- Hey guys! So this project was inspired byall the awesome feedback I received on my Pantry Organization Video. I know a lot of you guys were not happy with either the $12 price point for my rack or you simply can't find it. Also, I know a lot of you guys struggle with space issues. So I wanted to provide and affordable and any skill level solution for you guys begin getting your small space organized. I really do hope that you enjoy this video and as always, I appreciate you guys and thank you so much for watching!

I have watched so many organization videos on TH-cam but this is the most awesome economical one I’ve ever seen. Loved how you considered skill level, tools etc. great job and I am definitely going to borrow this idea.

I was so impressed with this video that I immediately went to the Dollar Store and bought everything, came home and put it together. I am very, very happy with the results! I purchased the 4 racks but may very well expand upon it. I hung it on the inside of the pantry door and it's adorable and functional. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. I know it`s 3 years later, but, it is still appreciated. I have the perfect spot for this. I never even thought of zip tying them together. So clever.
I recently bought 2 of the over the door clothes hangers to attach to the back of my bedroom door. I took a couple pieces of long and wide grosgrain ribbon to tie them both together - bottom to top. On the top cup like hooks I have my blouses hung on a hanger and on the bottom hooks I have my skirts on the hangers with the hooks on them. So far it has been pretty good. Attached to the right top one on the side I have plastic scarf hanger where I thread my scarfs thru. I have been doing this for about a month now and never saw your video until 5 minutes ago. The shampoo caddy is the one I have in my shower and when my sister's guinea pig came over for me to watch her the cage was not brought or the bottle holder so I quick ran to Home Depot and bought plastic pieces - 6 total that you use to trim around your flower beds. I taped them to the side of my large coffee table and it was near the 4th of July so I taped my mini flags to the corner. I told Butterscotch she now lives with a white picket fense around her yard. To hold up her water bottle I used the shampoos caddy and I fastened the caddy backside to the plastic fense. With the little top shelf I had her jars of dried food and her fruity treat bags so it worked out well for a couple of days. Years later I inherited Butterscotch as my animal and she lived with me for 15 months until she just passed away March 20, 2019 the first day of spring. I hope you will see my comments with your other comments so aged you may not go onto this site anymore. If your still around thank you. I know what to go and buy another clothes hanger one to see how I might be able to use it in my kitchen because I have so many cups and the shelves are starting to bow. I've been struggling to figure out how to affordably, if not completely freely, organize my entire home. My family rarely has any surplus finances after paying the bills, but I've been really successful in finding these absolutely possible solutions. I've seen those types of shower racks in the "free" ads on craigslist numerous times. A lot of contractors and flippers put up "free" ads for leftover or replaced materials, so you can find just about anything if you check regularly. I'll have to keep my eyes open for them, unless I happen to be able to afford the $6. Sounds so cheap, unless you don't have even that to spare. lol But I seriously appreciate this idea, as well as all the other genius ideas I've picked up along my future fully-organized home adventure. Thank you!!!
To protect the top of the door in a rental, just place some clear wrap over the top. 3M Command hooks are also great to stabilize this kind of rack so it won't swing when you open and close the door.

I love this! Just moved from a three bedroom house w/garage to a two bedroom apartment! Also going to school so there is no money 😂 definitely trying this in my baby pantry.
I love this and when I did mine I ended up using it for crafting supplies for my Grand daughter's visits at summertime. It worked great for all her arts and crafts outside, as it held all that she needed and after summer and she moved on to other things I moved it into my kitchen.

another great idea is to use two over the door hooks. from them hang a piece of lattice .then hang all you want

I made it! I'm so not crafty but thought this was a perfect idea for my tiny galley style kitchen to hang on the pantry/laundry room door. My boyfriend was perplexed about why I came home with 4 shower racks when we already have EXPENSIVE racks in both bathrooms. He thought this was a cool idea once I put it together. I love how handy it is and how easy it was to make. The only thing I forgot was a basket and some shower hooks to hang on the bottom. (I actually looked for the shower hooks but they were out. I'll check another store tomorrow. Thank you for sharing this idea!

This a perfect solution for my small studio. I already bought the shower caddy but wasn't sure how I was going to use them. I don't have a pantry but this will open space in my cabinet. Thank you I am on my way back to the DS.

I found one of those planters that hold three dinner-sized plates. I cleaned it and used real dinner plates. I put all those things right on that, in the corner of the sink now. But it might be worth putting one of these up for overflow!

This is such a great use of Dollar Tree products! Love it! Even though we have very few doors in our house, I'm going to try this using nails in the wall. It would be great in the bathroom for hair care products, wash cloths, brushes, combs, etc. I think it would also work for cosmetics, next to my free standing antique vanity.
