    Stunning watch - the black faced version is the most elegant in my view.

    I love how at 1:24 he's "going out on a limb" saying it's sapphire, when at that moment in the video, it is clearly printed on the case back. ^_^

    just bought one last month. because of newer model release the price is discounted by over 30% to around USD400. it is a real bargain for an indeed still very attractive Swiss made mechanical watch. i really like it and wear it almost everyday.

    It’s 2019 and I just grabbed one of the bad boys. Solid and sharp piece for sure.

    I have a very skinny wrist, about 7" or so, but I'm very tall, so a larger 42mm watch actually looks great on me. Some people forget that their wrist isn't the only determining factor in what makes a watch fit a person.

    lucasfiney. At 2:05 you say it's a rather small watch. 42 mm is not small unless you have a gigantic wrist. I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist and I wouldn't want to go any bigger with a sport/casual watch.

    Hi Lucas,
    Please advise if the crown is screw down type with hackable time or not. Also, confirm if it has manual Winding and what will be the reserve time.

    • @rob2662
      @rob2662 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it is not a screwdown. Only divewatches have that. This is 'only' a 100 meters. Time is hackable. Reserve time about 42 hours.
      Cheerzz

    Hi lucas i to have the same watch and it is my most expensive watch
    I would like to ask you a question
    Although it is a automatic watch can it also be winded ?
    I only ask because i regularly take it off and dont like having to set the time and date each time it stops and I put it back on
    Would the winding feature allow me to wind it take off the watch and keep it going for a day or 2 ?

    • @coojsta69
      @coojsta69 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +pfunk26 well it does manual wind ..it makes a really disturbing scratching sound but it works
      turn it clockwise while the crown is in the closed position

    Hi, thank you for the video. I have read that these watches run fast. It is true, that this watch runs about 18 seconds faster in a 24 hours period? Thanks :-)

    • @y1git
      @y1git 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use this watch daily. I also sleep with it:D. only time I dont wear is when I take a shower.
      So I use it just over a month and it was +19 sec a day first day. now (after 1 month of daily using) it is +13 sec and decrasing contuniusly. I will be happy if it goes to below +10sec a day.
      I hope this helps.

    • @juanoncello86

      +- 10-15 seconds per day, perfectly within specs for automatics

    i am also wondering is the crown removable ?
    i seem to have scratched mine :(

    • @bobklumpp8698
      @bobklumpp8698 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      All crowns/stems are removable. The trick with this watch is getting the back off with scratching it as it is not a screw down back.

    Tissot is a reputable watch and has Sapphire Crystal. It is part of the Swatch Group that produces, Omega, Longines, Hamilton, Mido and Tissot. This Swiss made brand is a very good Day to Day Sports and Dress watch.
    Please advise if it is hackable and windable or not. There is a typing error on the dial, as (automatic) must be written with A as Capital Letter.

    does it have a screw down crown? some online stores say it is screw down, others don't. Forum on wus say it is not a screw down, but others say yes it is.
    thanks

    • @juanoncello86

      It doesn't have a screw down crown. Source: it's on my wrist. :)

    Have mine now for over 5 years. Do not wear it much. Bezel scratches easily. Alignment is not good on mine. Bracelet is not easy to fix to the right measurements. Or it is to wide, or to tight. So that's a big disadvantage.
    Overall.... It is a nice watch. For the money one of the best you could buy. Entry level Swiss made. Do not expect any wonders. For small wonders you have to be in the +1000 euro segment.

    Small? I wish they had made it in 38 mm. I have a 7 in (18 cm) wrist.

    • @Smaug1

      I have a 6-3/4" wrist, and this is definitely pushing it. I too would have preferred 36-38 mm.

    Thanks a lot! :D really nice Watch and I love the mechanism. The only thing is that the day indicator is in English (I mean MON, TUE, WEN, ...) and I think it would be better if it were in french or in german, because it's a swiss brand ... but it's normal! Thanks again, subscribed and liked it was really informative (sry for my English) :)

      +Jeff Kelly Yes the ETA 2836 is hackable, its basically an ETA 2824 with a day date complication. 28800BPH.

      It's not a dress watch. It's a Tissot T Sport. It has the word "sport" for a reason.
