Do you know it heats up the wear ring from the impeller when you run them without water going through the pump? Just put a hose it the water intake. You will see too much clearance and less speed running them without water ..
FYI, I bought some cookers that hold a six pack and fit perfectly in the front storage. Plastic storage in cooler and nylon or cordura outside with a handle. Perfect for Seadoo's
could you do a video on how to install a aftermarket throttle lever on these skis and the aftermarket start stop switch. its a much cleaner look the way you have it.
I’m glad you mentioned the speed at the end of the video because I think that yes, we were all wondering. LOL. So topped out at about 63 mph? Not bad… That means about 61ish all day everyday!!! Respectable for sure!!!
The top speed run was that clip in the very beginning of the video. Notice I hit some chop and lost some speed. The only modifications on that ski is a Rossier pipe, Pro K FA's, R&D head to make the compression 180, and the carbs are jetted for the pipe. NOTHING ELSE. 63 is insane for nearly a stock ski. Just a good engine build with proper squish clearances.
You guys mostly working on XPs? I had thought about an XP or Speedster project in the near future. It does seem that finding a project ski for a good deal is extremely hit n miss.
No we work on anything pretty much. We just picked up a Challenger 1800 that we will be doing on the channel so stay tuned for that. As far as deals go, those days are over I think .
Hey Guys! Awesome job, keep the videos coming! 🔥. I have a 2000 GTX 951 Carb & a DI, I’m wondering what upgrades I can do to to get out of the hull a lot harder? I know you got an RXx build with a 951 for the channel so looking forward to that!
THANKS!!!! As far as handling I would do Sponsons and call it a day. The first episode of the RXX restoration series should be dropping next week. Thanks for the support
Hi and great channel. I have 2 1995 Seadoo xp 800 prototype skis, 93 xp 650, 550 standup and 2 Kawasaki sport cruisers. The 650 was sponsored by Rosier and prototypes only 1 modified other 1 bought new and just fine tuning, changed pipe and played with water intake and easy 80+ mph
R&D head (180 PSI), Rossier Pipe, ProK FA's, and the carbs are jetted to my specs for the pipe. The ski is running 93 octane and the oil injection is still in play. 63 MPH was the top that day and it wasn't exactly glass so we will send it again for that 65.
@@TodayWeWrench my boat will turn 7300 and hits 62. Repitched XO. 87 mm nozzle. Factory pipe spec 2. 93 octane. I have the PPG mods. Great boat. Nice job! Keep up the outstanding work!
Love those skis. Where did the carbon fiber graphics come from?
Yall must of paid up for that Rossiear ski! I'm building a 97 spx at the moment

Where did you get the bumpers
Do you ever sell these? I would love to find X4 race skis. They are hard to come by on the East Coast.
I dont, sorry
I loved the UMI Racing handlebars cant find those anymore
Where are the rubrails from? I have a 96 xp 800
Did you take out the plastic air intake side pieces and just put hydro turf there?
We removed the vents
My congratulations
I just bought a 3rd XP800 with engine out and apart.
It's the 96 800 xp

Couldn’t agree more!! Very strong running ski and great build!!! 👍
@@TodayWeWrench you just run 91 in it after those mods or do you need higher octane?

what is the stuff you have around the rub rails?
I was thinking the same thing
I’m already excited

I just bought a 96 XP and would love to know what handle bar setup you're running
Full UMI, hasn't been made for quite some time unfortunately
@@TodayWeWrench recommendations on a set of bars only that's available currently??
@@TRD_Cueto You can use rental bars or something and put them on the stock steering neck
@@TodayWeWrench awesome! Would it be PWC bardls specifically or any off-road bar?
@@TRD_Cueto Id just go with RC bars
What mod is that for the bars??
I have a 94 spx the pad is broke and I like how that looks
Full UMI system that was powdercoated black and the bar pad is custom from a local upholstery shop
I see the ski has IL tags...where about a are ya? I grew up in south side Chicago
