12:48 When Emma Watson answered her casting call, she talked on the phone for almost a solid minute on a single breath and that's how they knew she'd be Hermione.
Hermione is naturally smart and “know it all” but now that I’m older, I understand that she was entering a society where there would be prejudices against her for being a muggle born. She was really trying to make up for that and prove that she could be just as great and gifted.
Let's not forget that it's FREAKIN MAGIC. I'd literally learn everything I could, hell I'd even ask Voldemort for whatever the heck he knows about purely out of curiosity.

Life lessons in Harry Potter: there is a different between trusting someone and relying on them. You might be able to _trust_ Hagrid with your life. But _relying_ on him to keep secrets, not so much.
Of course, ignoring any other reasons behind Snape's actions, as a Gryffindor, Harry has to immediately know everything by heart as soon as it's mentioned to him, and know all the books inside and out before the first class even starts, as opposed to the Slytherins who get free extra tutoring and everything, obviously. For this same reason, Hermione isn't being praised for knowing the answers, as that's what is expected of all Gryffindor students🤷🏻♂️
@@azentra7560 That isn’t what is expected of Gryffindor students at all, it’s more expected of Ravenclaw students since their the smart house. Gryffindor’s are supposed to be brave and courageous, Snape was only asking Harry these questions because of his big reveal at the end of the series, all of the questions that Snape asked Harry were things that he ends up using later on in the series (google what the questions mean if you really want to prove that, but I’m not spoiling people who haven’t seen the whole series).
Didn't both actors play both roles from time to time? I thought I heard them say that in an interview at some point, though that might just have been to mess with the interviewer🤔
Not going lie i think your elbow as boney as it is will do ALOT of damage with some force behind it lol. Btw i approve the water bottle, hope you staying hydrated out here Angelina!
Hey there Billy! Found your channel a few weeks ago and really like you content! And I'm in the middle of your Harry Potter videos! What a coincidence!
Fact: it was confirmed in the official materials that four Hogwarts houses correspond to the elements of nature. Like this: Fire: Gryffindor (colors: red and golden; symbol: lion; most valued features are "fiery" recklessness and bravery; the common room is centered around a fireplace; Dumbledore, who used to be a Gryffindor, has a fiery (literally) pet - you'll see) Water: Slytherin (colors: green and silver; symbol: snake; most valued feature is being able to "quietly" reach the goal (like underwater creatures do); the common room is underground, and moreover, under the lake; Snape, the dean, is a pro in potion making, and what is a potion without water?) Earth: Hufflepuff (colors: yellow and black, like grain and soil; symbol: badger (an animal that lives in the ground); they are the most down-to-earth among the students; the common room is in a semi-basement; Sprout, the dean, teaches Herbology and spends most of the time taking care of plants) Air: Ravenclaw (colors: blue and bronze, like the sky and feathers of their symbol - eagle; those are the most intelligent students whose knowledge can get them "higher than anyone"; the common room is spacious and full of air; during the very first lesson Flitwick, their dean, teaches students how to levitate objects)
@@Xhalph Eagles are actually pretty smart, not nearly as smart as corvids, but still fairly intelligent. You might be thinking of owls, which, while often portrayed as smart and wise, are among the least intelligent of the predatory birds.
@CarolinePhoenixMe Huh. I never knew that. That explains the big ass fountain in the middle of the Slytherin Common Room. That also explains why the Chamber of Secrets has a shallow underground river running through it to a large pool in the main room.
Dudley is wearing a "boater" hat. The skipped subplot is that Dudley had been admitted to a private boarding school (Smeltings, as I recall) and was wearing his new school uniform. Harry was to go to the public school, so the Dursleys didn't pay tuition and Harry would still live there to be bossed around. Petunia was even dying some of Dudley's old cast offs gray, so Harry would be wearing poorly fit clothing, all drab gray, to keep other students from becomjng his friends. Keeping Harry as isolated as possible. If Harry had friends, they might see Harry doing "funny business", and the Dursleys want to be completely normal in every way. Magic is weird and abnormal. You will wonder why Harry lives with them. Dumbledore has good reasons. its not only that Harry has no other blood family. Though in the books, Dumbledore often deplores how they treat Harry. Even the books don't explain everything, and the movies skip a lot of Dursley scenes.
