . hope they get well soon
I’ll be visiting America soon, and these have just been added to my list.🇬🇧
I’m looking forward to the stubby too!!
You convinced me. Just ordered both sets on Lowe's website. I've been looking for a compact socket set for my main tool bag for a while now, and these look like they'll fit nicely.
Those sets are impressive. Klein really stepping up here with this offering. A lot of features especially when you add in the 11 in 1 or impact I d say Klein has got a winner with these sets.
Yeah besides no metric lol
Nice work Klein!
Thank you for that! I’m going to have to pick one up for all my unistruit builds
That seems like a really nifty tool. Gonna pick one up
Great video! Thanks for showing what’s out there, this is a gotta have!
I drilled a hole through my racheting screwdriver to make it a full pass through.... It will probably gunk up the racheting mechanism but we'll see... Also id like to see the sockets have the built in magnet but they don't
I always appreciate good content on interesting tools in general, regardless of the brand. So thank you for these klein videos. i was already a big fan of their impact screwdrivers, but this is the first time I’ve seen these socket sets. I’m strongly considering getting them now.
Glad I could show it to you!
Nice to see that Klein is coming up with some new hand tools
Thanks you for a helpful and interesting presentation. It really helps to know the options with Klein tools.
Seems real handy gonna have to pick these up…. Would lighten my tool bag
I just hate they don't have the metric sizes.
what sizes would you like if you had to choose 6 and what would you use them for?
These look like a very similar design to the old GearRatchet tools from about 20 years ago, with some nice improvements. I’ve missed them ever since they stopped making them, they made one of the most complete and useful tools sets I’ve ever seen, and used sets are getting harder to find. This is not exactly a brand new concept, but I am very glad another company has picked up the design again and is carrying it forward.
Bought several sets of the gear wrench set of both metric and standard sets on closeout at a local farm store. Gave both my boys a set at Christmas that year. We are all still using them.
Craftsman had a pass thru set from smallest up to 3/4 and Metric up to 19, no skips , it came with screwdriver too, I'm going to ad the impact adapter thats the only "new" tool. Wish it had a 3/8 adapter to use these sockets with milwaukee impact! GOOD VID!
Awesome video man
Wish they made metric and complete sets. I know their focus is electric but I would use it as a mechanic for light jobs all day long.
I thought the same thing. A metric set would be a great addition.

Wish Klein Tools made *Metric* 🪛 sizes Nut Drivers and Sockets as well!
what sizes would you like if you had to choose 6? what would you use them for?
Just bought the 65400 at lowes today, they're finally available!
Waiting, want these for the snowmobile and motorcycle repair kit. Need metric. This will cut down on tools and be able to do major repairs. Thanks for the review.
those are sick!!!!
These sets are awesome
Klein content is good, keep at it please! Thanks!
Nice set . Can’t wait for the metric set .
what sizes would you like if you had to choose 6?
Keep the klein videos coming.
There is now a recall on KNECT 65400
already picked up the 65-300 set and really impressed. following your link to the 65-400 medium set at lowes and they state it's no longer available. going to have to keep looking!
Its dropping soon!
@@five6aceinyaface
Is it? I've been looking for it everywhere
Don't quit on the klein videos now there's new tools coming out .
Where was this a year ago!? I wound up having to research and buy 3 different products from different brands to put together a set that takes up 3 times the amount of space as this does, and isn't something you can easily carry around. This is exactly what I was looking for a year ago! Now Klein needs to make the Cresent wrench with the other end a pass thru socket to go with it!!! I wonder is my Crescent would fit the larger set.
The medium set uses a 5/8 12 point with a retaining ring. If your crescent wrench has that maybe it'll work.
You should also be able to slip the extensions in the screwdriver handle then slip the screwdriver in the extension in the event that you really need a couple extra inches of reach.
I did try that, but the middle adapter won't go into the extension. You could use the 1/4 socket on the extension with one of the screwdriver halves to get more reach though.
