    15hrs left, and only 6 more people needed to hit the last Stretch Goal: load/save audio clips via the uSD card in the Looper.

    Nicely done, as ever, Ben. Thanks for doing a follow-up video ... and maybe include some more ambient guitar in your forthcoming videos (wherever appropriate)? Hopefully you'll be able to do another follow-up once the production machines are available.
    I'm hoping the KS project will hit the third stretch goal because the idea of the 'Spectral Drone Machine' algorithm really takes my fancy. If it doesn't quite get there, maybe Paul and Eric will consider adding it in anyway or as an early firmware upgrade post-initial delivery?
    Anyway, cheers for this.

      Yeah the idea of the spectral drone I think is interesting. Not actually sure what that would be. But I NEED to know. Maybe more guitar in the future, if tape is involved it's a given or any effect like tape.

      Oh yeah us guitar and bass players see lots of uses for this. Thanks for another great video man.

    Some amazing sonic possibilities with this then! Loved the guitar section too, really helped to demonstrate the potential!

      I'm going to upload the full uncut version. It's a nice listen I think.

    Whoah, the looper might actually turn out to be my favorite part of this thing. Though it has a lot of competition for "best mode" :)

    • @DivKid
      @DivKid  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the competition for "best" mode is fierce. That might change project to project of course.

    Wow the deflector shield sounds exactly like the odradek from death stranding

    Perhaps this was mentioned in the demo and I just missed it- can you send a clock signal to trigger input so the loop stays in time with your patch? Also, can you make a loop and use it as a master clock for a patch (as in, can it send a clock pulse out at the loop point to continue to build the rest of your patch around)?

    • @paulschreiber9384
      @paulschreiber9384 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The first request may be difficult, but the second one (a pulse out when the loop "wraps around" ) I will investigate. We have a general-purpose "AUX OUT" which can be a DC voltage or a clock pulse. I don't think it's assigned currently in the Looper.

      @@paulschreiber9384 nice! Thanks for the info. Pulse out at loop point would be great : )

    The guitar outro has me STRONGLY leaning..

    You have the guitar direct input into the module, no amplifying signal? Sounds gorgeous

    • @paulschreiber9384
      @paulschreiber9384 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It cannot do guitar directly. Ben is using a pre-recorded guitar sample.

      Paul Schreiber ah ya that’s what I figured. From phrasing I though it plugged right in, but totally makes sense. Regardless it’s wonderful.

    • @DivKid

      @jordan this was live and improvised. I had my Telecaster strapped on as I stood to the side of the camera tripod. The signal chain was Guitar - Befaco Instrument Interface - E520 looper - then delay/reverb FX.
      Apologies that wasn't clear when I said "straight in". I just meant dry and the FX are POST looper.

      DivKidVideo all good! That makes sense! I was just being a dingus and thought “oh damn, this can boost / handle signal as well?!” But yea these videos rule and got me to back the project instantly. Both grey work.
