  • The 2024 BMW X2 is now in its second generation and comes in M-Sport trim as standard. It is equipped with a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder turbocharged engine producing 121 bhp, 230Nm of torque and has a 0-100km/h time of 10.4 seconds. The engine drives power via a front wheel drive setup and is mated to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission. 20" wheels are standard, along with the latest OS8.5 touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

    I respectfully disagree that the infotainment system on the x1, x2 and ix1 is better than the rest.
    There is so much real estate wasted on the driver’s side and the screen is visibly cramped, as compared to bigger boys.
    It is running on OS9 and not OS8.5

      Hey Terence. My mistake regarding OS8.5 over 9. Thank you for flagging this out.
      As for the preference on the housing unit for the integrated displays. I primarily dislike the sharp edge found on the larger models. When viewed from the passenger door, it looks like a retrofitted screen. The housing unit on the smaller models somehow look more “OEM” and more premium to me.