She was dyeing the clothes grey because that was the school uniform for Harry’s new school. It seemed more like they were too cheap to spend money on new clothes for Harry rather than to purposely keep him from having friends.
The back of the movie DVD from 2002 had a quote from a critic Roger Ebert calling it “The Wizard of Oz of its time”. It’s certainly a major landmark. It’s a great, fun family film with wholesome love, friendship, found family, and adventure. Also, STAN Hagrid. He is the best father you never had.
@@FluffyJackie the series definitely focused more on mother figures than anything. [spoiler]’s motivation revolved entirely around his unrequited love for [spoiler]. Ginny is very much like Lily. Molly, Narcissa, and Minerva’s biggest moments come from protecting their own or children they consider their own. I think Hagrid deserved more credit though, [spoiler] definitely should’ve been at least partially named after him.
A year late but the mirror of erised is DESIRE spelled backwards. In the books, he wakes Ron after finding it and Ron sees himself being better than all of his brothers. As the mirror shows what each person desires most.
I would ABSOLUTELY love to see you do the whole Harry Potter series, and I HEAVILY recommend the books. I've read them through at least 10 times each, probably way higher than that actually 19:45 - In the book Quidditch isn't quite as violent (but still pretty violent), and such fouls like that *does* give the opposing teams penalty shots! 20:10 - In the book she uses a certain kind of magical blue flame that she scoops up into a jar as soon as people notice a fire is happening, so a bit less dangerous :) 28:00 - In the book the Queen actually whacks him straight in the head, knocking him out cold Thoroughly enjoyed the video!
Quidditch is actually my favorite part of the books I think they've been done a disservice 😭 but I get it, can't make Harry potter just a sports themed movie 😔
@@GreySeashell-j3m 100% agreed! It was always a treat to see them flying around in the films, but I suppose there wasn't enough time to give us the glorious Quidditch subplots
Can I also add, catching the snitch doesn't TECHNICALLY guarantee a win, the catcher gets their team 150 points. It's highly unlikely that a school match would get that high on the scoreboard, so I imagine that's why the movie doesn't explain it. Pro teams are a different story, getting the snitch is much more an issue especially with timing the catch.
@@Lakross101 they still have to bear that 150 point thing in mind at Hogwarts when Gryffindor and Slytherin are drawing in the league and gryffindor needs to win with a certain point difference so they say there needs to be a minimum point difference before Harry should catch the snitch to win quidditch cup.
27:12 that’s only one of the many times the films did Ron dirty big time. In the books, hermione knows that devils snare hates light, but forgets that she can do magic. Harry says „so light a fire“, Hermione says „but there’s no wood“ and Ron is actually the one reminding her by saying „are you a witch or not?“ and I loved that original dynamic. Book hermione was already a perfectly strong female character, no need to bring this imbalance to the films and make Ron look dumb for laughs. Each of the three has their strengths and flaws which honestly made everything much more authentic in the books. But the screenwriter Steve Kloves even said Hermione is his favourite character and well, it shows. It a little sad, but I still love the films overall, because they made the world real. Nothing beats the books tho, fight me all you want :D
The separation of students into different houses is a very real, and very ancient, part of British public schools. It's partly to foster unity within the house, and partly to create competition between the houses. Most schools like that do have a school cup that's won by one house at end of year.
When you said 72° a had to think for a moment before realizing that USA is still using the imperial system. For the rest of the world it is around 22°C and for nerds like me is around 295 Kelvin
@@johng482 Wait, there are actually people who use the Rankine scale? I thought it was completely obsolete. Using Kelvin makes sense, but why would you use Rankine in rocket science?
