In what way is this an interesting line? What did he do that is out of the ordinary? Have you not seen culling ritual before? He played silence into culling ritual into tutor into an ad-naus adjacent, into fast mana, into thoracle combo. That's exactly what a good amount of the multi-color good stuff decks want to do in any given game. There's nothing unique about the line at all? I've rewatched it like 4 times and im not seeing anything special. I'm legitimately curious, how is this line "brilliant"?
Question: Is it only Kraum-bat when it happens in the early rounds? I was under the impression that it was Kraum-bat when it attacked with Haste. I ask for not only pedantic clarity, but because of the missed opportunity to say "Phantasmal Kraum-bat."

5:01 Is there a reason Mike isn’t bouncing Mox Amber? Unless I’m mistaken every spell should bounce Mox Amber, and then casting Amber to bounce whatever he wants. This generates 2 mana more than just directly bouncing the target

I'm confused as to why mike didn't go for the win when he untapped with hullbreaker horror. He could've bounced the manglehorn with the first casttrigger and channeled the skyturtle to add back lotus petal and go infiniite with petal and mox amber to win the game, and he still would've been able to have the phimage come in as a kraum for plan b if that got stopped.
Did he just not see that line? Also im so glad he's playing colossal skyturtle I think that card is actually really good in kinnan and my playgroup always gives me shit for playing it lol
@@Greg501- Yeah. It's one thing to ask people to be respectful about how they point these things out, but pointing things out and even debating if a play is the right one can be very helpful. Obviously people should be respectful but I think there's a difference between criticizing specifically those who are rude and a blanket criticism of all who comment on what was missed.
I think the whole pod except for Mike played G2 rather poorly. Everybody relentlessly fed the fish and just let Kinnan very quickly run away with the game. That do be the gameplan though. Kinnan imo is one of the least interesting decks in the format despite playing big stompy idiots, I think i just dont like UG as a pairing. Also, only kne deck with Red? What is this, flashhulk era?
These were some really bad CEDH games. There must have been a lot of newbs in the pod. Either that or everyone was too stoned to pay attention to all the missed triggers. Love you long time, but please don't post tragedies like this, or I am going to have to stop watching.

Wandering Archaic's trigger is a "may". Mike could've chosen not to copy Brandon's Pact.
Also, Nezahal returns tapped.
The Pact was a deal between the players to stop Selvala.
Yeah nezahal returns tapped at the beginning of the next end step, so Brandon got to untap it before his turn.

There's a Manglehorn on Zack's board, so replaying the amber would have had it enter tapped.
