Thanks man. Really helped clear up confusion on the fuse box placement and strategy. Earned a new sub 😊 I have the cab light version, but yours turned out great. Good luck with the wireless version, haven’t heard great reviews but hoping yours works well and that they fixed the issues.
I added similar lights on my truck but I used a really long zip tie as a wire fish tape and ran the wire inside the hood where there's a channel so you don't see any wires.
I didn't see this mentioned so just a heads up, in case you didn't know: the add-a-fuse fuse taps are directional. If you don't plug it in the "correct" orientation, your added circuit will pull through both fuses in a series. It might not be a problem depending on the circuit, but if you start blowing the fuse designated to the original circuit you definitely need to check the orientation.
Thanks for your video. I know know to Tap and into #28 fuse for my grill light install. All other videos were saying #42 but thats not right on a refreshed Sierra 1500
Ya I'm not an electrician but its weird that we are getting constant power from switched fuses. Only thing I can think of is the headlights are on a timer and even when you turn the truck off at night the headlights stay off for a few seconds. You would think it would relay the shield lights off.
Unfortunately your hood is still exposed where it's important but it looks awesome either way. I have a color matched one I'm putting on my 22 RST this weekend. Great content sir!
Looks awesome, looking to get one for my 2020 Silverado. With the discussion about hood vibration, I wonder if you could somehow cut slots so you get airflow through the area where the lights stick to, to release the drag and stop the vibration. Great Vid!
Thank you your video was very helpful and made it easy to install. The only issue i had was my check engine light turned on I have a 2024 GMC Sierra Elevation. I unplugged the negative terminal on the battery when i first installed it. Is there a way to reset the check engine light? Thanks
So I connected mine to the same circuit as you did and I wanted to know if yours is off when driving during the day as well? Lights work great in the morning/night but Wasn’t sure if I did something wrong or??? Thanks for the thorough vid!
Looks pretty cool. Where do you live? I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about salt corroding electrical components. Seems like nonsense. Northeast boy here. How is this product holding up since your install?
Hi, it looks very nice, I have a question just because I saw lot of bad reviews on Amazon about it shake at hight speed and it make side mirrors to shake as well, can you give me feed back on that please 🙏
hey WICKEDAUTO. I have an issue with the fuse 28: the shield lights are NOT ON when lights switch is set to AUTO (so it's auto on/off depending of the day/night) and it's a sunny day (meaning the low beam is off). Did you notice anything like this?
No I haven’t, mine are on at all times as soon as I power the truck, whether auxiliary or actually started. Not sure why it would be different but not the first to say so either
@@358bano me tooo Hello friend, can I ask you how you connected your AVS trim? I have a trail boss lt and I already connected it to module 3 and 4 and in both of them when I put the truck in drive they turn off

I just watched your video where you installed the Rough Country steps and noticed a similarity. The way you run/route wires needs much improvement. It's just sloppy work.
Dont like the wiring part. Dont like how the wire comes underneath the deflector. Also not a fan of using 3m tape. Will probably damage the paint if or when you need to take it off. Had way too many issues with my Mustangs rear wing. Destroyed my paint.

@@frankiecashin5050 yes absolutely
What color is the paint on this truck?
looks like desert sand metallic to me

They have it depending on the year!
Where did you get the rain guards. I like that look best.

Looks great, I have a 2020 2500 AT4, been looking for the lighted one where did you get it ??
i got mine from realtruck but i found it on multiple sites
Hi, it looks very nice, I have a question just because I saw lot of bad reviews on Amazon about it shake at hight speed and it make side mirrors to shake as well, can you give me feed back on that please 🙏
Does nothing to the side mirrors, nor does it shake but it does make the hood shake at highway speeds which is not a big deal at all
Can you add any white led strips or just the lights that come with the hood deflector ?
You could get any set of leds, as long as the size fits in the slot
Can you measure the length for me for the Led. Thanks
Hey man I enjoy you’re content. My AVS light shield vibrates the hood goin over 70mph any suggestions? It’s not bad it does make some extra noise.
Mine does the same, I have not noticed any noise from it though. To help with the noise I’m actually not sure
So it’s been about a year since you installed them just wanted to know how are the lights working for you
Not one issue at all

No none. The hood will vibrate though
I just purchased a 2023 sierra and want to install a suspension lift, any suggestions?
Best bang for your buck real lift, RC 4in with vertex coilovers. The vertex I had were absolutely awesome!!
I really like your low profile window vent visors, how do they do with wind noise, better or worse than without? They are AVS right
No they are factory stick on in matte black. No wind noise at all
Would you happen to have the part number or link to the window visors?!
