The engine has never hiccuped on me, always ran like a top, and the chassis has been very sound. We ride 40-60 miles through the backcountry and it has never broken down or left me stranded. Part of the reason GasGas bikes are pretty bullet proof is because they only changed very gradually over the years. But just like any other bike parts do wear out and it takes some lovin' here and there to keep her going.
+anesthesiadreamin I've got a question for you. Does the clutch basket have to come out before the right side cover comes off? I am trying to replace my waterpump bearing and seals.
nope the basket and whole clutch assembly stays in. remember the dowel pins can get corroded and make removal more challenging but use a rubber mallet gently to tap it loose and lift it evenly off the case
