@@cesar1986 Yea, I did the install myself, a few months ago...But, I am going to take it to the dealer to hook up the wiring. Just haven't had a chance yet. I drive my worktruck mostly in the winter cause it has all my tools in it. Next week, I am taking my Jeep for it's first oil change. Will get it done then. Install is pretty easy...as long as everything is squeaky clean...
6:37 I won't get back in life. Like it says multiple times below, what about the wiring? They obviously don't get sarcasm either, giving everyone a thumbs up for thanking them for the wiring instructions. Unreal.
so funny how all of you are complaining, even if they showed you how to wire youd still complain he literally said word for word what to do, if you cant tap a wire to the fuse box and ground it to your truck, you should not even be looking at something like this, stick to the ones without the lights😜😂
I did not see the part where reversing the light bar so wires will reach til after the fact. You think ripping it off and drilling the hole will be better or just splicing more wire so it will reach?
I would do the wiring first. You can use some shrink buttons to reconnect it. I'm not a huge fan of using fuses to tap in so I'll probably use more wire than it has.
Great question! That keeps the wires in place so they don't rub the abrasive edge of the bug shield and wear through over time. It also keeps them in place during the installation.
it depends on how you take it off. If you grab the piece and just pull up it will damage the paint. use fishing line to seperate the main paint from the truck and then tackle the tape that remains
Hey there! We haven't heard any reports of noise from this product. Driving this Silverado, I didn't notice any extra noise from the shield, but we also have all terrain tires that make a little more noise than factory. If the shield makes sound, it's less than the tires, and that's not much. Hope that helps!
Be nice if it was.plug and play.I'd prefer screws to hold this on,so it would be really secure, and could be taken off easily.I don't trust tape lasting long in the environment.
Hey Adam, if you need to remove it, heat it up with a hair dryer and slowly pry it away. Waxed dental floss can be helpful to work back and forth between the shield and the paint. Hope that helps!

I just purchased one and installed on my 2020 Silverado. The lights causes interference with the radio reception. I checked the wiring and even used an external battery. I love the look of the shield so I'm going to keep it without running lights. :(
Wiring will have to be ran where you think is best. Either to fuse or if you’re vehicle is like my jeep there no fuse for turn signals or park lights. You will have to straight wire
I liked the aggressive look on my Silverado but there's a lot of wind drag that are affecting speed/gas/performance. I'm definitely debating on returning the item.
@Miguel, If you're experiencing hood shake, that means you have gaps along the bottom edge and the air is literally trying to rip your hood protector off your truck at high speeds. Try closing your gaps along the bottom edge, and I'll bet your hood shake goes away.
This video is horrendous, like he left out the most important part, how he supposedly connected the wires, probably because he went and paid somebody to do that part... It's obvious only because he never even showed them working, like let me mark this with a black marker which only meant something to him. SMDFH next time you try to make a content video, make sure you're swift and when you go through the lagging boring parts and then it slow down and be thorough with your explanation for the difficult parts (like wiring the lights) I left a comment, because I watched the whole thing and it left feeling like your wife whom you probably avoiding sleeping with because you used making this video as an excuse.
Great video!...Until the end, when you left out the most important part....THE WIRING!!!!
I was thinking the same thing!!!
Yeah the wiring part is the reason I watched this haha, I think putting this on a truck is self explanatory. Gave it a thumbs down for that reason

Look up how to hook up a led light to the fuse box. That will help you out
It's a liability issue. That's why it isn't shown
Left out the most important part. The wiring.
😂😂😂
Exactly 💀
Thank you for showing us how to wire it. Very helpful
Is there any videos on the wiring ?
Nice job showing the install of the wiring.
Thanks! 👍
Here is an idea....we can all stick this to the hood sport...why don't you show us how to wire it up?
Were you able to find a video? I still can't find any
Can you show how you wired it???

I just ordered this for 2020 GMC SIERRA SLE 1500, HOW HARD IS IT to run wire to fuse box like what you did
They dont mention that for the wiring part you will need to buy a fuse tab. The positive will be attached to the fuse tab and the black to ground.
Wiring?
What would you recommend for restoring the plastic and removing bug stains
I need a new light bar for my aeroskin bug shield any advice out there? Researched plenty with no luck
Why show the easiest part and leave out the wiring?
I know in my case when running the wires there were plenty of F bombs, so maybe that's why he left it out.

Is the shield paintable? Be nice to color match.
Why did you tape the wires? Once through the hole, isn't that the only place they come out?
Great question! That keeps the wires in place so they don't rub the abrasive edge of the bug shield and wear through over time. It also keeps them in place during the installation.
Will this work for 2018 silverado
How do you wire this for 2015 Ram? Please
So what color wire do i hook the wiring to on the headlight plug ???Yellow, Blue, purple, white ????

Came out beautifully. Easier to follow than the instructions.
Won't the winter salt stay on underneath the shield no matter what?
Not if you seal up your gaps along the top and bottom ghat won't be an issue, plus it eliminates hood shake at highway speeds.
