I know how you feel I learned 20 years ago at a job sight my co worker gave me to USE a DeWalt dw056 impact driver by today's standards it's trash but back then it was awesome
Thanks Jack, I haven’t used a Milwaukee impact driver but I have used a Milwaukee impact wrench and cordless grinder. With both Milwaukee tools, I ended up getting my DeWalt tools from the truck to finish the job. Milwaukee kept cutting out, even on a fully charged battery, when I worked the tools hard. -Steve
@@TwistedToolbox Oh Even better info sir. You have changed my way of thinking on these 2 Brands of tools. Keep up the great videos. Hope you guys had a great 4th. sir.
Juan, That could be another way to look at it. My research came up with “F” is for Impact and with the “F” being used on the large impact wrenches along with these impact drivers the “F” seems to be for Impact since an “I” in a part number can get confused with a “1” -Steve
Great video and great information
Glad it was helpful.
I like that you put some miles on that 887. Thats what mine looked like before i bought the 850
That’s why I love DeWalt tools since that can take the abuse on the job site.

Very true TC and since that day, my toolbox will always have an impact driver in it. -Steve
Great video Mr. Steve by chance have you or do you happen to know if there is really a difference between the DeWalt and the milwaukee version sir.

@@madjack7979 you’re welcome. Before I used them I thought they were equal but using them changed my mind.
Great video!
Thanks
Use Robertson screws and you’ll be surprised
Dan, yes the square head makes a big difference.
I've used a drill for years and not had a problem
Peter,
Once you start using an impact driver, it’s a game changer. -Steve
The F is for "F"astener

Maybe "F" for force?