These aren't even on kleins actual website yet. I cant seem to find the 11 in 1 impact rated ratchet anywhere, yet it's all over my feed!!
Thanks for the video. These are cool sets. Right after I saw the video yesterday I went online and saw the same thing that the other guy did that they don’t show the 3/8” set but they did show 2 of the 1/4” sets at the closest Lowe’s to me. So I drive 20 minutes get to the store, they can’t find them. I leave call another store that is about 30 minutes from me that shows they have 3. The guy looks all over can’t find them. He takes my number in case they come in. I figure I will just order it online. I get home the guy calls he found them. So long story short I got the 1/4” set still looking for 3/8”.
Yeah I just ordered both. Hopefully the 3/8 set will come back in stock
Love these sets but i do wish they were a little cheaper 50 is high for the small set…
If yall are looking, you need to call local distributors that sell klein. And special order the 65400.
I wish they did this exact setup with a flex head ratchet 🤷♂️ almost perfect but still pretty sweet
Might be something coming in the future. I think a metric set would be nice too.
Bacho do the S140T and S530 pass through socket sets that have a flex head, but they aren't impact rated. Would be interesting if they have the same fit though and go in the screwdriver handle.
@@three-phase562I will have to check that out. I ended up getting a gearwrench 3/8 set. Only used it a couple times but it’s solid but still not flexhead. Nice to have that option it I’m in a some gear or a panel that is a little funky
@@nachoisme In 3/8 pass through drive Gearwrench do make a wrench with a flexible head, the wrench on its own is part number 893800. I just looked at my Bahco set this morning and it is a hexagon drive with retaining detents, so doesn't look to be compatible with either Gearwrench or the Klein in this video.
a proper alan key or nut driver set will be a lot slender and get into tight places
what about the bits with the (sleeves) that hold the bits, the phillips , 5/16, 3/8 ect... just use the bit that i have missing in my original 11 in 1 nut driver
I love Klein tools
Klein is slick. Buy this configuration and release set yesr from now lol.
Bro the hot hands come in handy on those random piss tests out here in my local . Go Klein
How so? Pass on the knowledge!
Synthetic piss has to be kept at a certain temperature to pass the tests 😂
Craftsman has had the pass through sockets nearly 20 years ago.
Does the bigger set also fit the ratcheting 11 n 1?
Does the 9/16 fit into 1 5/8 strut??
would the 11 in 1 impact ratchet shaft fit in the standard 11 in 1 impact driver? i have the original impact 11 in 1 but its missing some bits so i was thinking of buying the ratcheting 11 in 1 and using the handle just for the the socket set and using the ratcheting impacts 11 in 1 ahaft to put in my original 11 in 1 .. thanks much
The bits and nut drivers will work but the center piece is different. It will fit in but the retention mechanism is a different design so it won't hold in the handle.
Did the 65400 get recalled? I tried buying this at my local Lowe’s and they wouldn’t let me purchase it…
I just discovered these! But really, SAE only? What year is this?
Is the 20 in 1 part of the knect ?
Are they going to ever come out with revolutionary metric socket sets??? 😂😂😂 maybe OK for a tool kit for my harley, and 66 ford custom 500
Great looking tool set but who are they targeting as the world has moved on to metric?
👍👍
On the Christmas list 😮 lol
I replaced the struts on my car recently and had to buy a cheap pass though set from harbor freight. If this came in metric that would be awesome but I understand klein isn't a mechanic brand.
I hope they hear you and market towards all trades.
what sizes would you like if you had to choose 6?
@cameronknauth5984 maybe 6mm though 16mm or something.
Everyone complaining about it not being available in metric. I'm more upset that its not available in Canada! Since lowes up and left the Canadian market and Rona doesn't carry Klein... guess I need to make a trip across the border.
I have a craftsman set that does the same thing, and I got that ten plus years ago. This isn't new. I rarely use it...sort of an impulse buy that I really don't ever need.
