Hello friend! It is always a pleasure to be able to accompany you, from Brazil, through these beautiful landscapes in your country. The howls of wolves sound like a welcome message to their territories. Gratitude!
Kudos to you. This is the best ADV series I have watched during Covid. Amazing for a one man show. The earlier stuff is so good. Stuff I will never get the chance to do but I can live it vicariuosly thru these vids
Beautiful video. Well shot and directed. Like the first part without any music or dialogue. Put the whole comping experience in context. Love your work. You are an inspiration. Thank you
You are the coyote whisperer.... ;-) I have to say I've really enjoyed this series. I've led dozens of group adv rides over the past 13 years, but only done a few solo trips during that time. You've reminded me how uniquely rich and rewarding a solo trip can be. Thank You Sterling!
Another great episode....I’m gonna hate to see this end, but you likely will make it home in the next video. THANKS so much for sharing your adventure....NO doubt your videography was a BID endeavor an work!
Just love your "no nonsense" videos, beautiful country and your journey so well documented. Dropping my bike is my greatest fear (my age and treatment for "the Big C" have greatly reduced my strength) you did so well in your recovery, Luckily, both times I dropped mine recently, I had assistance to get it back up, not sure if there is any way I could manage on my own like you did. Guess it's all part of the ADV experience. Looking forward to more of your travels 👍 ride safe.
As a guy who has never camped once in my life (my idea of "roughing it" is a hotel with no room service! lol), I'm amazed at the tools available for cooking, and the variety of great foods you are eating! You are eating better than I do at home usually. I really like that little Firebox stove, too. Such a great setup you have. Love the videos!
able to ride unaccompanied like you do and still enjoying stuffed mushrooms swordfish and a cold beer you definitely know how to pack those coyotes sounded close
Another beautifully done video. Great work! I am waiting for a weekend night to myself and I am going to be binging straight through a bunch of your work, love it!
Great movies about your trip. I enjoy them very much. Greetings from a Africa twin driver from the Netherlands (Holland). Ps i' am very inprest by your great backcountry in the States.
I'm making the switch from a Yamaha Stratoliner Dlx. to a Yamaha Super Tenere this weekend. I'm looking forward to being able to ride off the beaten path like you are. Riding is keeping me sane in this crazy world of 2020 insanity. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
I'm tempted to ride out and join you on your wandering. I typically go out for 8-9 days each year for riding and camping and didn't get to do that this year. Your videos are stirring the longing. I love it so.
Great series of videos. I ride a 990 and can't wait to try something like your trip. Don't you ever worry about running out of gas while exploring all those back roads..
Honestly Ive never carried extra fuel or needed it in all of my years of riding. I get about 200 mile range which cuts it close sometimes, but with good awareness of my fuel level and planning I can go just about anywhere without carrying extra fuel or running out of gas. It's very seldom that I would ride anywhere in the US for more than 200 miles without a gas station.
And I’d guess that you have coyotes in the hills surrounding Bisbee as well... I can’t wait to head back there; perhaps in the next 60 days or so. Great job as usual!
Another amazing video! Have enjoyed the complete series, and found each video to be very entertaining and informative. Hope to come down and stay at the hotel some day soon to discover Bisbee, and have a beer with you both.
Your motorcycle trip seems to be a journey on which you harmonise with nature, almost like a native American before the white man took over. Really beautiful! Looking forward to your next video.
You differ NOT at all from our fathers that came out here looking for a better life... They all did the same as you do on this trip. They rovered/wandered the land found a place to eat/rest/sleep... How cool is that!! I'm going to sub just because YOU DIFFER!!! I can't see myself gone for 3 weeks though...maybe some day...I.live in Arizona as well and guess what I own a 2019 R1250 GS HP... What a coincidence!!! Cheers brother ride safe ride long
Beautiful video! You inspire me! I ride midrange motorcycle but I think it’s good for the similar adventure! Can you advise is any weapons needed in such solo trips?
Man, you really know how to cook in the wild, that was an awesome meal. Is that area you rode in and the campsite accessible by a street touring motorcycle? Really enjoying your videos, excellent work! Yes indeed, lots of crazy going on in the world. Your journey seems like heaven on earth to me. Keep on riding that endless highway...
I look forward to each video in the series. I love the riding as much as the camp commentary. I’ve shared these with friends who are curious about how and why I do my own trips. I am crious why you choose jeans to ride in. Are you wearing knee/hip armor? Keep up the amazing story.
Yes, the jeans have armor in them and I simply like them for their comfort as opposed to big and baggy adventure pants, which I also use when I expect to be in bad weather.
Love your videos and really appreciate the content and the work you’ve put into them. I do have a question about the beer you carry in. Great idea and I plan on doing that but is it not shaken up when you open it? Seems like a silly question but I’m honestly wondering if you fill it up completely or how you avoid the spew when opening up the thermos?
I do try to fill it up all the way so that there is less room to shake around. It’s still shakes up a little bit and sometimes it is difficult to twist open, but it does work pretty well. Other than that keeps things really cold all the way to the campsite.
Truly enjoy the stories. Thanks. Do you ever get fatigued where you take a day off from riding? And, now after some 21 days camping, could you have completely done away with some of the conveniences (such as chair or table), or are they must-haves?
Well I was defiantly fatigued a bit along the way as the trip progressed, but I found ways to rest and recharge along the way too. I really liked the chair and the table a lot, they make life at the end of a long day a little bit more civilized and clean. I will definitely use them again.
I’m a native Coloradan, and have a GS adventure bike. I’m getting fired up to explore my backyard! I do ride 3-5 times a year in Guatemala (Honda XR250s at Motorcycle Adventure Guatemala). Let me know if you would be game to ride with us. And sure, it’d be an adventure to ride Central America vía Mexico, too.
Do you ever just want to fire up a cup of boiling water and have a dehydrated Mountain House dinner, and save time? Your dinners make for great videos, (and I’m jealous of your abilities) and I’m smiling while watching, but sometimes when I’ve been in the backcountry after a long hike, I couldn’t care less where my calories come from. Haha. I just want to eat and sleep.
My priorities at the end of the day are (1) cold beer, (2) hot dinner and (3) comfortable bed. Im not opposed to simple meals like "just add water" or a can of soup but it I have the time and can find the right supplies I prefer cooking and eating well. It gives me something to do and I enjoy seeing what I can come up with next!
how much cooking oil do you carry and how do you pack it ? i always end up with oil soaked items in my panniers cause top came off or exploded 😁 again love the videos.

