Thank you for making this video. Looking up microphones these days makes it seems like only 3 companies make decent gear. I haven't heard of this company before
I did own both! But as a field reporter i found that comica perform better in real life situation cuz rode use 2.4 wifi system but comica using uhf system and its perform much better in the real life scenario Ps . The worst one is dji mic always have interference keep away from it
There are two output connectors allowing you to record 4 channels if you have a 4 channel recorder AB and CD on each cable. The proper cables are required. I just ordered the 4 channel unit. To connect to a zoom H 6 you would need 2 x the 3.5mm TRS to LXR
Thanks for the input! We didn't think to use a 4-channel recorder. We tried using it on both of our XLR ports on our Canon C200 (which can each do stereo), but we were still only getting 2 channels total. So, yes, it looks like you might need to break them all into 4 separate XLR ports to achieve this. Thanks! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
@@envycreative Thanks I have tested the 4 channel out to my H6 works fine also tested all of my mics. I my Sure M48 and M58 seem low compared to other powered mics. Also tested the Rode Video Micro all working fine. I purchased two 3.5mm to two XLR cables and labeled them so I can lash up quickly. Enjoy this great product.
Great video, I noticed you did not extend the antenna on the transmitter ,this makes a big difference in the operating distance of the Comica just a little FYI, have a beautiful day 🌤️
I'm preparing to shoot an independent feature film, I haven't heard that many complaints of the product. I'll probably use a different mic product which will inflate the price.
Yes, you can use all the mics at the same time on the A and B channels, but it will give you 2 mixed channels, so it will not return 4 separate channels. That's one of the downsides we found. Hope this helps!
Great video Sir👌🏾 let’s not forget the RODE started tho whole tiny microphone craze they deserve all props👍🏾 and when it comes down to their quality is simply better. Even the Dji mic with all its gwizz features trust I’ll pass on that long latency.
Yep! We do have to give it to Rode for that, but we're excited to see that there is more and more competition out there! Thanks! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
Nope, the channel does not matter, if you are asking if there is a difference between using, say, channel 1 and channel 2. Thanks! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
You can still use all the transmitters to record directly to your camera, but all the audio channels would just be merged into one channel. Thanks! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
I have camica boomx U2 / the signal range is terrible, no matter how you go away from the receiver - they lost the signal/ i shot many videos with sound problem and in post production i just want to cry -_-
EXCELLENT review!!!

Thank you Anthony for testing out this feature and giving us a heads up.

Hello, sorry new here. So we can use the Comica qua on a 4 channel Sony A7 4 with just A and B channel with all 4 mics and not need a mixer?

Do channels matter? What’s the difference and why should you pick a certain one?
Nope, the channel does not matter, if you are asking if there is a difference between using, say, channel 1 and channel 2. Thanks! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
Do I need an external recorder to use all four transmitters or can I record directly to my camera. I have a Canon R6
You can still use all the transmitters to record directly to your camera, but all the audio channels would just be merged into one channel. Thanks! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