I love Harry Potter so much it’s some of the best movies in a franchise ever. They start to get really dark and kind of gritty after number 3. It’s also a privilege that we got to watch the actors grow up
I totally agree with the fact that the Harry Potter is a feel good series, the movies display so much trough friendship, family, love and lots of adventures. In the later movies you'll also see a lot of hardship each of the characters go trough. I think Harry Potter is a great series and anyone should've watch it. (And also read it ofc!!)
thank you for existing and bringing your personality and energy to our screens I know that you make alot of people happy and I hope you continue to enjoy doing what you do thank you for all the hard work you put in
in the books there is a particular line that i love about the start of the friendship between hermione and the boys, it goes something among the lines of "there are a few thing that when people do together, they always end up becoming friends after, and figthing trolls is one of them" i find it such a cute and simple way of telling a nown truth that once you fight alongside someone in a battle for your life, you create a bond with that person... you'll see many soldiers mentioning this, that the bond between brothers in arms is sometimes even bigger than the bond between blood brothers.
Most British schools, especially private ones, have house systems. They're primarily to sort kids into balanced teams for both sport and academic events (mostly sports though). So football matches will be one house vs another house. Sports Day has all houses compete and accumulate points for the trophy. Some schools award points for achievements like in Potter, but that varies from school to school.
I don't know why, but I feel like you reacting to Harry Potter is a match made in heaven. I'm more excited for you to watch it then any other reaction channel.
I'm living for your editor's commentary😅 and the fact they're an hufflepuff too makes everything funnier💛 Loved your reaction too! Hope you'll do all the movies
12:54 - that scene and much of the Hogwarts courtyard scenes were filmed on location at Oxford University in London England. I went there in late May/early June 2017 as part of a study abroad course. The trip included a tour of Oxford and we walked down those very stairs to exit the building. I stood for a moment right where you see Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) standing with her hand on the banister as she waits for the kids. It felt really cool.
13:11 In the books, it's explained that the four Hogwarts Houses are named after the school's four founders, each of whom wanted to teach students with different qualities. Godric Griffindor taught the brave, Rowena Ravenclaw taught the clever, Salazar Slytherin taught the "pure-bloods" (witches and wizards whose parents were also witches and wizards), and Helga Hufflepuff taught everyone else. The tradition is carried on to this day, though the Slytherin House now accepts any students who value ambition above all else, and Hufflepuff students are known for their hard work and dedication.
Your personality is the purest form of magic and I love it! Watching your reactions is like watching it all over for the first time. Thanks for an incredible video!
I just discovered your channel, and as a Theatre major I'll share my five favorite movies. 5: Serenity, the conclusion to Firefly, 4: Clue, the greatest comedy and best use of Tim Curry, 3: Coco, a beautiful animated movie that blew me away and left me in tears despite predicting all of the main twists, 2: Amadeus, a film that is full of psychological torture and art, and 1: The Princess Bride, a movie I doubt I have to defend.
fun trivia: mirror of erised ("desire" spelled backwards), has a message over the mirror itself that reads "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi". Read backwards, the message says, “I show you not your face but your heart's desire.”
10:34 The baby boy who played 1-yo Harry in this shot grew up to play Harry's youngest son in the last Harry Potter film (excluding "Fantastic Beasts" and the other films after that.)
Every time I get a notification saying you have posted a video, my whole mood lightens up,,, I'm in love with your context and you always somehow manage to bring a smile to my face. Thank you
Angelina: 'So why are there houses?' Me: 'Why wouldn't there be houses? What is school without houses?' 😆 I always forget most American schools don't have House systems, even the private the ones. When I went to school all our houses were named after flowers cause I guess our teachers thought it would suit us as little girlies but we would have preferred Pokemon characters. I would represent in a Squirtle House anyday. #SquirtleSquad
Preach on that. My 1st high school had predatory birds for the house names (Falcon, Marshall, Kestral, etc.) which was pretty cool - but my 2nd high school had the names of horses due to the surrounding equestrian estates. Sounds appropriate but it's super lame to be in house Connemara or Palomino 😂
@@nickc127 One purpose they serve is as a form of location identification for social spaces; another is to make categorising things easier during lists/scheduling (for examples, all students in "X" house can do "Y" thing on this week, whilst all students from "Z" are taught by these 3 teachers). It also serves informal roles of creating "friendly" competition. My Year 7 to Year 11 school (aka secondary school) had sports events between houses in schools as a way to make Physical Education a bit more interesting and encourage people to interact with others they might not normally interact with by lumping them together. It's much harder to segregate "the weird kid" or "fat kid" (and so on) if he's stuck on your team, so you have to strategise. My best friend in school has cerebal palsy, and he played football and track with me becuase he was in Holmes with me: we managed to to strategise and mix with people of different backgrounds and abilities to win quite a few sports events as a house. It's better to focus energy "competing" with a kid in a different house than to let people seperate on the basis of cliques, nationality or race. It's not perfect but from talking to many Americans at university, it seems like it leads to a great mixture of races/backgrounds interacting as friends compared to America. In my school alone we had Eastern Europeans and Syrian refugees hanging out with Nepalese, Chinese and African students. It's a good way to create a faux difference that unites you with different value systems
Such a good video! Great commentary and editing! I’m a massive hp fan so watching reactions is always fun for me and I’m very impressed with how great this reaction is!!
