      @tommysgreatoutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello - This is a little strange. The process should be the same from 2019 - 2022 1/2. A Custom TrilBoss will have this issue as it does not have the DRL's, but your LT Trailboss should work with no issues. Do your DRL's work while in Drive?

  • @sroc3

    I wish the one they made for the Bronco worked better. I really like this hoodshield-light combo. The Bronco hood has a bit of a curve and the light bar is too straight on the edges so it sticks out a tad....bummer. The Bronco isn't as wide as their other models this is made for.

      If you have an LT or higher with DRL's, then either fuse 3 or 4 will work. if not then you may have to do some trial and error.

    I tried this exact same thing. I tapped the red wire into fuse 3 with a fuse tap and connected the black wire to the bolt nearby, but it just ain’t working. I also had 2 fuses plugged in. I’m just at at loss of what to do to get it to work.?.?

    • @tommysgreatoutdoors
      @tommysgreatoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ll try and help troubleshoot. Disconnect the wires from the ground and the fuse tap. Then connect them directly to a battery source to test the circuit. Truck battery should work, but a simple 9v household battery does the trick too. Remember red to + and black to -.
      If the light turns on, then the issue is with either your ground or fuse tap installation. Try it again. If is does not turn on, there may be a defect in the light bar and I recommend you return it.

    • @tommysgreatoutdoors
      @tommysgreatoutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. The custom does not have the LED signature light that the LT and up has. Because of that, fuse 3 may not work as expected. This may take some trial end error.

    • @tommysgreatoutdoors
      @tommysgreatoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could do it a few different ways. Put them both on No 3, again LEDs draw very little power. Just connect the lines to one single fuse tap.
      No 3 is one of the headlights and No 4 is the other. So you could put one circuit on No 3 and the other on No 4, each with their own fuse tap.

      I used the simple matte black. There is another option for a little more cost. For GM tucks they also make a white and a silver. I think for other makes there is also a black option.
      If you have a GM truck, then I would stick with the matte black as the other two colors would not look right.
