If Klein made this a 3/8 metric set from 8mm to 22 or 24 mm it would be the perfect set for me . But it really is a nice set over all . Klein is putting out a lot of great tools right now .
There seems to be a lot of demand for metric. They are putting out some great stuff and making improvements on existing tools. That Ratcheting 11-in-1 has become my favorite screwdriver.
@@Steve-yu6pq not just toyota - 17 and 19 are ultra common everywhere. I hate skip-sets but not going to 19 is just a huge miss and would keep me from buying.

Looks like a nice socket set. The first time I got an 11 in 1 driver, I thought it was a neat idea. 2 years later with daily use, I'm on my 4th one. I am a maintenance worker, my tools regularly get wet. When the 11 in 1 gets wet, it rusts and you can't pull it out of the handle. They need a rust resistant coating on their tools.
If it’s regularly getting wet, you might be better off with the standard 11-in-1 or the magnetic 11-in-1 because they are both chrome coated which makes them more corrosion resistant. Thanks for watching!
I'm excited to see that Klein has finally acknowledged the metric system, but I wish they had started with the lug nut flip socket set. I had to buy a Neiko kit to keep in the vehicle. It was one of the smallest that came with a 22mm. Thanks for the in-depth review. Subscribed!
The first person who comes out with a 3/8 lug nut flip socket set is getting my money. 3/8 impacts are pretty strong these days and it's all I use for lugs. Not sure why nobody makes them yet
Klein did not have them in their website . You really got the jump on them and lucky for me, I scored. I messaged Klein you should get a spiff...Thnks.
Wish they would just do metric version of the first socket sets. Flip is cool and all but the other ones pass through which is the only reason I even bought it. Also upgrade the ratchet Klein.
There seems to be a lot of interest in metric. I liked that this set had both SAE and metric in a compact case. I’d like it even more compact. Thanks for sharing and watching! 👍
I know everyone likes the mod boxes, but I wanted to fit these in my bag, so I used the long shaft and attached two smaller sockets each end with two sockets in middle and worked it out so the smaller ones slipped into the larger ones, now what I have is two real long shafts the a shorter double connected together with a 3/8 adapter that has 1/4” shaft other end, fits together with a larger socket and small one, anyway this fits pretty compact in my bag. I’m sure there are plenty of other configurations as well
Oh wow, the ever illusive Klein 10mm socket! That makes this set alone worth it. Not sure why Klein can’t make a 3/8 metric set that includes a 10mm, but this is as close as it gets I guess.
here is what I just sent Klein "I really want to purchase the pass through ratchet set. However I really don't understand why there isn't a metric set... In a dream world you would just have the 65400 with an extra row of metric sockets (giving us an "all in one" kit condensing ALOT of space). Instead the only way I see myself getting metric sockets is buying the $100 flip socket set just so I can have some metric sockets then I'm left with a bunch of redundant imperial sizes in tern wasting a lot of valuable space... which is ridiculous. Seriously why don't yall offer a metric set. I would like to Klein's reasoning behind this perhaps I'm missing the point in all this."
A fun fact the 3/8th drive adaptor will also fit in the 11n1 Drive handle. So you'll have a driver ratchet, even pass through if you have that socket set too.
Its a great idea i just hate klein is reinventing the wheel with their proprietary spline for the sockets. A standard 1/4 square or 3/8 square would make this perfect. Especially for bolted connections haven't found a 1/4 hex torque wrench that goes up to 36ftlbs yet.
I wonder if it's possible to make the smallest deep well sockets using a 1/4" square drive... I think you wouldn't be able to make them in the flip socket style. Thanks for watching!
I simply wanted a SAE+Metric set that works with wrench, work as a nut driver with 32500HDRT and work with 1/4” impact driver. Overall great idea but the way sets are built makes you purchase multiple sets. For example, this 65300 set does not come with wrench and as you can’t buy it alone I ordered 65239 set with 1/4” wrench. I am not sure if I also need another set with 3/8” wrench. If they had built a set with 2 wrenches and SAE and Metric sockets, I would be done in one set. If you can make a video on how these 3-4 sets they have come up with works with each other, it would be great!
Very unfortunate this didn’t come with one more adapter that had the same drive end as this 3/8, and the flip socket spline shaft on the other end. Allowing one to drive the entire set with their 3/8 impact wrench, standard wrench, or Klein’s passthrough wrench. It would look very similar to the adapter on the far left in the 65300 set just with this function.
I’m trying to visualize what this would look like. I know the adapter you are talking about in the 65300 but not clear in which drive end of the 3/8ths you are referring to.
@@projectpinehills yeah sorry its difficult when there are so many things going on hah. So at 0:32 the row you are pointing to, if you combined the outside ends of these two adapters and delete the middle you can visualize it. No, I tried that and should have shown it doesn’t work with the KNECT M ratchet 3/8” equivalent. The impact 11-in-1 is designed to work with KNECT S which is the 1/4” equivalent version.
Uhm... yeah. I would never trust this set to work on an impact wrench, there are too many fail points with all those adapters. They might be fine on a 100 ft/lb torque impact driver, though.