29:24 "You'd kill a child for this?" Dude he legit tried to kill him as a BABY, you really think he'll have a problem killing him when he's a little older?🙄😆
Just watched through all these for the first time about a year ago and damn it was so great to get into the world ima little older but I was still was able to immerse myself and enjoy these a fair bit, prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of fire were definitely my 2 favorites
So, a tip going forward. The movies nerf Ron a bit in favor of Hermione. For example, in the books, Hermione does still know how to deal with the Devils Snare trap, but is panicking just as badly as the other two. She actually says she can't create light because she "doesn't have any wood to start a fire", prompting Ron to shout back "Are you a witch or not?!". Then she recalls her wand, and saves the three of them. The director was a huge Hermione fan and pushed to make her look even better, but it negatively affected Ron in scenes like this.
I watched this movie in theaters, we took my 93 year old great great grandfather to see the movie. Lol he still managed to fall sleep even with the theater speakers. He passed away a year later but this still was a great memory to have and Im glad you enjoyed it
Everyone always says Ron should have jumped off the chesspiece, but the problem is that Ron WAS the chesspiece. If he had gotten off, he would have cheated or forfeited. And I don't wanna know what happens when you do sth like that in a wizard chess game. Hopefully it just resets, but I'd assume the figures would focus on and attack him.
idr, do you still have a separate editor? because the commentary to your commentary is *chef's kiss*😂. the dynamic is great, if so. side note: you SHOULD read the books just because, as good as the movies are at bringing the world into a visual medium, there is still so much more detail in the books. and somehow, it's easy as hell to remember it all. plus, some things are different. like for instance: harry's parents look mid-30s or early 40s here but they were actually only 21 when they died, adding another layer of tragedy to the story and the world when you remember that magical people can live way longer than non-magical, making their lives extra cut short
You picked a good series to tackle. I'm surprised you haven't already seen this one all the way through. I definitely recommend the rest. They get more intricate, as time goes on. In some ways, the movies also get more abridged - at least until the last one, where it's split into two films. Maybe, they should have done that for all of them.
For the record I never do the “like for more” thing when prompting- except now. Definitely excited to follow you through these. Also would be curious to see your reaction to A Very Potter Musical whenever you finish the films
6:39: they don’t want the letters, so they went where there’s no mail 13:19: they head of houses that founded the school 17:05: it’s a part of the offenses that operates alone 26:15 - petrified him
My friend forced me to watch the first two of these HP movies with her, but I just couldn't get into them. But seeing your enthusiasm in this reaction kinda making me wanna go back give them another shot. Maybe...we'll see.
I have seen them all and they get more "adult" as they go along. The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Half Blood Prince are my two favourites. All of them are very good and the acting improves as the kids get older.
The houses I think are a quicker way for students to make friends by sorting people with similar traits into one house so they have something to bond over
Get ready for your view count to SOAR, us Potterheads don’t play around when it comes to reaction videos. I think i’ve probably watched every single one out there and i’m still hungry for more
My kids, the oldest of whom were in their 20s and took their younger sibs to watch what the world outside the US calls Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone, down to my older grandsons today, all enjoyed every one of the eight movies in this series. Together with Empire of the Sun, Wonder, The Predator, and Dune, these very good film versions of exceptional books are among the best children's cinema experiences of this century to date.
