I noticed that the race skis are using bearing seal carriers instead of the carbon seal.. Is there a reason why? Do you like them more? I thought they were older technology. Both the race skis are beautiful. It was hard to watch you wet sand your race ski with that sexy white and black ski with the purple and blue graphics there in the back ground. Lol, had to go to Facebook and stare at it for a while. Would love to see a multi episode X4 951 build. There is not a how to anywhere on you tube. Im getting all my parts together to do this build. Just some thought for a winter build. You do the best how to videos better than anyone else on TH-cam, as long as you have a camera guy and not a tight deadline. We can only get so much information from forms with pictures. Thanks, Great job and awesome builds, keep the vids coming.
Yeah I have two 96 XP 800 with a trailer I'm not sure what's done to only have a different grade I think we have a different prop put jet thrust performance mess with them a long time ago we bought them I see on both run I'd like to talk to one of y'all to see if we can work out something like fixing them I'm sure I would love to ride them at least one of them
I've got a Gtx with a 787 that I've painted to match my hot rod. Only complaint is the range sucks. You guys are experts, any fuel economy mods possible?
Big bucks if you cant do it yourself. The material on this one was 1500 just for paint. After decals and everything were over 2k plus all the labor. My buddy who owns the paint shop that I spray at said that silver would be a 6k job to have a crystal clear show finish like that.
so if I found a 95 800 race ski with all the extras and it just looks like it's been sat under a tree for ten years. you think 3 grand is a reasonable price?
just saying I could find a used crappy looking Xp or Spx not running and fix almost anything on it and make it run and look great for less than a set of race carbs. that's why I asked about the three grand price.

Carrier bearings when maintained properly are superior over the carbon seal