You really ignite that sense of wonder in me. I am aching to be out. You are a wonderful photographer & story teller. Peace
Great places to reset our life. Moments of reflection are needed. And nature is the main source of inspiration.
Wow, what a magical moment w/ the coyotes.
Hello friend! It is always a pleasure to be able to accompany you, from Brazil, through these beautiful landscapes in your country. The howls of wolves sound like a welcome message to their territories. Gratitude!
It's a good thing I had dinner just before watching your video with all that good food you made. That's the way it's done.
best motorcycle camping man ever
Now you upgraded also to coyote….. thank’s again for sharing all this beauty with us.
These videos are so great I watched them twice.
That was choice. I'm grinning ear-to-ear. You've got all of the elements in one package there.
Kudos to you. This is the best ADV series I have watched during Covid. Amazing for a one man show. The earlier stuff is so good. Stuff I will never get the chance to do but I can live it vicariuosly thru these vids
Awesome.. i always look forward to see what you going to cook and drink.. I pretty much do the same.. on my solo rides..
I've never had to experience that kind of travel...but it's good and it's freedom.
Swordfish and stuffed mushrooms? I don’t eat that well at home!
Beautiful video. Well shot and directed. Like the first part without any music or dialogue. Put the whole comping experience in context. Love your work. You are an inspiration. Thank you
Brilliant looking fish stake, bon appitte. All looking great for a brilliant ride

I have been following your videos series since a while now and enjoying every bit of it. You are giving me a tour of USA. Love from India.
Glad you like them! Thanks for saying 'hi'!!
This and all your other videos too is just a piece of art. I LOVE IT
Another great episode....I’m gonna hate to see this end, but you likely will make it home in the next video. THANKS so much for sharing your adventure....NO doubt your videography was a BID endeavor an work!
Getting out on a duel sport is the only thing that provides a calm to this crazy world. A fellow Arizonan, Awesome videos.Thanks.
Couldn't agree more!
Cool! Excellent ! Have fun - thx for sharing!
Pretty freaking awesome videos. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Nothing like the sound of coyotes to enhance an adventure trip!
I love sleeping in my hammock, look into a structural Ridgeline for yours and then get an underquilt! Best things I did to my hammock kit.
The mood of this episode, I can relate from my past rides. I'm watching this in December, but looks like you shot this in the fall. Nice retrospect.
Quite simply - that was superb. Sleep well 🤣🐅
Thanks for another great episode
I look forward to each episode. Your videos are superb and your commentary is inspiring.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you ❤️ Love the howling at the end!
Another great episode, thanks.
Perfect way to hit that reset button, what a stunning little spot!
Awesome Sterling!
These are some of the most relaxed and inspirational videos. It's hard not to point my GS southwest and ride. Soon. Very soon.
Ohhh, the suspense is killing me... way to leave us hangin’ Sterling... 😎
Another home run! I would love to sit down and talk with you for hours! Amazing!
Maybe one day!
Great video Sterling👍very well done 😉
I hope Firebox is hooking you up, they have had to have sold a ton of merch thanks to you and this series.
We all could use another reset moment now. What a great moment being one with your surroundings.
Great videos! I can tell that your extremely comfortable outdoors with nature. I would be scared shitless....
As a guy who has never camped once in my life (my idea of "roughing it" is a hotel with no room service! lol), I'm amazed at the tools available for cooking, and the variety of great foods you are eating! Sterling: Great videos!!! I really enjoy the ride, the camping and the stories!

Awesome series can't wait to see more

Good morning Sterling, i was expecting an episode just seconds ago

Wonderful 👍🏍💨💨
Incredible

Really enjoying your videos, excellent work!
Yes indeed, lots of crazy going on in the world. Your journey seems like heaven on earth to me. Keep on riding that endless highway...
Depends... its all dirt roads but they are basically very easy to ride.
Love this!
Your ride looks great. What are the riding boots you're using I'd like to take a look at them and compare them to what I have.
I look forward to each video in the series. I love the riding as much as the camp commentary. I’ve shared these with friends who are curious about how and why I do my own trips. I am crious why you choose jeans to ride in. Are you wearing knee/hip armor? Keep up the amazing story.

I wonder if coyotes like swordfish and stuffed mushrooms :)
Enjoyed “tagging along” on your trip. Beautifully done. Curious to know how it was sleeping in the hammock? Did you have a backache the next morning?
Also, wondering what tires you are running. Looked like Michelin’s but wasn’t sure.
Great dinner