One of my favorite characters is Hagrid, despite that he can be clumsy and not subtle he has a great heart for kindness and love. I remember on Halloween I dressed up as Hagrid and my oldest nephew dressed up as Harry Potter. I probably consider myself the Hufflepuff version of him. 💛🖤🦡🪄
Yeah I really loved this movie and seeing all of them in the theatres was so much fun! I only read up to the fourth book though. I should finish the series 😊
I recommend to finish but u might want to start the series over if you’ve watched the movies since you stopped reading bc the the books are so much better if you read them all the way through without watching the movie. it confused me when I watched the movies in between the books! Just a recommendation from another Potterhead❤️❤️
They rereleased this movie in theaters last year, and it was such a blast of fun and nostalgia to see it on the big screen. I was so young when I first saw it that I couldn't remember what it was like.
Yeah they are fun. The books especially have that almost mystery vibe at times which I really like. Certainly written for children but still good reads. The most amazing part is how they just popped into existence fully formed. No one wrote them.
I saw all but one at the cinema, and loved it. I tried a couple of times to read the Philosopher's Stone, but I'd get about 3 or four chapters in, and RL would take over. And by the time I was ready to read it again, I'd forgotten where I was and start it again. After the second time of that happening, I gave up. RL still hasn't slowed down, so I did the only thing I could, I listened to the audio book instead. Every time I went for a walk, or walked around the supermarket, doing housework, even in the car, I listened to the books. I've just finished listening to the last book. The English guy reading them on YT, was really good, he does a good impression of the actors accents from the film. There's a lot more in the books than the movies. They're well worth reading or listening to.

Quirrell had Voldemort bonded w/ him... and if u saw the beginning, Quirrell refused to shake Harry's hand cos Voldemort knew that he could not touch him, and told Quirrell not to... Harry's mom Lily Potter cast a protection spell on Harry as a baby from love, and her death activated it. As a result, Voldemort's death curse that killed both his parents did not work and rebounded on Voldemort, destroying his body and power... leaving only the lightning scar on Harry's forehead... it was that same protection spell from Harry's touch that destroyed Quirrell in the end.
The scene where snape ask harry the question about the plant potion in class, he's actually using a secret code, telling harry that he misses his mom dearly because they were close friends as kids
He's not telling Harry anything because he knows Harry doesn't know Victorian flower language, never mind even the answers the the questions he's asking him.
@@maraudentium2607 well actually he is telling harry that regardless of Harry being able to understand. Plus its a good easter egg for people reading the books to figure stuff out before the books after it came out. Like a little coded spoiler from JKR.

Fact: it was confirmed in the official materials that four Hogwarts houses correspond to the elements of nature. Like this:
Fire: Gryffindor (colors: red and golden; symbol: lion; most valued features are "fiery" recklessness and bravery; the common room is centered around a fireplace; Dumbledore, who used to be a Gryffindor, has a fiery (literally) pet - you'll see)
Water: Slytherin (colors: green and silver; symbol: snake; most valued feature is being able to "quietly" reach the goal (like underwater creatures do); the common room is underground, and moreover, under the lake; Snape, the dean, is a pro in potion making, and what is a potion without water?)
Earth: Hufflepuff (colors: yellow and black, like grain and soil; symbol: badger (an animal that lives in the ground); they are the most down-to-earth among the students; the common room is in a semi-basement; Sprout, the dean, teaches Herbology and spends most of the time taking care of plants)
Air: Ravenclaw (colors: blue and bronze, like the sky and feathers of their symbol - eagle; those are the most intelligent students whose knowledge can get them "higher than anyone"; the common room is spacious and full of air; during the very first lesson Flitwick, their dean, teaches students how to levitate objects)
I'm told that eagles are kind of dumb, as birds go.
@@Xhalph Can't judge from the natural point of view, but symbolically they can reach heights that no one else can. That's just it
@@Xhalph Eagles are actually pretty smart, not nearly as smart as corvids, but still fairly intelligent.
Sorry but I kinda think it's weird that green is water, instead of blue! Whenever classical elements are represented blue is usually water!
@@Hayzelle they can afford 37 gifts for a rotten git, they can afford new clothes, they just dont want to
The back of the movie DVD from 2002 had a quote from a critic Roger Ebert calling it “The Wizard of Oz of its time”.
