Your enthusiasm is totally merited and your comment on it reaching people who would normally find this kind of music difficult is also right on. I work with a young vocalist who is your normal pop consumer - with taste - who likes complexity and layers who loved this when I played it to her. This is the ultimate crossover where musical complexity still touches people. An EXTREMELY IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE FEAT THESE DAYS!!! I’m still trying to get my head around 7 going to 2, 3 and on to 4 in one song with crazy jazz chords, not only on the piano but also the bass. Ridiculous stuff:))))))))

I’m glad I’m not the only one who fell in love with this song. It’s so well produced and kinda takes me back to the 90s with some of the pop they had back then.

I first heard this song about a week ago and I had very similar reactions and thoughts about it!! I am a huge Fiona Apple fan as well and Willow’s music is right up there with Fiona’s!! Excellent tune and the album is fantastic!! I’m thinking Grammy for Best Album!!!

I need her to release a whole album with this sound. She could influence the pop music landscape for the next few years.
This sound is just fantastic. Dreamy, it's complex but you can groove to it. Definitely a landmark moment for modern pop music.
It's one of the best pop songs I've ever head.

Totally agree! I haven't had a song on repeat for over 2 decades. Everything about it is amazing. Also, the courage it took to push this into the pop music scene. They gave the people what they need and not what they want. FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG

Very special performance, Every element was perfection. As you said a live performance would be nice to listen to but This studio version used enhancements and effects to add to the overall composition. Great reaction as usual.

The bass and drums are punk rock japanese rock sound. The piano riff sounds like jazz. Its sounds like alternative rock more lean towards rock sound. Meloancholy flat alto voice
