Learning more about the effects of aging on the body never gets old.
You have aged more than 1hr since you have posted this comment...😂
I see what you did there
I guess it was only a matter of time before someone said that
This is new 😂😅
A new joke was born
This guy is hilarious. He’s old and enthusiastically describing every horrible aspect of getting old in full detail with same positive excitement as if it’s all totally fine lol.
I mean, mental health is evenly important, if it is not more important than physical health. So by by making fun of it and smiling, he's helping his mental health aging processes.
Right he’s so adorable 😂❤❤
It’s is fine. Old age is a luxury not afforded to many.
But, you know aging is actually pretty normal. And that makes it more funny.
Age doesn't matter as long as the matter doesn't age.
At the very end, when he said “I would trade in my knees to hug one of my granddaughters any day,” I almost cried and I don’t know the guy! That statement sums up aging for human kind very well!
This man is so funny, explains things in a great way, yet has aged very well😉
He knows all the knowledge of aging, and does the opposite to counter it.
That's right, he knows by medecin education and practice about aging processes, and by he's own aging body too@@destructoooo
plot twist: he is 40 years old
has aged very well? 🤔
This video made me feel an overwhelming sense of dread and terror, appreciate it!
Right?! When he kept saying that things start to go south in the 30s I (a 30 year old) was like 😮 lol
make you realzie the importance of working out
73 here. Keep your weight down, resistance training, no smoke, no drink, and it’s nowhere near what he describes.
@@elconquistador98does this include thc smoke?
@@RudeMania35 Smoking is a daily dose of poison, 25 carcinogens in every puff.
Brain aging effects can be dramatically reduced by continuous use - keep active, keep learning.
And plenty of sleep. That’s very important for are brain health
Also reading and learning new words will keep the brain healthy
If you don’t use it, you lose it.
@@truckercowboyed2638 Writing is even better
Not even active, you need to WEIGHT LIFT
I'm about to turn 30 and watching this video is kinda making me scared of aging 😅
You think it's scary now? Wait till you're 40 or 50 and already well into it. That's why it's best to enjoy your life and always be learning or growing
Me too I just turned 30 but I don’t think it’s too late to learn about stuff and even when you’re like 70 and keep healthy
Life is just a brief moment before the eternity
if i were you i would do stuff to prevent these age related problems, exercissing is pretty good as it makes the bloodflow throughout the body more effektiv which might help with the heart problems
Exercise on a daily easy!
I really enjoyed watching this episode. This guy brings out great presence of joy on teaching and it shows. Thanks Wired for another fun episode. They have been fun to watch now for awhile. Does this guy have a youtube channel?
This is helpful. No one ever tells you what is normal wear and tear vs something really wrong. Every change feels like something new that’s wrong. No way to know what’s pathology and what’s aging. Videos like this are great!
Well said 👍🏼
How is this video so depressingly wholesome
Everyone of us is aging, and the science behind aging is something we need more information. We appreciate this channel for giving us sufficient knowledge on these topics all the way through.
A New York Jew hilariously narrating the complexity of entropy is absolutely brilliant...!
Love that guy!
What a great format and what a great teacher! That was lovely
My respects to Dr. Jeffery Laitman. I loved the way you teach this topic. Wired, please we need more of him.
P.D. Those granddaughters are well lucky for having such a great grandpa.
Im 33 and im so glad i saw this bc now i can understand what my grandma is going through and be understanding of my parents and myself as we age
Love this guy and the way he explained everything
I watched 3 minutes and I instantly realized how little time we actually have on this planet, life really is precious (depending on your point of view). 3 minutes of this video is making me feel like appreciating and enjoying life more and pursuing my dreams XD. Thx.
Watching this while having a fear of death probably isn’t a good idea 💀
Yes...
You shouldn’t fear death. It’s just a moment in life. Like a good meal or a good movie, or a good bath. Death is a short moment of life that we all experience then it’s over. No biggie. Alsoooo, old age is a luxury not afforded to many. Remember that and how many billions of humans died early in life.
@@shasmi93 That’s True. It’s just the fact that it will be nothingness forever that creeps me out. Like I won’t be conscious.. ever again .
@@coucoukianahow do you know that??? No one knows owns what happens when we die. Also we don’t even have free will on this planet in this life. Go watch Sam Harris talk about why humans don’t have free will. Our entire lives are controlled or simulated by something else.
What was it like like for the last billion years? Nothing because you didnt exist. So when you die its nothing. There is no point in worrying about it.
What an amazing video doctor! If he taught in my uni I would never zone out during classes!
Gorgeous explanations, thank you Dr. Laitman.
Thank you Dr. Laitman for your humor and wisdom 🙂
This guy is salt of the earth. Such a warm, sage treatment of such a dire subject.
That said, aging isn't all bad. I've been around old people all my life. As you age you also get dumber. This can be a saving grace. You are less apt to be offended by life, and more apt to find yourself in a wonderland. My mom lived to 100. She loved CSI. When she watched an episode she would forget it in fairly short order, and be just as thrilled by the same episode a week later.
Love your take on aging cognition!
this guy is the richard feynman of a & p
every medical & nursing student learns the information of this video over ~ 2-4 years, but here it is covered in 13 minutes
bravo dr j.l.