It’s certainly a major landmark. It’s a great, fun family film with wholesome love, friendship, found family, and adventure. Also, STAN Hagrid. He is the best father you never had.
Yeah I actually wish they would've adressed that more and actually made Hagrid some kind of fatherly figure for Harry.

I've read them through at least 10 times each, probably way higher than that actually
19:45 - In the book Quidditch isn't quite as violent (but still pretty violent), and such fouls like that *does* give the opposing teams penalty shots!
20:10 - In the book she uses a certain kind of magical blue flame that she scoops up into a jar as soon as people notice a fire is happening, so a bit less dangerous :)
28:00 - In the book the Queen actually whacks him straight in the head, knocking him out cold
Thoroughly enjoyed the video!
Quidditch is actually my favorite part of the books I think they've been done a disservice 😭 but I get it, can't make Harry potter just a sports themed movie 😔
@@GreySeashell-j3m 100% agreed! It was always a treat to see them flying around in the films, but I suppose there wasn't enough time to give us the glorious Quidditch subplots
nERD
They basically combined Ron's and Hermione's characters into Hermione, then just kind of left Ron around.
Can confirm that seeing these in the theater as they came out was utter magic.
Ooo 22 degrees. Beautiful
As a physicist, this puts a smile in my face
When I reached the word USA I was so confused cause my brain went to geometry
And for me as a literal rocket scientist, it's 533°R
@@johng482 Wait, there are actually people who use the Rankine scale? I thought it was completely obsolete. Using Kelvin makes sense, but why would you use Rankine in rocket science?
YESSS I love Harry potter but I love watching people reacting to it even more ❤
I love Harry Potter so much it’s some of the best movies in a franchise ever. They start to get really dark and kind of gritty after number 3. It’s also a privilege that we got to watch the actors grow up
I absolutely lost it when she called Dudley ”pig kid”😂😂😂🤣😂😂🤣😂😂
I totally agree with the fact that the Harry Potter is a feel good series, the movies display so much trough friendship, family, love and lots of adventures. In the later movies you'll also see a lot of hardship each of the characters go trough. I think Harry Potter is a great series and anyone should've watch it. (And also read it ofc!!)
thank you for existing and bringing your personality and energy to our screens I know that you make alot of people happy and I hope you continue to enjoy doing what you do thank you for all the hard work you put in
this. Seriously, I don't subscribe to movie reaction channels. But this one earned the sub because wow so much fun.
SIMP AND VIRGIN LOL
The editor being a Hufflepuff is a mood 🤣
Ravenclaw represented here 💙💛 great reaction
I'm half Hufflepuff/half Ravenclaw
in the books there is a particular line that i love about the start of the friendship between hermione and the boys, it goes something among the lines of "there are a few thing that when people do together, they always end up becoming friends after, and figthing trolls is one of them" i find it such a cute and simple way of telling a nown truth that once you fight alongside someone in a battle for your life, you create a bond with that person... you'll see many soldiers mentioning this, that the bond between brothers in arms is sometimes even bigger than the bond between blood brothers.
Deathly Hallows is not only my favorite Potter book but also one of my fave books period. Such a great conclusion to the story.
I'm living for your editor's commentary😅 and the fact they're an hufflepuff too makes everything funnier💛
Loved your reaction too! Hope you'll do all the movies
RIP to Hagrid. The actor Robbie Coltrane passed away today aged 72
They also explain this in the movies
Your personality is the purest form of magic and I love it! Watching your reactions is like watching it all over for the first time. Thanks for an incredible video!
What an impeccable cast they found for these movies.
JK Rowling said that Mirror chapter was the most emotional in the whole book cuz she couldn’t stop thinking about her mum while writing it
10:34 The baby boy who played 1-yo Harry in this shot grew up to play Harry's youngest son in the last Harry Potter film (excluding "Fantastic Beasts" and the other films after that.)
Professor Quirrell’s reaction when the troll roars gets me every time !!
Every time I get a notification saying you have posted a video, my whole mood lightens up,,, I'm in love with your context and you always somehow manage to bring a smile to my face. Thank you
Angelina: 'So why are there houses?'
