This is the only advice that has worked for me. Thank you so much. I never thought I’d be singing a high C!!! I still have a long way to go, but you helped me shatter some limitations I had put on myself.
In my opinion it is. “There are men of talent and there are men of preparation. The latter are mistaken for the former. But the former, never for the latter.” -Alex Hormozi I guess his too.
Im a bari Just got cast as crutchie for my local community theater’s production of newsies. Highest I can belt is a F4 which thank god is the highest for my solo but I get to in A4 in “the world will know” and a G4 in “Santa fe: Prologue”
It's not an instant magic fix. it requires time to build the coordination. The fact that you flipped to falsetto just means you did not coordinate properly. That's all good keep at it.
@@tylerwysong i will practice alot since my highest note is C4 i can barely go higher, it is hard for me since i am part of an choral ensemble i always strained my voice because my tessitura is sometimes bellow A1 but most of the time my voice comfort note or tessitura is C2

@@tylerwysong That’s great, Tyler, thanks for replying, Been saving for a while, so I bought all three! 😀 Looking forward to delving in and getting started!
I saw you hit a high D in one of your outstanding videos and it baffled my mind. I am a natural tenor and to this day I still can’t sing the chorus of Van Halen’s “when it’s love” which coincidentally is a D on the word “Tell” would you be able to do a demonstration video of how you would approach singing that if you had to do it night after night without tearing your throat apart?
It's because mixed voice basically becomes a chesty sounding headvoice at about b flat. That's why when we sing a C or D we don't tense our face like you would if you were actually bringing your voice all the way up to D
Talent it overrated 🤣 no it’s not talent is very much accurately rated, you want to be super successful you need to be some what talented hard work alone will only get you so far, but same as talent both are very much needed, I’d say working hard is underrated
I think there are exceptions or less talented but still with the musical aptitude that are great. of course talent is great but don’t underestimate the power of the mind.

Talent is not overrated - it just takes hard work.
In my opinion it is.

Love that Bozeman Whisper, one of my favorite exercises in VVA. It’s tuning vocal tract shape for a full mix.
Absolutely!! Ken and I have literally spent just about entire lesson whispering in the past! Ha! Amazing.
Great tip, I have improved my attempts to each High C and your technique has definitely made it sound a bit fuller. Many thanks Tyler 🗣

Merci❤ enseignemoi la deuxieme voi stp
Im a bass singer, when i tried this technique, instead of sounding like a tenor, it sounds like an counter tenor or switching up into falsetto lol
