This is fabulous. I am going to share it with my son. He is not currently taking voice lessons. He sang bass all through high school then his voice teacher was sure he was a tenor and tried to groom him in that direction. Although he has the range, the richness of the baritone is so beautiful. He also did some musical theater which aimed more at the tenor as well. He said it hurt his voice to stay up there all the time. He will like this.
Jeff, I want to thank you for providing warm-up exercises on your TY channel. I sang along to them five days a week for 14 months and they have worked tremendously for me. I started with this baritone video, followed by the baritenor video and eventually the tenor range video. My range, pitch and vowel modifications improved dramatically. To others learning to sing. Before Jeff's videos, my technique and range were so bad I could not make it through a rehearsal with my band without losing my voice. Now I can leave rehearsal or a gig with my voice feeling great! These exercises work.
I really appreciate the work that Jeff Rolka has put into this warm up for baritone video. As someone who has sang in bands forever (35 years), I was too proud to go get vocal lessons. This is the perfect thing for me. I just sing along with a few of his warmup videos on the way to the gig and by the time I hit the stage, my voice is warmed up. Keeping my word to it, and finally giving a little bit of monetary support to your incredible service. Much love to you, Jeff Rolka.
Out of all the baritone warmups, this has to be my favorite, reason being, this video starts with slowly incorporating support then at the end, the video has all the individual vowels separated in the exercise, this give us a chance to focus each vowel, thank you
Thank you for this. As a baritone and possibly bass I have had issues finding videos that work for me. I love pushing my upper register but its nice to have exercises in my proper range. Even my last vocal coach, wonderful lady that she was, was like 2 octaves above me and often had to compensate.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoy the warm-up! Thanks for watching, thanks for your kind words and thanks for leaving a comment! I hope to see you around the channel again! Best, Jeff
Just starting to work on my voice and it was suggested to find a baritone warmup. Today was my first exercise - thanks. It felt great. Will report back as i practice
I've finally figured out that I'm a female baritone! The alto warmups were too high, so were the tenors. Thank you for making this! I'm happy I have a warm-up now!!! ❤
Ah... those were the days! Because, of course, there is so much use for all those extra notes! I could really piss off some sopranos. (Which is not difficult to do).
This is amazing. Thank you so much for this. I've been trying to find a good baritone warm up (since tenor doesn't fix my voice anymore) video. Thank you. This helped me a lot
Jeff, you get me going everyday man!!! If it wasn´t for you, i don´t know if i could ramp up that motivation to come do my daily practices everyday. Much love from Austria!
This is great, having an exercise that starts in my lower range really relaxes my vocal chords. This is something I hadn't found until now. Found my new daily warm-up.
Jeff I really apologize for taking this long to appreciate you. I’ve had your warm up videos in my playlist for a while now(a year) and it has really helped me and I’m sure you’ve helped millions also. Blessing are really on their way to your doorstep.
Amazing brilliant voice coach sharing the greatness of music. It is so wonderful to know placement of vowels notes ranges definitely define the right exact tone. thank you so much sir!! more power to you... . ( Philippines )
So my vocal coach have sent me this exercises to do at home and this has been life-changing :D Honestly one of the best vocal exercises on YT, I can definitely see progress after using this for 2 months
I just started on line voice lessons about 2 months ago. My voice teacher directed me your TH-cam videos for my exercises. This is my favorite baritone!
You're an amazing instructor! Wish I would have found your vids back when I was I high school. Question, is it possible for baritone to develop a tenor voice?
Thank you! That is very kind! A somewhat famous singer with whom I took lessons for awhile with used to say that as a baritone vocalist he 'masquerades' as a tenor. You cannot change the fundamental make up of your voice, but you can sing with similar resonance characteristics and volume profiles. Your secondo passaggio will be in a different location which may mean that some pieces will be more challenging as the notes may sit on your 'break.' If you're doing that all the time though, you'll probably get really good at it really quickly! The toughest thing will be going against your baritone power zone preferences. As a baritone, your range below g3 will be much warmer and fuller than most tenors. You'll want to curtail that somewhat in order to effectively 'masquerade' as a tenor! Best, Jeff
I love the laid back approach and vibe of this warm up. It fits my personality. Some warm-ups / warm up coaches are so over the top and ridiculous that it just takes me out of the relaxed state of mind I need.

Keeping my word to it, and finally giving a little bit of monetary support to your incredible service. Much love to you, Jeff Rolka.
Big love right back at you! Thank you for your support!! May the mug serve your hot beverage needs!!!
Thank you Jeff for this lesson. You're an amazing vocal coach.
I use this vocal warm up almost every Sunday morning on the way to sing at church. THANK YOU!
I use this every day on my way to work. Helps a lot !
This has to be the best baritone vocal warm up on TH-cam!
Thank you Jeff for this upload, really appreciate it!