Me: 'Why wouldn't there be houses? What is school without houses?' 😆
I always forget most American schools don't have House systems, even the private the ones.
Our 4 school houses were named after birds - mine was an Owl
My school had houses named after towns in our county. I was in Boston house....
My school had houses named after famous figures:
Darwin
Da Vinci
Austen
Holmes
And so on...
@@nickc127
One purpose they serve is as a form of location identification for social spaces; another is to make categorising things easier during lists/scheduling (for examples, all students in "X" house can do "Y" thing on this week, whilst all students from "Z" are taught by these 3 teachers).
Rest in peace Dame Maggie Smith ❤ wands up to another fallen treasure 🪄
Such a good video! Great commentary and editing! I’m a massive hp fan so watching reactions is always fun for me and I’m very impressed with how great this reaction is!!
Gloucester Cathedral was also used as a filming location for a few of the corridors. (As well as many other films and shows) 😊

29:24 "You'd kill a child for this?" Dude he legit tried to kill him as a BABY, you really think he'll have a problem killing him when he's a little older?🙄😆
Im sure anyone would tbh
Just watched through all these for the first time about a year ago and damn it was so great to get into the world ima little older but I was still was able to immerse myself and enjoy these a fair bit, prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of fire were definitely my 2 favorites
Rest in Peace Robbie Coltraine the actor of Rubeus Hagrid and many awesome characters.
This video was edited by one of them Rees!
The first harry potter is my favorite still cuz they really went all out to show the mystery and wonder and magic of hogwarts
Hagrid: "Very important! Stick to your Ticket, Harry!"

Omg one of the greatest franchises let's gooo! I'm so excited for the rest of the HP commentary!
I am so happy i was there to watch from 1 to 8 Harry Potter movies in cinema, i literally grew up with Harry
@rey I only watched the first two movies growing up. I didn't start watching the rest until recently. I'm currently on the fourth one.

13:19: they head of houses that founded the school
17:05: it’s a part of the offenses that operates alone

Favorite of the books, Goblet of Fire. Favorite of the movies, Deathly Hallows 2. But all are great in their own way. Do them all.
This is literally the first video of yours I've ever seen but you're lovely and should totally continue the series! I'd watch!
Soooo excited for you to see this series!! Great reaction to the first video Angelina!!
Thanks Nick! :)
I read each book in German and English. 5th is the longest book, but the shortest movie.
Shout-out to top tier comedic editing once again👏👏👏👏
One of my favorite characters is Hagrid, despite that he can be clumsy and not subtle he has a great heart for kindness and love. I remember on Halloween I dressed up as Hagrid and my oldest nephew dressed up as Harry Potter. I probably consider myself the Hufflepuff version of him. 💛🖤🦡🪄
Turns out Albus WANTED this to happen, orchestrating much throughout the years. raising and tempering harry to the man we see him growing up to be
Yeah I really loved this movie and seeing all of them in the theatres was so much fun! I only read up to the fourth book though. I should finish the series 😊
@💙 y u n a❕ ooo yea I really liked the goblet of fire. I’m not sure why I stopped.
I recommend to finish but u might want to start the series over if you’ve watched the movies since you stopped reading bc the the books are so much better if you read them all the way through without watching the movie. it confused me when I watched the movies in between the books!

You should! The last three books are the best and while Half Blood Prince is my fav book, Order of the Phoenix is my fav film
Rest in peace Hagrid. There is no Hogwarts without you!
The person she stole most of the story from wrote them.
@@PikminandOatchi who was that
J.K Rowling wrote them.

Why is this so funny to me 😂 Like there are so many more unusual things going on but this reaction is so cute
He's not telling Harry anything because he knows Harry doesn't know Victorian flower language, never mind even the answers the the questions he's asking him.

was skeptical when you said you've seen the first 2 movies, but then I realized you've never seen Umbridge before. This needs to be a series just for that lol
12:18 In the book, Molly (Ron's mom) packed him a corned beef sandwich, but according to Ron, it was so dry it was pretty much inedible... although her cooking is usually pretty good, she was distracted and probably messed up a spell she was using to make it. Also she was sending 3 kids off to school, 2 of which are master mischief-makers.
