One thing that I learned was to put my meats on a small cookie sheet in the fridge so all the juices do not get on the fridge.

Woot! Looks great! :) The liner pattern is so cute. I would suggest poster putty to get the liners to stick. You got the textured ones, so I don't know how well it work work with those, but it works great on the solid plastic ones. xo!! :)

Taking things out of boxes and putting them in the bins it saves TONS of room. i do this with my snack cupboards, and fridge. Just fyi. I think you would love it. Like my kids go gurts, or fruit snack , all boxes get tossed out if possible Thought I'd share my tip love your energy.

Judye Carter Releford They do. They are usually with the porcelain plates and cups and if not there, go to the craft section. I've bought a lot of clear containers there.
That is by far the nicest Dollar Tree I've EVER seen! Wow!
I love those bins too, especially the ones with the handles on front, because they are easier to pull out and hold on to. I organized my freezer with bins too. I, also, like those tall plastic jar-type holder with the lid that pops open. I use those for cereal, which is great because you can actually see what type of cereal is in it. I love those fridge liners. I picked the rubbery liner for drawers and such, because they don't slip. All the ideas definitely help to keep the fridge organized and clean!!!

I like the basket ideas but the door is always the warmest part of the fridge so anything dairy or meat should not be left in the door it needs to be on a middle to top shelf yogurts cheeses milk eggs that sort of thing but other than that I love this
Double-sided tape to stick the placemats inside? I would also cut an extra set if they are washable. You could swap them out so while one set is being cleaned, you have a fresh set to put inside.

You and I have THE exact same fridge! I've been so frustrated with it ever since I bought it eons ago. I love the freezer section and what you did to organize the chaos (mine looks like that too)! Fridges no longer have to be opened from a latch on the outside. Those deaths were almost exclusively before the Refrigerator Safety Act of 1956. That's a LONG TIME that fridges have been made safe and more child-proof. I wouldn't worry so much

Look forward to watching the latest vlog. Crazy lady, up until 1:30am, but all would have been quiet in the house and you could be in uninterrupted cleaning/organising heaven. I hope you didn't get up at 5am after staying up that late!
This was such a great idea! I always go to my local Dollar Tree for bins and what not to organize things in my room. Now, I can let my mom know about this so we can try this out. It came out lovely!

Nyna Petrov thawing meat ..the best way is to put the package on a half a cookie sheet with paper towel under the meat so the juice is absorbed.

I love shopping at the $ tree!! I organized my freezer using some of the bins I got from the $ tree...of course, I need to go through everything & redo it....

rather than using placemats I use press n seal wrap. Looks like etched glass and when dirty, you just peel it off, toss it and reapply a new layer. :)

you can buy rolls of this rubber stuff and cut it to size. Not sure what it is called but you can pick it up at dollar stores walmart of hardware stores. They use it to open jars or line shelves when you don't want things to move. white black beige are the basic colours.
if you get it just cut a few small squares and glue them to the underside of the mats.
thanks for the idea of bins in the fridge. will give it a try.

I have a couple of those deep bins that I keep in my freezer. I freeze a lot of meals ahead of time and then I can put them in the bin like file folders. Works our great and easy to rotate. Same goes for your frozen meat as well.
I did not realize it got so hot in Oregon. It is hot and SO humid here in the Deep South.

For non sliding there should be some non skid shelving rolls in the same area as either carpets or contact paper. I use it for both placemats to keep from sliding and in glass and mug shelves so thst when stored after cleaning upside down cam continue to dry as air can circulate underneath.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one excited by organization stuff lol
I have four kids so I went to the dollar tree and bought things to color code my kids. I got tried of not remembering which one of my girls had which brush. Our oldest daughter is blue, our next oldest which is a girl is now purple, she was red but could find many things that were red. our son he is green and our youngest she is orange. I have bought laundry baskets in there colors, little baskets that sit on the counter in the bathroom that holds each of there own brush, toothbrush and toothpaste. Any time I go to the dollar tree I try to pick things up in there colors. I have also gotten baskets to use for my youngest two kids for there homeschool workbook and stuff. Thanks for sharing this video. I think I am going to looking into doing the same thing for my fridge

To help it not slide around, get those little gels that are for your hills to prevent blister. That way it won't slide but can be easily removed to wash.
do you have any ideas to organize my refrigerator freezer? it didn’t come with any shelves
the bin idea for the fridge is great and you quickly know what you need to get at grocery store. are those bins and other plastic stuff BPH free? keeping plastics at minimum contact with my and my pets' food has mad a difference for us.