All the best for you!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoy the warm-up! Thanks for watching, thanks for your kind words and thanks for leaving a comment! I hope to see you around the channel again!
Best,
Jeff
really digging this warm-up! it's great for my range and makes me feel really primed to sing. challenging and helpful. thanks for your work.
Love it ... I enjoyed my car ride today because of you ... and I feel empowered now to sing!
Phenomenal and immensely effective Jeff!
I've been using this warmup and the tenor one for almost 2 years now, just commenting to say thank you!
Thank you! You’re welcome! Keep up the great practice!
Best,
Jeff
Thanks. Just getting back into a regular practice. This warm-up stretched me, but I can see it will strengthen me as I practice. Cheers.
This is the best warm up video out there thank you I always looked for them but no one actually spent the time to go through it slowly like you thanks
I really appreciate this warm-up
From all the vocal channels on TH-cam you are definitely the most useful one ! Thank you Jeff ❤
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Just starting to work on my voice and it was suggested to find a baritone warmup. Today was my first exercise - thanks. It felt great. Will report back as i practice
How's it going?
I've finally figured out that I'm a female baritone! The alto warmups were too high, so were the tenors. Thank you for making this! I'm happy I have a warm-up now!!! ❤
Me a baritone that covers 3 and a half octaves. Finally found a warm up i dont have to change😭😭😭 ty! This one is so fun and comfortable
Ah... those were the days! Because, of course, there is so much use for all those extra notes! I could really piss off some sopranos. (Which is not difficult to do).
i use this warm up weekly before church services. thanks so much jeff!
This is amazing. Thank you so much for this. I've been trying to find a good baritone warm up (since tenor doesn't fix my voice anymore) video. Thank you. This helped me a lot
Awesome! Thank you for watching! Glad to help!
Jeff
I use your Videos to Warm up my voice every day to get ready for Recording. THAaank yOuuuu
Jeff, you get me going everyday man!!! If it wasn´t for you, i don´t know if i could ramp up that motivation to come do my daily practices everyday. Much love from Austria!
Awesome! Keep up the great work!!!
Jeff
The best warmup for my voice that i have been doing since i found you sir! Thankyou so much!
I can't quite make it past D#4. I've improved and can get to D4 comfortably now, but the F is nowhere in sight.
Great warmup though! Love it!
This is great, having an exercise that starts in my lower range really relaxes my vocal chords. This is something I hadn't found until now. Found my new daily warm-up.
Awesome!!! Thanks for watching!
Jeff
Awesome!! Finally something I can warm up to for my bass/baritone voice! Please do more videos for our voice part. :-)
Will do! I always do the warm ups in five ranges. Big fan of the low tones!
Best,
Jeff
Thank you! I sang in choir many years ago and am re-learning my range as an adult.
awesome.. I guess 2 years ago, i was not ready for these exercises
Jeff I really apologize for taking this long to appreciate you. I’ve had your warm up videos in my playlist for a while now(a year) and it has really helped me and I’m sure you’ve helped millions also. Blessing are really on their way to your doorstep.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words and appreciate you watching and singing along! Thank you!
Jeff
Amazing brilliant voice coach sharing the greatness of music. It is so wonderful to know placement of vowels notes ranges definitely define the right exact tone. thank you so much sir!! more power to you... . ( Philippines )
Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words! I hope to continue to serve for a long time.
Best,
Jeff
.... and once again I use this warm up to make me fit for the band this evening ... thank you!
i love the surfer tone in his voice
So my vocal coach have sent me this exercises to do at home and this has been life-changing :D Honestly one of the best vocal exercises on YT, I can definitely see progress after using this for 2 months
Fantastic! Tell your coach I said thanks! Thanks for watching and enjoy singing!
Jeff
THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO. I feel as if you were listening to me!!! Great job!
I just started on line voice lessons about 2 months ago. My voice teacher directed me your TH-cam videos for my exercises. This is my favorite baritone!
Hello! That's amazing! I am happy to be a part of your vocal studies! Please tell your teacher I said, 'Thanks!!'
All the best!
Jeff
Best,
Jeff
Jeff Rolka I was wondering this same thing! Thank you so much!
Using these vocal warm ups for voice acting - a well-known voice acting coach always said to try to find the musicality in the script. Thanks Jeff!
Great video! I use it twice as my daily warm-up
Fantastic! Thank you for watching!!
Jeff
Felt really good after this warmup. I've gone through this a couple times, but finally got down each exercise to my liking 👍🏽 Thank you Jeff
Anybody else having trouble in the U-E part? I find it hard to pronounce the right vowels and maintain the speed to keep up with the scale.
I love the laid back approach and vibe of this warm up. It fits my personality. Some warm-ups / warm up coaches are so over the top and ridiculous that it just takes me out of the relaxed state of mind I need.
Without any further ado at 0:33 😉 Thanks Jeff! 🐯
