    Hi Taylor ! 🙋🏻‍♀️
I'm long time viewer (from Taytay 2.0 area 🎀) but I've never dare to comment your video.
I've seen your previous Paris vlog and as I French person I'm so glad that other people can discover my country through your eyes and I'm very curios about the next country you're going to introduce us !! ✨
I don't know if you're going to read this comment but if you, or anyone else desire to try French literature here is some recommandations :
    - "The man who wanted to be happy" by Laurent Gounelle (he is a French actor / philosopher I would say, and after finishing his books you always sort of feel positive and ready enough to make to necessary positive changes in your life. The message is deep, still the style is accessible)🌿
    - "Bonjour tristesse" by Francoise Sagan (this is actually one of the book you can study in high school; this is a very good representative of it's time) ☔️
    - Anything from Jules Vernes (I don't know how it's going to be translated, it could be a little bit hard because it's "old French", nevertheless his books are real gate to time travel)🎞
    - Also anything from Guillaume Musso or Marc Levy. Their are both very popular French author, can be a good introduction to French language if you read the original version. You always end up being really into the stories even is the prose is accessible. 🥐
    - Children stories such as "Sophie's misfortunes" by the Countess of Segur is still a vivid and romanesque memory from my childhood. 🪡
    - In fine, "The outsider" from Albert Camus, "Nana" from Emile Zola, "Les miserables" from Victor Hugo, "In search of lost time" from Marcel Proust are really good classics. 🕯
If hope some of you could find a little bit of inspiration from this non-exhaustive list. 📚🙏🏻

As a French person, I love how accurate our culture was represented and explained. Creperies are amazing, one of my favourite traditional foods and custom. It's so lovely to discover and experience (new) cultures where you live. And we get to experience it in your videos too! My go to recently for coping with wanting to travel has been watching documentaries about different countries. There is a French documentary show/channel called "échappées belles" which follows a similar format to what you did in your video, they go to different towns/counties/countries and explore through a more local perspective. It is wonderful- it feels like your own take of this show and I'm living for it! As for next country, possibly Italy :) they also have very tasty food! Your gratin looked amazing by the way!

As a French girl, it's so cool to see French communities abroad! I didn't know about Hong Kong's one. Those people's strories were truly insteresting and inspiring. I hope I too could travel to Hong Kong one day. It was so nice to watch ! ❤
For the Breakfast (petit déjeuner), I guess what they gave you was a mix between pain perdu (litteraly "lost bread") et Croque-monsieur ("crunch Mr") or a sweetened version of the Croque-monsieur.
Croque-monsieur is this block crispy toasted bread. It's a salty dish with some ham and cheese in it and sometimes with béchamel (bechamel) on top. If you add a fried egg on top, it becomes a Croque-madame ("crunch Mrs").
Special mention for the Tartiflette, It looked frickin' delicious! 🤤🤤🤤

Taylor I liked this video so much, when my (French) husband gets up tomorrow morning I'm going to make him watch it, too! When covid started getting bad, almost all of the French community where we live were transferred back to France, and it's been so strange having suddenly only each other to chat to in French irl. I hope that the community slowly begins to return once things are better... this video gave me a little taste of home that I didn't even know I needed. Thank you!

I’ve (personally) never wore a berret but !! It’s funny. I will say that berret, red lipstick and the baguette is a more « Parisian style » than a « French » one ! 😂

You really excel in this --can’t tell you how many tomes I rewatched the HK food videos, like the rude service breakfast spot.

The French in HK share their art and culture more I believe. There's even a French theatre community where you can take acting classes. 😊

Philippines has all the Spanish culture in Asia. It doesn't even feel like Asian, but more like a Latin American country. It used to be one of your colonies. They even speak a Spanish creole dialect called Chavacano there where 90% of the words are Spanish. Even as a Spaniard you could probably understand 50% of the Filipino language.

Hey Taylor ! As a French person, I have to give you some tips about the ''french'' makeup :
when it comes to the lips, we do prefer a more matte lipstick. No shiny, no sticky, we hate that. We want our lipstick to stay on our lips and work throughout the day, without moving. If I can recommend one I would say all of my friends (me included) love the Russian Red lipstick by MAC. It's by far the most representative of that french lips style :)
When it comes to cheeks, make them way more peachy :) we like our cheeks pinkish and to have that ''natural fresh cute red nose'' look !
Also for eyes, I would actually recommend no eyeshadow at all, or a small eyeliner wing.
That's it for me, love your videos !