To make the fridge placements nonslip, apply hot glue from a glue gun in fun wave patterns all over the bottom. LET IT DRY before putting them back in the fridge!
I have plantar fasciitis too and rolling around a tennis ball helps, like the frozen water bottle, but what really feels great is a futzuki! A plastic mat with raised nubs all over that you stand on, it uses reflexology or acupressure to relieve foot pain. $15 at my local drugstore in the as seen on tv section and worth every penny!

Hi you could put a small piece of blue tack on the corner of your shelve liners and they should stay put and it will be easy to take off when cleaning the fridge , keep making your video's I love all your tips and idea's ....hugs Katie x

you can buy at the dollar store the nonslip rubber mats for under your liners not to slip. great job. i use baggies fora lot and veggies (carrots peppers celery )washed re wrapped in paper towels to absorb moisture
love it..We have the same space in our fridge...I bought placemats from ikea that fit the glass perfectly with no left over space..They are plastic and super cheap and only cost 1.50...
Question why do you put your coffee grounds in the fridge?
I would move the 3 shelve up a notch. Also use racks to put the bins, you can then have more room for rectangle contains at the bottom

Use glue stick to hold the place mats in place. It is water soluble so it comes off with soap and water. I use bins in my fridge too!

label idea you have the scrapbook punch use that on card stock and if you want spray paint it with chalkboard paint then you have as many labels you will need also the bowl you used for apples is dishwasher safe and great to use as a garbage bowl when cooking!

I also do a sandwich bin..lunchmeat, butter, miracle whip and jam. also do one for hot dogs/buns/ketchup/mustard and relish.
I used this same idea from Dollar Tree about 10 years ago 2 organize both freezers. Still using same ones.

I used contact paper on my shelves. Works amazing. Easy to clean and they sell it at the dollar tree and 99 cent store.
Those little clear dots could be stuck on the bottom of the mats. I found some at Dollar Tree. They work well for everything.
its so pretty! I cant wait until I get to my new house and do this. to make the mats non skid maybe put hot glue dots on the corners or run strips of glue down the sides.

I am looking how to organize my fridge as well, BUT my landlord put the wrong bottoms shelf that holds the 2 bottom drawers in place in my fridge!! So it's constantly falling, it's even cracked!! Ugh it cannot take much weight, all I have is the top shelf, a small shelf and drawer, the bottom (unsteady and breaking) shelf and two drawers, seems the bins would take up MORE room?? Just as I saw in another video a lady made lazy Suzan's but they definitely took up way too much space!! And like yours, my fridge and freezer are a MESS!! Would be ashamed if someone came over and looked lol, any suggestions? Thanks
If you have a hot glue gun use that to put on the bottom of your placemats. It will make it non slip. Good for the back of area rugs as well.

i like the way you set stuff up..if you want your liners to stop moving just spray the shelf down with some water (not a lot) and just let them stick to the shelf that way.
To help planter faciaitis exercise the Achilles' tendon by doing heel raises whilst standing 10 x twice a day and lunge stretches. Don't rely on the shoe inserts to get better. I had this on both feet as well, it is very painful. Good luck Josh 😉

Add some hot glue to the bottom of your shelf liners. Let the glue harden and that will keep them from sliding. Just like your slip proof socks.

Your fridge looks great! Maybe try the dollar tree brand adhesives. They are a knockoff of 3m strips. That might do the trick for your fridge liners. ;)

I have purchased my containers....the reason is that those buckets r like a junk drawer. I didn't pay much, but to dollar store people, I know,u have great ideas. For me I purchased nice clear heavy duty low containers strictly for a fridge...I didn't buy them all at once so it wasn't a huge cost in one trip.

You can use rug pad...cut and size to fit your mats..."you can find at walmart or dollar store...big Kisses"

Hi there , I'd suggest for you to get maybe one or two rolls of the rubber type stuff that is usually used for lining the cabinets and drawers and use that under your mats in the fridge :)
In your two bottom drawers in your fridge you should put fruits in one drawer and vegetables in the other drawer

Hi there! I've recently learned that storing milk/dairy on the fridge door isn't a good idea! It goes bad faster since it's less cooler there :s it's better to store the condiments :) Sweet family you have!
