I have the same press and love it! My husband and I have implemented everything you have mentioned over the last 10months and will open our online store over the next 2 weeks. As always thanks Brandoh for taking time to share your knowledge and keeping it real! Sending positive vibes and blessing to you and your beautiful family.
Just purchased the basic slide out drawer from the series before they run out lol. Had the MPress less than 2 months and wanted this since day 1. Thanks for all you do Big Brandoh!
i would recommend this press to anyone if it fits your budget. nothing wrong with getting something cheaper in price and then upgrading later down the road after you made some money with it. good luck with your new business
I just ordered the same machine as you. For two reasons, 1. you are straight to the point with your lessons. 2. you are the only one that said how many years you have had your machine. Most TH-camrs are saying ( I have the machine for a little while. few years, short time) ( or if you can get the more expensive one, do it) I have only seen 3 of your shows so far, but I will be looking into as many as I can in my spare time
hahaaa i appreciate that. i never recommend buying the most expensive equipment. everything has its place and need. Hotronix and DK's are good machines but really made for high production. Sig Series by HPN is a great all around machine. can handle high volume with great useful features and doesnt break the bank. i always feel like you can always upgrade later after you've made some money with your current heat press. thanks for watching.
it comes down to production... will you be pressing 100+ shirts a night or a dozen shirts a night? The sig series is made for high production volume. thats the main difference between the two. both have slide out drawers both made by HPN. similar on paper. but it all comes down to being honest with yourself on your production. if you are just getting started, you dont know your production flow yet but we all like to dream that business will boom right out the gate and we need a high production press. But thats not the case, it would be over kill to buy a sig series and only use it once or twice a week. saving the money and buying the craftpro would be the best option of just starting out. use the extra money for more blank shirts or more vinyl. you can always upgrade later sown the road as you make money and figure out your production needs. if business doesnt boom like you anticipate, at least you didnt drop a budget on the sig series. get me?
Thank you for this video! I design tumblers and wine glasses, but I want to do more!?I’am new to sublimation and HTV. I started out with a easypress2 to see if I wanted to get serious with the craft. I wanted a clamshell because doesn’t take up too much space. I worried about burning my hands! This is what I have been looking for! Peeped a few of your videos! You are down to earth, to the point and informative! Thanks again!
i appreciate that... Thanks for watching... I face the same challenge when it comes to space, Having the slide out drawer helps alot. The Sig Series is great. i've had it for years with no issues. also check out the Craft Pro. i have links for both in my description box. both have slide out drawers.
from my understanding, it comes down to production. Sig Series is good for high volume pressing (50-150 shirts back to back no stopping type of volume) Craft Pro is made for smaller runs, low quantity pressing (5-25 shirts back to back) its like whats the difference between a toyota Sienna mini van or a Toyota 4Runner. they both do the same thing but made for different situations.
Big Brandoh! Tight video man, really appreciate these. How much higher quality would you said the signature series is compared to the craft pro? Leaning towards just spending the extra for the better model, but wanted to hear your thoughts since you've used both. Thanks for all you do and keep killing it!
it comes down to features. Signature Series has a threadable slide out drawer and auto open option. Craft Pro doesnt have these features. both presses are made of good quality and produce solid even presses. i've had my sig series for years and have put thousands on top of thousands of shirts thru that press with no issues. its a beast. whatever fits your budget. they are both great presses and you wont be disappointed. check the links in my description.
Great video!! Can you tell me if there is an obnoxious beep when the timer is up? Is it like a long one or a quick I'm done? I work on my shirts at night after kids are asleep. Don't want to wake the kiddos up. I'm pretty much sold on this one because of how well you speak about it. Thanks for sharing!
Nice!!. Great info.. im looking forward to getting one myself the same machine soon. Getting started with some home projects. Quick question.. on the HPN site.. how important is purchasing the “my expert protection” plan.. is it worth it, or bypass the plan and go with manufactures warranty.. whats your personal thoughts?.. looking forward to hearing you out..keep up the great work big brother.. peace
Big Brandoh thanks a bunch for the quick response! My current heat press keeps shutting down after like 200 degrees, but I am thinking the issue is the heating element so I’ll just upgrade to this one.
yeah it could be the heating element in your current press. check the links in the description box. and my newest heat press video. thanks for watching.
Big Brandoh sorry to be a bother but I received my heat press and it’s just beeping nonstop and not heating up. I will call customer service tomorrow (they are closed), but if you have any tips, I would greatly appreciate it.
how bout how is the machine after 10+ years? hahhaaa still works no issues. matter of fact, I bought the Signature Pro because of the nee Sure Pressure knob. my signature series still worked and actually still works. The person i gave it too is still using it hahahaaa check my newer vids. you'll still see i use HPN's signature line.
placed my order. thanks a lot! And can you tell me which video you had the info on how to use the mouse pad? I watched a lot but haven't seen the one about the mouse pad.
Thank u for the video brotha.! Jus ordered my press today... Had a quick question tho I see u have a black cover over the slide out drawer... Is that something that comes with the press or is that purchased separate? Thank u for everything you do and all the grate content..! If it wasn't for your videos I would be lost so Thank u bro!
on my craft pro i just have the rubber silicone pad. on my sig series i have the lower platen cover. it helps and it works. keeps the rubber pad in place and makes laying the shirts down and sliding them off way easier
Yo wassup Brandoh! I just got the HPN signature series 15x15. That's a heavy boy right there. I'm looking for a table to put it on. The plastic one I got ain't gonna cut it. I went to home depot didnt see a heavy duty one. Can you tell me the brand of the table that you're using? I need something strong enough to handle that weight.
i use work benches from Home depot. when i first got my sig series years ago. i used a 4ft plastic table in my living room hahaa. but any work bench would work. home depot or harbor freight.
Hey Big Brandoh i wanted to ask where i can get t-shirts for cheap (under $5) with good quality that customers would be happy with... & have a bit of softness like Bella Canvas tees
How do you lower or turn off the beeping sound when you make adjustments in the settings??? I cant figure it out and i'm losing my mind. Might return the press because of it.
Hey Lucas! The beeping can't really be turned off as it's a safety feature but I have heard of customers putting a small piece of electrical tape over the speaker. The speaker is located on the back of that display screen. (It's the small black cylinder with a hole in it) This will muffle the sound so it's not as loud.
@@BigBrandoh I'm sorry for not being so specific. i am currently learning the Subli-light not cut from Forever. i have been having a lot of issues with this product. the image will stick to the garment maybe at 60% and the rest will stay on the paper. However, as a newbie I still having a hard time trying to get the right pressure for this garment since the subli light seems to be very delicate.
got you. i never used sublilight before so im not familiar with it. as for pressure. you put 4 pieces of paper hanging off the corners. crank the knob down until you can get a solid clamp on the press and you cant pull out the 4 pieces of paper. this will be considered "firm or heavy" pressure. if you clamp down and you can still pull out the papers the you need to crank the knob down more
@@BigBrandoh Thank you for all your help and input. One last thing: Do you use screen printing or heat transfer paper? if you do use heat transfer paper, what kind of paper do you use for the no cutting & no weeding (dark or light garment)? Thank you again.
How do you adjust the tension (pressure) on the press? I bought the HPN Signature series but I did not get the one with the pressure gage. How do you make sure you get the same pressure every time. I have been counting the turns of the pressure knob to be consistent but of course that changes every time you change to a different material. Also, do you ever have problems with the auto close not staying closed. Sometimes, mine pops back open right after i close it long before the timer should release it. I then have to decrease pressure until it will stay shut. Thanks for all the videos.
