Just listen to any interview from any era, and she can expound upon her references, the visual aspects, and succinctly communicate her ideals for a given work. It pains me to see her compared to her younger contemporaries, because what she does is still a cut above conceptually, visually, and intellectually. She’s painfully underrated as an artist, and it sucks most don’t get the irony in her work.
Ray of light was a masterpiece
Ray of Light, Confessions and American Life are her masterpieces. They’re where she reveals her true self, outside of the persona.
She's stunning here!! The 90s where the best time for dance music. Dance music today sounds absolute garbage. There's no diversity to it like in the 90s.
definetly its her best cd - love to see her talking, drinking green tea.... 💛💚💙💜❤ what a great situation to interview her.... by far one of the biggest talents
I think I remember seeing this when it was originally on. Ray of Light is by far her best album.
Love seeing her working. She’s her most authentic self here.
Happy birthday, Madonna!
Great to see the full unedited cut. Thank you!!!
I remember watching this. Kurt’s interviews with Madonna were always the best.
Grammy-Winning Masterpiece ❤️
I bought this 'Ray Of Light' Album right away when It was released. 🎙🎶❤🙏😇
you could no longer see such Madonna character in today’s Madonna, the creativity, sane, mature and sensitive to what’s around. all gone.
So almost heartbreaking but so true. Sad 😞
omg, there's so much that has been cut off. I would love to hear all of those demos on the tapes, to see how William works. It's would be incredible.... but I feel like it is impossible. I can see only fragments of that valuable material, those notes, tapes, markings, etc in this video. But I hope this all is stored somewhere in the vault and maybe someday someone will decide to release it.
Legendary act
The only Madonna album, that I am most proud to say I own. This has depth
Like a Prayer and Bedtime Stories are great albums as well
thank you for sharing ... I feel when this was MUSIC television MTV
Good old days, wish I could turn back time
Madonna looks beautiful here
