I always stock up on ap now😂
when playing on authentic you usually lose whatever is left in the magazine by reloading before it's run dry. switching to a different ammo type will let you keep all the leftover bullets and has you start with a full mag again once you switch back. not sure if this has been covered yet or not, but i thought it might be worth mentioning 😅
That's the tip I was going to share. I only play on authentic, so my method of reloading is a bit more complicated than pressing R :P
I used the mosin nagant and the sjouren(?) so that doesn't happen
Thats a "feature" even in se4 and i love it, but it makes silent pistols like the welrod and hdm rather awkward
@danlaichalk1709 Guns where you reload each shell individually are not affected. All shotguns and rifles with the exception of the M1c and G43 do not lose ammo when switching
You can even cancel the ammo switch and just do a regular COD reload by switching back mid-reload. You switch back as soon as the ammo counter in the menu reads 0 rounds in the gun but before the new ammo has been inserted into the gun and Karl will load a full magazine of the original ammo type into the gun.
You didn't mention that when you tag a dead body the word dead is red if they've been killed recently yellow if it's been a minute and white if it's been a while since they've died

The combo of a Shumine and brick of TNT side by side is very deadly. Also, bottles can knock out enemies and take out alarms.
It is absolutely certain, completely known, and guaranteed understood that this is an excellent video! :)
I recently found out you can use that trick going down ladders quickly can ALSO be used on vines.
They should make a sniper elite in Vietnam. Karl is young enough to volunteer in Vietnam too
would be a cool origin story tbh, having you start off without all the takedowns etc then as you progress you get more abilities

And the 14th thing you didnt know you can locate the player invader or player who doing thier campaign by notice a white pigeon flying off thier area.
Missed one, stairway melee that results in a face plant. In this melee your character grabs your victim by the ankle and pulls his feet from under him. Face hits stairs enemy dies.
I've over a thousand hours in the game and I've only seen that happen once!

Ya might want to do a short, tutorial on “active reload”. I seem to recall hearing about it, but didn’t have a clue how to go about it. Figured it out in the shooting range.
Also, everyone probably knows, but a “tactical reload” in authentic results in loss of ammo in the removed magazine. But change ammo type instead of reload will prevent this. Then switch back to the ammo you wish to use (if you want).
Some may or may not know that a number of gold medal long shots are close to starting locations on a few of the maps
1,4,6,8,9,14 if i remember correctly
On most maps even, as a matter of fact the only one thats far away from any spawn location is on mission 3. And that one is very annoying, especially on authentic bcz the shot u have to take is 1850m away and the devs knew that. They even gave u 50 rounds of match ammo
5:52 The ladder slide down descend is interesting. But it's still not any faster than simply letting go of the ladder and then re-grabbing it on your way down.

Drop kills were new. And I forgot about the "shooting padlocks with AP" thing. Good stuff.

I use to shoot the planes in se4 on the island mission. They’d never not smoke but you knew you hit them
They dont even smoke on SE5 😞
Another some may or may not know.if you dont notice a sniper glint then you can still hear a sound from his scope glint

Drop kills were around in SE 4 (and possibly 3?); one of the two, can't remember which, was a trophy pursuable activity (so many drop kills earned a trophy)
Ariel takedowns were not in Sniper Elite 3 or 4.
I bought it and only 1 day and I’m profesional in this game
Had no idea about using booby trapped bodies as throwable bombs... thats fuckin hilarious. also the aerial attack thing.
Would be cool if they incorporated a DOPE Sheet into the game.
Sprint on ladders was new to me. It's too bad the speedy reload is not there for one by one rifles like the Springfield and the Lee.
A few days ago I knocked down a faust trooper that had the panzerfaust equipped. So after he laid down, he then equipped his panzerfaust and was just holding it pointing straight up in the air. Well, if you insist. 💥

Been doing the human bomb thing since launch. Did it by accident the first time. I was trying to hide a body and forgot I booby trapped it. After that first time, I made it a definite part of my play.
In multiplayer do your binoculars produce a glint?
Binos produce no glint

I asked a question somewhere about cutting the biology lesson but I found out, press the A button twice, perfect.
If you need to drop an item on an enemy for a kill challenge unlocked. I suggest using a bottle while hidden.then placing the body under the item to be dropped on him.its a lot less noisy than no letal bullets and you can do it while hidden too

If you want to use the W&S M1913 no glint scope but find it hard to keep red diamond on a target then slow the controller settings from 60% to 30% or less.whichever suits you

The thing you can’t do when handling over the side of the wall you can not use a pistol to shoot your enemies and when like to see it in the next sniper elite six
I've been playing SE5 since launch.. but only just discovered in survival mode.. when Carl speaks his mouth actually moves to match speech.. rotate your character so that he faces you.. just before a new wave starts to see him talking
I noticed a (glitch?) in Conqueror where unconscious NPCs drown in shallow puddles. Has anyone else seen this? Exiting the town towards the artillery guns, there's a jager on a mounted gun in the elevated trench path close to the second artillery placement. I try to do this section silently, so I subdue him, but he always drowns in the tiny puddle behind him, so instead I sneak past him.
Completed a few times now even the add on but you still showed me stuff I definitely possibly didn't know 😢 that's annoying btw.😮 I do think although the game has improved as the game has developed but not the killing details I personally think they've become less satisfying less grenades to hit on the soldiers so less multi kills. I also wish the balls shot was there and the killing action was faster. But I want more detailed shots speeded up bullet time kills. But I love the game and have completed all series those eagles are pretty hard to find btw.

Cant be that useless, check the comment section. Some people didnt know.
On Authentic mode, without losing your mag or clips you just need to switch other types of ammo once the mag drops, switch it again quickly.
sniper elite 6? cannot wait. of all the games this is my favourite. still haven't found one to match it.
Which enemies have grenades on their belts? I thought that had been removed in SE5 🤔

My tip: grass can hide your scope glint if you haven't eliminated that from your loadout already. It's not perfect and depends on how deep in the grass you are and the angle relative to the ground at which you are aiming.
i dont know if its true as i haven't tested it massively but i think if you block a road for example with a ai swerving sideways in a tunnel or small road no more traffic will go that way or there will be only 2-3 more vehicles that will go through. this does not work when it happens automatically through a glitch however. also if you look upwards after placing a mine you can place another in the exact same place (if you do it slowly). idk if its obvious but you can kill the people inside the armoured car without blowing it up which could potentially take the invaders attention like on Kraken awakes as they may be investigating why the car has stopped and is facing a single direction (not very useful unless you use quiet weapons in which case you can destroy it silently)

Many rate the W&S M1913 as the worst scope in the game but if you reduced the controller settings from the standard 60% to say 30% or whatever your comfortable with then you will find locking on to a target long enough to get a kill

I didnt know about the human bomb one.Here's one some possibly may not know.Tag all enemies.If carrying a collectible/code/key it will show an X on mini map or a white dot on his dead body

As already mentioned the invader cannot equip it.

If you are used to playing on Authentic on 3 & 4 then this game is much easier.

you can just drop down the ladder even faster by dismount the ladder then move forward to remount the ladder (idk if this was patched or not, last played a year ago)
