I really like the portability of the light (among other things). Out of studio lighting is a constant problem and this light would go a long way toward solving those problems.
Hi there. Very good review. I think this is exactly the thing I need. But do you think it will work well with a gopro12 for shooting objects on the table and hands from above? My budget is very limited.
It is really difficult to say. I own the 60d so it has a bit more strength and I definitely can not use it to light against the sun. However you can add a little kick on a persons face, but I would recommend using the sun or diffusing or reflecting it with a 5 in 1 reflector.
@@jesrablom I'm thinking on buying the 60x or 100x for my living room setting. is your 60d good enough for you or you wish that you had bought the 100d.
@@kandoundou23 if you have the money go for 100x or even 200x. Especially with a bicolour light you lose some output over a daylight only light. I have recently bought the 200x and the flexibility the higher output gives you is amazing. However with my 60d I shot some really nice things and have zero regrets in buying it. At the end of the day it is all about just using the things you got and making beautiful shots.
Hi Niko!
Yes! I will get Amaran light, I love the fact that you can control wirelessly. I promise Niko am getting one soon, thank for the Review.

Yup! Getting the handle for this and the Aputure Lightbox 45x45 makes this a very portable setup.
How easily do the parts fit back in the box? A complaint of the earlier version was everything was too tight to fit back in once unpacked.
Most of it fits back in the box pretty easy. Just like the 1st version, the complicated item to put back is the power cord.
@@NikoBols thanks!
I have it... it's still a pain...

Nice review! On the Sidus link app, how do you turn the light on/off (I couldn't find a button or icon) that indicates that? Thanks.
Good review. What about fan noise {adjustable?} and the Light effects.
Great review! I think I’ll get the light!
Thanks!
is this good for wedding venue receptions
For what use? If for your main lights for the venue, I think you would want a more powerful light.
is this bright enough to do outdoor interview on battery power?
