The guy did one major mistake, The guy should be wearing gear for safety even if he was just testing the bike out. People need to wear their gear. You can clearly see rider trying to nuzzle down into the seat and give the bike an ever so slight wiggle. Gets his arms locked on and comfy while he adjusts himself too. Then he feathers the throttle just slightly over idle once he is settled in and feels comfortable. He is being chill to not piss off your neighbors, getting the feel for the bike asap, and checking his steering and torque response so he knows somewhat of what he is dealing with before its too late and catches him by surprise. I think he can ride, he’s just being smart. His slow maneuvering shows me he’s comfortable riding however he’s being smart jumping on a bike he’s not use to and never ridden, he also don’t know if the bike has any issues. Why find out it has problems at 80mph. However riding without a helmet is stupid as hell

I remember when i was new to motorcycles and i had taken the bike around my neighborhood super late at night so nobody would see me stall the ever loving shit out of it. Eventually i got it and had been practicing in a parking lot for a few hours just stopping and taking off in first. I felt confident. First night i take it out when people are out on the main road and this Honda pulls up right behind me stuffed with dudes yelling at me "do a wheelie" "burnout" and the anxiety set in....stalled the bike 6 times as they laughed at me. 😅 Worst fear imaginable for a new rider.

😂, We’ve all been there. Like pulling up to a spot where everyone is watching and giving my Harley a quick throttle blip but it coughs through the carb instead, then couldn’t do it if I tried.
Or taking off real fast and mis-shifting , yup, done that plenty too.
Normally people like that, when they give the old throttle or wheelie gesture, I’ll usually return the favor with a jerking off motion, they get the hint.
