I love going Bright Blazing king and then they will chain an Omni to it and then changing droplet sending the trap and other things to get the neg off. It’s a little neg but I always search the trap so it’s public knowledge and they tend to play around it so then I have to play around their play around lol.
Funny Fact about dragon keeper & other cards like it that have the discard 1 card effect, the other copy it's considered a brick if you draw both, you simply discard the other, same with even the third copy if you can shuffle it back with kitt, or save it for turn two grabbing another fusion card, it makes it very good, same logic with the kitt you can run three copies of it too, since you can shuffle the other back & use any remaining for discard fodder/fusion material, even tally ho search kitt is the same, so basically you have 20+starters in a branded deck.
Branded fusion going to one is probably the best to happen to this deck imo, bc it was so good there was no reason to experiment with branded too much since it was so strong
My local's judge told me once, to side nib and use dragoon to burn the big token on the take back if you are in game 2 going second. TOOOOOO specific, but I managed to pull it off and OTK my opp, it was hell of a fun. Since I only play locals, I could tech in dragoon without thinking too much, people there can't out so easily.
Does it actually work like that? The token’s stats become the combined original attack of all on field monsters, however its own original attack is “?”
Don't forget for another Ultimate Slayer target you could just run Luluwalilith for a Synchro. Not as good at helping break boards but it's an in-engine target!
I have a regional coming up the day after crossover breakers officially releases, Ultimate slayer seems good for ryzeal, but with malice being a shifter deck and ryzeal having access to abyss dweller, aren't the grass builds just nerfed in the next format? Ik OCG plays em but ocg has maxx c to slow down the turn 1 player. I do look forward to dropping super poly from my build for an even more extra deck intense board breaker because it's necessary I guess. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Dweller hurts our ryzeal matchup but it is something where board breakers still crack their board and we run plenty of them on top of engine that also helps in that way.
No lie... I was an MTG player for... a long time w/out doxxing my age lol but during COVID Blue-Eyes got my attention for whatever reason and LDS2 and Premium Gold had dropped and I went all in building my first BEWD deck that was... ass. I didn't know what I was doing and soon MD had come out so I used that to learn from, fast forward Branded had come out and tbh I love the Albaz lore and I dropped BEWD like Woody had happen to him from Toy Story... Anyways long story short along this journey I visited some places like Reddit and stuff to learn about mechanics, which cards are better than others, the usual stuff and holy fvck did I catch slack for asking "why are all decks 40?" --- it's crazy but I brought (not really) the 60 card format into Yugioh (running initially a BEWD/Branded that took me to Qualifiers) and of course now it seems a lot of builds have taken this on (not "alot") but 40 just isn't as big a thing as it was before. It's strange and the funny thing I took from Yugioh back to MTG is searching out all my cards, fvck cantripping or trying to draw into it lol.
Great read. Mtg to yugioh is always interesting. I resonate with dropping decks for Branded nothing feels the same. Going to play the new Bewd support? Lol.
Keeper is ONLY good when you have more than 1 Opening. Then the Normal you can spend on it has more value since you could get Aluber or Quem on there instead without it. Otherwise without further extension you're just gonna get impermed

@@goldenONXi think it works like with ancient chant if you tribute summon ra the original attack becomes the total

I use to run Keeper back then did just have my set of secret rare slayers. I could try side in board breakers and main hand traps.