That back drag seems pretty excessive from the looks of you turning them by hand. In the last 2 weeks I just got a 1/4 inch Koken ratchet. Due to the fact of their extremely low back drag and I was completely taken back by how little back drag they have. And it was only $32. It did take a little while to get here from Japan. But that little weight is well worth it for the back drag it has. Something tells me I'm not going to use any of my other 1/4 inch ratchets which include Craftsman, Easco and Bacho.(this one is somewhat newer and I was very disappointed with the hardback dragon has it is almost the same as my Craftsman and it's supposed to have the same guts as a Snap-On, something does not add up right??
Hey man can I pay you to buy that other set from you I can’t find it anywhere
im down to buy, do u have affiliate? always like to pay it forward... SFMF
Not bad
Does the bigger socket set also fit the hollo shaft 11-1 ?
No it's just the small set
@@JonathanLD312 ok awesome thank you for the reply. Looks like I'm buying both 😁. Great review 👍
Where can i get that screwdriver ?
So
Lows doesn’t carry the medium set anymore? Can’t even find the medium set anywhere
I don't know what's going on with it. Maybe a gap in supply and they'll have more closer to Christmas.
I been trying to pickup the 3/8 set from Lowe’s for the past week or so but it says No longer available!
I noticed that. Hopefully they fix it soon.
Am not an electrician or mechanic, just a weekend DIY guy and am wondering why not just get ratchet wrenches for probably 1/3 of the price.
Not in Canada yet
wait.. so does the 65400 also fit in the screwdriver?
No just the 65300
Why am I struggling to find them online? Where can I buy?
It should be on Lowe's. Search the part numbers
I can’t order the medium size, lowes isn’t selling it anymore 😢 please someone sell me theirs I need it
Should have put links to all of those.
I've updated the description with links
My Klein Tool group said these were recently recalled? Anyone know if this is true and why?
65400 will be hitting stores really soon
Can't find them
After watching several reviews of these Knect kits, I purchased the smaller set from Lowe's. The 12 point insert on the ratcheting handle was loose and would not stay secure in the handle, so I returned it and the new set is fine. I like how it integrates with the 11-in-1 ratcheting screwdriver. The selection of bits is great. I wish they would make a version with metric sockets and hex head bits, though. From a pure screwdriver perspective, I still like my Chapman Master Set.
That was made that way obviously but you aren’t busting bigger than 3/8 anyway
It's sad there not made in the USA
somebody *did* say pass-thru!!
subbed!
I may be wrong but the pass through connector looks the same as Gearwrench and Crescent. I would love to know if these are compatible
How much??
Do you have to be an electrician to use these tools..?
Man SAE is so hard when you’re used to metric. I can’t visualise 9/32 lol. I can barely visualise 1/32, let alone guess how big 9/32 would be. I can remember close to what size it is by memory, but 7/64 would make zero sense to me if I’d never seen that bit before.
Klein makes some decent hand tools and I have many, but these miss the mark for me. They are not compatible with the other pass thru sets out there (Grearwrench, Crescent, etc.), especially if you desire metric sockets.
The drive system looks like Gearwrench's pass through drive system..🤔
Hoho 😂😂wow are the socket 6 point or 12 point 😮😮
The sockets themselves are 6 point
No links 🔗..
please provide links
Between klein and toughbuilt,,,my lowes card is getting heavier…..
Yeah toughbuilt is another one that's going ham right now haha
Cannot for the life of me find the 65400 anywhere
Pass through sockets/ratchets have been around for years in many different brands…
No metric? What’s up with that
Being that Klein caters more towards Electrical and HVAC, SAE is just about all they do. Would be nice to see a metric set though.
what sizes would you like if you had to choose 6? what would you use them for?
Lowes no longer sells the 65400
It seems like they're just having stocking issues right now. Most of the time they delete the item listing entirely if they stop selling it
Klein intergrate both
klien would take all my money if they made metric. My smooth brain doesn't do SAE.
what sizes would you like if you had to choose 6? and what would you use them for?
There out of stock
i dont like klein for simple fact no other impact bits will fit them only klein bits.
