Right! I used to work Instacart, and if a customer had a large order from the deli, I would write it on a piece of paper and give it to the deli workers before I start shopping and just go back to get it when I’m ready to checkout.

I was in line at a deli one time, a younger woman was working. There was a man in front of me that was so rude, so demanding and literally demeaning this employee. I’m very shy and incredibly non-confrontational but I couldn’t stand for what I was seeing. I basically told this man how I felt about him and he stormed off. The poor woman working there was crying. I told her that people like that customer are miserable and feel the need to bring others down to their level. I told her she’s doing a great job. The manager saw the whole thing happen and came up to me, thanked me for being so nice and then gave me my sandwich on the house! Of course I never expect anything in return, I was just being a decent human being. But it shows a little kindness goes a long way!

One tiny mistake and your done for it you get screamed at you insults you pretty much relieve your glory days at when you were at middle school and thinking to yourself how did I get here.