As a 31yr old I shouldn't have watched this video. I'm 1000 times more depressed now. Ignorance is truly a bliss
😂😂 I am glad to know s I can do something about it
Just don't do what 90% of Americans are doing. (not weight lifting, eating poorly, bad personal hygiene)
I'm in my 40s & I wish I was in my 30s & looking my age I find depressing.
more of dr. Jeff please!!!!!
Thank you very much. I'm passed all the aging markers[?]. I have a number of these symptoms, but not all - thank goodness. Very fine report with a little bit of humor never hurts during the telling. Explains some of what the doctor is checking for during the regular visits.
Thank you, Dr. Laitman, that was just awesome!😊

That's a child's x-rays, he's pointing to the metaphysis of the bones, they aren't actually broken. That's cartilage to allow room for future bone growth and it eventually hardens
Very informative and I enjoyed the humour of it all!!😂
Can I go back to school and have you for every science class? Describes everything so well, and more importantly, in a fun and interesting way! Please, have this treasure do more videos.
That was both informative and entertaining 🥰
Love how he explain everything
I love this guy he explained everything in great detail he is charismatic and I hope they make another video with him
Amen, doc!! Love your content and especially your delivery!! ❤
i love this man he is teaching the human body along with the humor
Thank you for sharing this information. I really appreciate and enjoyed this video
Dr Jefferey, you're so entertaining^^
What a good teacher
"by the time you're well into your ears, you'll be able to wipe your chin with it!"😂
Had me rolling😂
*years
Dr, you are so adorable. Love the video. Wish I had this in college. Great video for High School and beginner nursing students. Thank you so much.
Excellent brief overview.
Love the delivery..HEADS UP!
This was great ❤
This guy is a total hoot. I'd listen to him teach me an entire med school curriculum.
That'd be awesome! 😅
Excellent presentation in all respects.
Thank you for the excellent information. Very nice presentation. You have just the best attitude for dealing with all manner of situations. You would be just great at any occupation. You are just great at your chosen profession.
This was very informative and easy to follow
I have to say doing consistent physical exercises and mental exercises can help extent the longevity of your vital organs 💯
This is freaking me out and making me reevaluate the priorities in my life
Very interesting and informative. Thank you . Cheers
I would like to see a follow up of this informative video, especially atrophy of the brain, and vascular system, and how intermittent fasting can change our bodies on a cellular lever . How can we change and protect ourselves more, and what can we do about hearing loss. Something I'm concerned about in later life as I get tinnitus which can affect hearing. What are the preventative measures can we take to gain overall better health.
Life is short. Make friends and make memories.
Such a great discussion, the VR modules that let you get into the organs really show some of this in action
What a great educator ❤
Oh boy looking forward to this!
Excellent video and simple thank you 😊
You're amazing ! thanks for sharing your wisdom
Protect this man at all costs! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Thank you so much❤knowing is half of the battle of aging,,,info is the key😮
Excellent video 😃❤️🙌🏾
What a funny way to teach this. Thanks Doc!
This guy is awesome!!! His sense of humor ❤❤❤
So well explained ! Super knowledgeable and funny at the same time ! Need more of him.
I like the presentation,
Kept me replying several times 😊
Thanks
Best health video on TH-cam contender 👍🏼 MORE
Oh God I love this man. The way he delivers the humor makes me laugh so much that I have to pause the vidio! plus a lot of interested info =)
Just remember, if you take good care of your body, you can slow down the aging process. Maintain good overall health, and it'll take much longer for many of these things to occur.
Plot twist. Most people dont care. 🥲 Live fast die young 💀
If they don't care, then fair enough that's their choice to make. But I'm just saying for those that do care. @@done-damned
Genetics unfortunately matter but at least trying to stay healthy helps.
interesting vid n the way u deliver, makes it interesting.TQ doctor
I could watch this guy all day long.
He’s adorable! Thank you for this video!

Amazing. I love this man ❤❤❤❤
Good info!
I watched this entire thing O.O Love this Drs Attitude 😑👌
Thank you doctor
Many us of are in denial about aging until the reality comes knocking on your door
More dr. Laitman please! So funny
Is this guy the Scotty Kilmer of the medical world? I expect to hear this guy say "Rev up your inner organs"
😂😂😂
lolololo
Watching this makes me realize how amazing the human body is but also how sensitive the human body is when you don't take care of it
Thanks for shedding light on this important issue. People need to prioritize diet, exercise, and sleep more.
I feel old, droopy, and with hair in weird places after this video. Also, yoga (particularly yin yoga) has done my aging body good.
I used to wonder why older people would fall so easy, now i know
I love this little old man. So informative and enthusiastic!
What an ageist comment
I love this guy!
now I don't wanna get old
amazing guy
This guy is so cool! 👍🏻
This man is a national treasure.
How can you not love this video.
That’s why I plan to NEVER get old
We naturally start dying in our 30's..
More like 25 onwards
So far, the best horror movie I’ve watched this year.
Love it.
I’m so glad I watch this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aging is a precious gift that many don't get to experience.
Very good point 👏 ❤
🤓
This video is so.... enthusing
