I’ve bought the TKL version as a Black Friday (2022) deal and plan to mod it much the same way. I may also add some silicone to the case if there’s room. Great tip about testing stabilizers before adding grease. I’ve overlubed a couple. You really notice this with the space bar. Slight hesitation on the return after a press is really distracting.

thanks mate! if you want the best for gaming go for silver, yellows are good for both but much enjoyable in typing. :)
@@jtechmkb I really like glorious since I have the model D, but I've seen a gk61 with optical silver/yellow switches, do you think optical silvers are that much better for gaming?
@@ItsBigEz Yes they are good for gaming. It's faster than mech switches. The only down side for me is that optical switches has less variety in the market and is loud and gets annoying overtime (but you can lube it too if you want). For gaming, I'll go with gmmk compact, 100%. :D
Where did you get the lubing station?

What are the dimensions of the pcb? And the placement of the screws? Is it possible to remove the pcb and plate and put it in another case?
You can check it out on their website but I don't think you can put it in another case unless you're going to make a custom 3d printed housing.
Can you change the stabs on this board!
Yes you can. But it's not necessary because the stock stabs are good enough. Just needs tuning. :)

What happened? check the stab wire if it is installed properly. :)
Idk what to do mine has really bad pinging with the gateron browns and i did the foam mod and the tape mod
Just lube that springs with krtyox 105 (bag lubing method) then 205g0 for the steam (and light lubing on the buttom housing) you might want to you know, change switches to a better one like the glorious panda or boba u4t if you really in to tactile switches. :)

yes this is the updated version my friend. :)
The bandaid mod had to be done on the plate because you have plate mounted stabs. So basically you have bandaids on the PCB doing nothing
I think it adds a little bit of cushioning on the pcb. I only use the tape on plate when the stabs housing are very wobbly. :)

yes they are and it's a good one. :)
All my Stabs are so tight I can't take them out
just to to sneak the lock and pull it up, it should work.
