I have to admit, that this is the first Paul Meany song that I've listened to. Now, I will absolutely be listening to more! This song is absolutely brilliant! Can definitely hear the Trench and even more so, Clancy influences, even the lyrics themselves.
As a fan of MuteMath and Paul Meany since around 2006, and a Twenty One Pilots fan from around 2012, this was super fun to watch! I think Trench and Clancy both definitely have some Paul Meany inspo and I’m so here for it! ♥️ I can’t wait for more stuff from Paul. He’s also worked with The Blue Stones and half•alive so you should totally check those two groups out.
So glad you liked it! It brought me so much Joy to hear Paul making new music! I was fan all the way back when Mutemath came out with their Reset EP and I saw them live a bunch of times!
soooo good! Been a fan of MuteMath for so long and, of course, i'm a massive twenty one pilots fan so having Paul play a huge role in Trench and Clancy has been incredible to hear though the years. The lyrics are so important too. Truly our significance comes from knowing, loving, trusting, and following the God that exists. Tyler writes about that a lot too, as all of us in this comment section already knows haha. like in "Doubt": "Even when i doubt You, i'm no good without You"
Wow your me. Loved Mutemath first. Then fell in love with TOP. Think the same thing about Doubt. I try to see the meaning in it all, that there are messages about God
I’ll be honest, it’s very generic and sounds like a rejected imagine dragons demo. I’m a big fan of his production and voice and this is a fine first single but I hope he gets better from here
I’m a lifelong PM fan going back to Earthsuit (pre-MM). So glad I have company!
Same! One time one time!
Earthsuit, heck yes!!!

Love and appreciate Paul SOOOOOOO much! Agreed - so wonderful to hear his voice again!

An uplifting song about depression. Kind of rare these days.

Oh my gosh I didn’t expect it to be sooo good
You guys should listen to another band produced by PM, The Blue Stones. The album Hidden Gems was produced by Paul and its FIRE
guys we can just pretend this is the double album 👍
Very good song! I love the drums in this one, and voice production is amazing 💜💜💜
Definitely Mutemath vibes but thats understandable. Still hoping for a reunion one day, it sucks how they ended.
One of the saddest days I can remember when I saw they were breaking up. 😢
@@LukeParodiMusicsame here! I have been a fan since 2006 and never got to see MM live. 😭
@@Saraheyp that’s a bummer! I have seen the 4 times, including when they opened for TOP 😊. Fingers crossed for a reunion tour!
@@LukeParodiMusic Nice!!!! I also hope to see TØP someday too. 😁 If we get a MM reunion tour one day, I will do everything I can to go! Lol!
@@Saraheyp highly recommend that! My favorite shows I’ve ever been to! Watching Paul do handstands on his keyboard is something I’ll never forget
Good song! Good reaction!
Loving life! It's rough -God Exists, he helps, the Holy Ghost, etc.-
